Chap. 102: Ardenter and Nimis

In an office building, in a quiet night. It was about half-nine in the evening when work was over and most people had returned home.

But then there was a black car that stopped right in front of the entrance of the building and then a bunch of people in full tuxedo clothes and sunglasses. Their bodies also look burly and muscular.

After checking that there were no pedestrians around, they all got out of the car and into the building.

They also carried a black suitcase that looked very protected because the person carrying the suitcase was surrounded by burly people.

But without them knowing it, right across the street from the office building. Two people were watching them all. The two of them sat in an angkringan stall with the old seller who was the owner.

After ordering something to look like a real buyer, the two of them then discussed the plan for a while before entering the building.

They are Nigiyaka and Akihito. This time they were doing their job as an Assassin, just like before.

Originally the two of them wanted to stop being an Assassin for having joined Black Rain, but having Black Rain suddenly removed from Kuni no Hashira left them short of funds.

And that's what keeps them coming back to their old jobs. Back to using the name 'Nimis' and 'Ardenter' again.

Although they did not like it because it was the given name of Astaroth, but because the name of this one has been famous in the underworld. Then they will use it again.

The seller was serving some fried food orders of the two people and then returned to his own busyness.

While opening it and drinking it, Ardenter was confused because Nimis was completely motionless from where he was before. He continued to look towards Ardenter.

"Oi, are you deaf?"

"...."

Nimis could, of course, hear what Ardenter said, only that he did not because there was something he wanted to tell him.

Ardenter also seemed to realize that because Nimis who looked down was nervous. Finally, Ardenter walked over and looked directly into his eyes.

"Do you want to say something? Besides, can you talk?"

"Huh?"

"Can you protect me?"

That question left Ardern, of course, confused. Because it's possible that the woman he just met asked Ardenter to protect her.

Ardenter who hugged Nimis and let his body touch the ground first so that Nimis' body was not in pain, he could still feel the burning heat from the person he was hugging at this moment.

While Nimis who saw it just smiled thinly and then stood up from his seat and stretched a little before finally walking out of the angkringan stall.

"Where are you going?"

Nimis immediately jumped up and broke the glass into the second floor leaving the still dumbfounded Ardenter watching him leave.

Meanwhile inside, the horde of people carrying the tightly guarded black suitcase climbed onto the elevator and climbed all the way to the 17th floor. When the elevator doors opened, someone was waiting for them at the elevator door.

With a focused and intimidating gaze, Nimis focused on everyone who was there and the person who was carrying the suitcase. One of the men recognized Nimis and spoke in a frightened tone.

"O-that person is .. one of the famous Assassins. Nimis!"

"Based on maniacs" said Ardenter.

"What does it really contain?"

Nimis then saw him too. And the contents are just a pillowcase Dakimakura with an image of the idol that is currently trending, namely Koyomi Arisu.
