"I'm sorry I don't know if you are His Highness the Crown Prince" I said, leaning my back against the seat inside the horse-drawn carriage. The young man sat beside me, only about two feet apart.
I remember the flag on the horse-drawn carriage was a golden lion with a silver base, just like the robe this young man wore. Then it is true my guess, he was the young man I helped back then. But the matter of age was still a question that I had to investigate later, as well as the cold poison that seemed to still be in the body of this young man.
"It seems like your words sound more polite after learning that I am the crown prince," he turned his head and looked at me. "One's title and department really does affect you, right?"
I took a deep breath of restraining emotions, here of course I am no one, just an ordinary person with no rank and position. "Of course, Your Majesty, if you dare to put aside His Majesty's titles and titles, maybe you are lifeless."
I looked down, feeling the warm sunlight enveloping my body. Both of my hands glowed again, but only a golden light, not a rainbow. It seems like something is blocking my rainbow aura.
"Hold on for a moment, there will be a healer who can heal your wounds."
I turned to look at the young man beside me who was now throwing his face out the window. I followed him, staring out the window beside me. The horse-drawn carriage moved quite quickly, the view of the trees and forest was now changed with the view of the city full of buildings. People leaned towards us, the little ones seemed to cheer happily at the passing of the horse carriage. It turned out that his respectful manner was different, this was indeed a region outside of the three empires.
Shortly after the horse-drawn carriage entered the enormous silver gate, dozens of soldiers stood guard. They saluted as we passed by, shortly after, the horse carriage stopped.
A soldier opened the door beside the young man. Suddenly the young man again clasped my right hand, holding it without any intention of letting go. He got off the horse-drawn carriage, I followed him. He helped me down still holding my hand.
"Our respect, Your Highness the Crown Prince," unlike the soldier I saw earlier, in front of me now stood 10 people wearing plain silver clothes, their silver aura exuding out.
"Thank God my son is back!"
A crowned woman slammed into the arms of the young man beside me, followed by a crowned man behind her. They were very charismatic, this young man got his hair from the mother who was very beautiful, while his blue eyes he got from the father. They are a wonderful family, I miss my mom and dad.
"Oh no, your body is injured! How about this, I told you to be careful because the healers can't treat you!" His mother looks panicked.
"Ehm, your son's consort did not come alone," the father opened his voice.
My body stiffened, but the young man tightened his grasp.
"Honour to His Majesty the Emperor and His Majesty the Empress" I said as I bowed in imitation of the way of respect of the people I had seen.
"Oh my goodness look! You hurt so much, come with me, son," The Empress, who knows what name, grabbed both of my shoulders, I was shocked that she was hurt by her touch to me, but I remember that young man didn't react either so maybe his mother and father were just as unaffected. I'm a little calm.
"Varen, let go of your grasp boy! Otherwise, how could you take her and treat her?"
My cheeks were hot, ashamed. The young man looked at me for a moment then nodded, "alright." He let go of his grasp.
The Empress took off her robe and put it on my shoulder, she helped me walk while continuing to hug both of my shoulders. Warm, although not the same as mother, but I know her actions are sincere. Ten people dressed in plain silver also followed us.
The palace was dominated by pure white with a silver roof, the flowers bloomed beautifully, I liked it, it looked clean but still elegant. The empress took me to a room with a painting of white tulips adorning the entire wall of the room.
"You guys get out, let me help her."
As per the empress' orders, they came out of the room and closed the door, leaving us both.
"What's your name, son?" asked the empress who was sitting next to me, her hands cupping my right hand.
"Aira, Your Majesty," I replied as I stared at her pretty face. Looking at her, I felt like a dust grain, oh my goodness her beauty is amazing!
"A beautiful name" he said, as I felt a white aura suddenly coming out of his body. That holy aura enveloped my entire body, giving off a warm and comfortable feeling, covering all the wounds that existed to the point of no end.
He then stroked my hair, "come home son." He gave me a warm hug, made me miss my mother. "Thank you for coming for my son."
The empress let go of her embrace, there were tears on her white cheeks. "My son is different from most people, he is very lonely, but today seeing him take you home, I am a little relieved, please treat my son well."
Both of the queen's eyes looked teary, there was a deep sadness.
*-*-*-*-
A beautiful night in the silver empire, Varen sat beside me, gazing at the expanse of flowers blooming with the light of the moon and stars. I looked at Varen, his clothes had been changed with imperial silver, a white suit with a long silver robe symbolizing a golden lion. But the words of the empress were still ringing in my ears, I remembered that if Varen's mother said that she could not be healed by the healers, it meant that the wound was still there!
"Your Majesty, is it still sick?" manya curious.
Varen rolled up his sleeve, revealing the same wounds I had seen before, some of which were still bleeding. "I'm different from you" Varen looked at me, his eyes full of sadness. "Even my own mother can't heal me," Varen turned his gaze to the sky.
"I'm sorry Aira, I repeatedly clasped your hands without asking for your approval first," Varen still stared deep into the sky, but his words sounded sincere. "I felt a sense of warmth when I held your hand, a warmth that could fight against the cold in my body."
I was still silent as I looked at him, giving him time to continue his words.
"I live in the cold, I can't even feel the warmth when my parents hug me."
I was stunned, I didn't expect him to live like that. I can't even imagine life without being able to feel the warmth of the family I care about most.
"It feels cold, hollow and endless. I'm tired, all this time I've only lived for my parents." Slowly Varen looked back at me, "but I started to feel warmth while trying to transfer my energy to you back then. There was a little warmth I could feel, until I finally tried to hold you out of curiosity."
He bowed suddenly, "forgive me Aira, my curiosity overcame my politeness. Dad has punished me, you can punish me, too."
There was a strange feeling that appeared, I felt sorry to see Varen but curiosity also enveloped me, as a result I grabbed Varen's left hand beside me, grasping it tightly.
