23. Dark Creatures

"Drew, protect Varen and Aira!" The emperor gave the order with his floor. "Let me be in command against them," clearly the Emperor still looked up at the sky.

"I will help you," the empress hung her left hand on the emperor's arm.

"No Your Majesty, I will help you with all my might." I don't want to just hide without doing anything, "please servant."

"This time I agree with Aira, father." Varen now clasped my hand, "let us help."

"But this is very dangerous, your core strength is still sealed. Moreover you are a target, Varen!" The Empress looked at Varen fixedly. "Don't act stupid, life is at stake!"

"Boom!"

We stared at the protective layer that was now starting to look hollow! I stared in horror, dozens of magic troops were seen preparing in the sky, but were certainly outnumbered. Another soldier on the ground, I got goosebumps for some reason I felt pessimistic.

"You stay here!" The Emperor ruled over me and Varen. "Take them Drew!" The Emperor's orders again to General Drew, he took the empress' hand.

"Protect it" the empress said before they flew away into the sky, joining the magic army.

"I don't want to stay here Varen" I said. "They're not enough to contain thousands of these terrible creatures, oh please let Varen allow me."

"No Aira, you just woke up!" Varen holds both shoulders, "I'll help mom and dad, you stay here with Drew."

I glanced at Drew at a glance, of course Drew also did not approve of Varen's proposal, but he could not refuse. "Bring General Drew, I'll be fine here."

Varen stared in disbelief at me, "go with General Drew, or I'll go!"

My voice rose as the bang came back, a sign of another hole forming in the protective layer. "Go, hurry!"

Varen nodded, he looked at me for a long time in silence then followed the Emperor and Empress along with General Drew. War seemed inevitable again, just wait for the time the protective layer will be destroyed.

I silently looked up at the sky, those creatures looked creepy. Some are horned, fanged, some are in the form of creepy animals, oh my God they are really monsters. Are they the same creatures that my grandparents faced at birth? Yes, my grandfather and grandmother even gave up their lives, how can I save the silver empire?

Thousands of dark creatures are still trying to tear down the protective layer, I try to look around, looking for something that seems to give orders. Many of them banged themselves, some used weapons, but some used black magic. Besides, meet! There was a man standing above them riding on a three-headed giant snake. I squinted, he looked like a human being only his red eyes looked strange, shining with hatred.

"Get the rest of you aside, you useless!" The man's scream echoed, his screams sounding loudly in my ears. Gawat, the giant snake he was riding on was not an animal. My mother used to warn me to stay away from demonic animals, including three-headed snakes. This snake has a deadly venom and its head can regenerate quickly. And so, that man must have extraordinary abilities, maybe he could destroy the protective layer!

I pointed my right hand towards the sky, the silver, white and gold aura I was able to merge into one made a protective layer for the magicians, empresses, emperors, Varen and General Drew. Now they look like they're inside a giant bubble, that's the only protector I can make, because I have to conserve energy.

I flew fast while absorbing as much solar energy as I could.

"outside.. Duars..Duar.." The huge explosion resulted in the protective layer being destroyed.

"Mir!" I heard Varen's scream from inside the protective layer, but I didn't mind. I make them not penetrate, I want them to be safe, even if I die.

"You're saying I'm a coward?" The man squinted his eyes from afar, his one hand raised making all the dark creatures unmoving. Right I guess, he's in control. "Little girl like you dare to challenge me? Ahaha!" Her laughing voice echoed deafeningly, I held back the shudder that was creeping through my body, her aura was extremely dark!

I was foolish to face it alone, before flying into the sky, an heirloom book had appeared to open its pages and reveal the writing.

'If the ruling blood, pure silver and ancestral topaz unite, justice will rise.'

I remembered it and immediately bit my finger hard, it hurt but I didn't stop until I felt the blood on my lips. I rubbed my lips rough, I saw the tip of my right finger had dripped blood. I flowed the silver aura I got from the emperor to the bloody fingertips, then simultaneously dripped my blood on the topaz ring given by the empress. I bandaged the ring with silver energy, hoping inwardly that the silver energy left to me was enough to do so.

"What are you doing little girl? Are you playing with yourself?" The three-headed snake started to approach. "I think my snake can no longer wait to devour you! Haaha..."

I muffled my anger, my focus focused on the ring expectantly. "Are you willing to be a full-time companion to the heir-elect Varen Vijendra?"

The voice emerged from the silver aura that was now starting to form a unicorn! His voice echoed and loudly, there was no time to think, I reminded myself that my goal was to save the silver empire.

"Yes, I'm willing."

My words flowed firmly, there is no other way now. "Honor Your Majesty," the silver aura seemed to attract the purplish blue aura of the topaz, until finally a gigantic silver unicorn appeared, with sky-blue eyes and beautiful silvery blue hair and a silver crown perched on his head. "Hamba Viorel, swearing to serve His Majesty," he bowed his head towards me.

"Thank you Viorel, I take your oath." Instantly the viorel horn glowed blue, the light enveloped me and Viorel's entire body, binding us in his vow.

"Okay, Your Majesty," I followed Viorel's advice to climb his body. Still in the blue light of Viorel, he stood firmly with me on his back. "The weakness of the snake is the eyes and the heart, Your Majesty."

"Thank you Viorel" I said as I absorbed Viorel's blue light. Vio flew quickly towards the snake, the snake was surprised by the appearance of Vio, he tried to dodge but I quickly attacked his three pairs of eyes. Two pairs were injured, but one pair missed! The red-eyed youth looked wrathful, he reversed the attack on me with his black aura. My reflexes make a barrier, but strangely my barrier is dark black! I used the same black aura that belonged to that young man! The young man's attack bounced back at him, attacking him and successfully making him fall from the snake's body. The black aura is still out in my right hand, the sun is starting to shift from its place, I need to hurry! If I can fight it with the black aura that is within me, maybe this can be finished sooner!

"Who are you such a little girl!" He threw hundreds of arrows at me, those arrows shot out fast.

Vio took me flying away, I made the barrier again and managed to reverse the attack, I quickly absorbed the sunlight, collected it and blasted it towards them.

"Twayd!!!"

The explosion not only affected the snake and the young man, several dark creatures were seen lying around.

"Basic cheating girl!" The young man gathered his black aura, making an enormous black sphere. My feeling was bad, I tried to imitate what he was doing, but suddenly the three-headed snake attacked towards me, making me bounce off Vio's body. Vio shot out his blue light trying to attack the snake, I tried to gain control of myself and wanted to throw an attack to help Vio as Varen's yelling deafened my ears.

"AIRA LOOKOUT!" I looked at Varen, I don't know what I saw, Varen froze the protective layer I had made, and then he destroyed it. "TWO!" my protective layer is broken into pieces.

"AWAS!" Shouted Varen again, he flew towards me quickly. I gasped and refocused on the young man, oh no! The black ball is getting bigger, I tried to make a protective barrier, but it's too late! The black ball was shot towards me. I close my eyes, stay free!
