"Varen why are you quiet? Shouldn't you help me persuade the empress?" I said with a slight whimper, shouldn't Varen just be silent to see her family's heirloom ring perched on the ring finger of my left hand.
"If it has been given, it cannot be returned" replied Varen exactly as the Empress had said to me this morning.
"Varen please think, they're wrong about our relationship. What if they marry us? Would you marry without love?" my grunt was bad for him.
"So you don't love me?" Varen looked at me with her pair of blue eyes.
I snorted in annoyance, how could he return the question to me? Basic sucks! "Can anyone love that fast? We met yesterday! You don't even know my origins, and vice versa, I don't know what your nature and habits are, how can you love?"
Varen stepped closer to me, until we were only two feet away. "If you are in love, then love! It doesn't take much of a reason" I slightly raised my head, because Varen is taller than me. I couldn't read his eyes, I got increasingly upset and took a few steps back, trying to get away from him.
I was about to return to my protest when the sound of someone running over came, "Honor Your Majesty's servant."
A person dressed in war, complete with a long robe bearing the gold lion, bowed his body towards Varen. "What's the general?"
The General stared doubtfully and glanced at me. Varen caught the gaze, suddenly he walked towards me and took my left hand. "Speak!"
The General looked at my hand that Varen was holding, he looked a little surprised. I was uncomfortable and tried to take off Varen's hand, but the more I tried, the stronger he clasped, out of nowhere the power he got, if I didn't stop, the stronger he held it, maybe my bones could be crushed by it. In the end I could only leave.
"His Majesty, the security has been carried out according to His Majesty's orders." The general stopped his words, there was a clear worry emanating from his face. "I'm still worried that this time it's still not enough, Your Majesty," the general said truthfully, his red aura looking strong.
"Tell Drew what worries you!" Varen stared at his generals, his cold aura starting to feel strengthened.
"That forecast," the general looked back at Varen. "Servants think we should be prepared, if the prophecy is true" said General Drew, full of courage.
"Sorry, what prophecy are you talking about?" I knew that I was not polite to interrupt the conversation between the two, but my curiosity was unbearable.
Varen's cold chill came out of his body, I channeled some golden aura from my grasp, tried to warm him up and warm myself, I hope his emotions are under control.
"Many meanings can be obtained from the prophecy, there is no harm in preparing for the worst possible, while there is still a protective layer maybe we can be a little relieved," I said channeling thoughts.
"Protective coating?" ask both at the same time.
Oh my God I forgot that I'm not in three empires! I stared at Varen and General Drew alternately, "isn't the safest precaution being to create a protective layer?"
"The protective layer is not easy to make, there must be many talented experts to make it, it cannot be careless." I gawk at Varen's words, then how many talented people have made the third layer of the empire's protector? Wait is the fire dragon protective layer only made by grandfather and grandmother? How good are they both? But haven't I made it before? although in retrospect the scale was small, but soon I was again discouraged because I remembered that my aura was still sealed.
"Then what about the protective barrier?" It may not be as perfect as a protective layer that can protect from all directions, but it can at least protect from both directions. My eyes sparkled like I found a needle in a haystack, "can't we make it?"
"Good capsule Miss, but if the power of talented people is spent on making the barrier, then at the later event of the night we can only rely on physical strength, without magic at all." General Drew analyzed my opinion, I frowned a little. Depletes strength? during this time I made many protective barriers without experiencing any severe side effects, except during the holy lightning event. I wonder, am I still able to make it with my rainbow aura still sealed?
I thought in silence, General Drew and Varen seem to be drifting in each other's minds. As I recall besides my sealed rainbow aura, I absorbed the energy from the sun, I have a golden aura. I also still hold the sacred white aura of Varen's mother, besides there was a very strong blue aura that I got this morning from the Varen family heirloom ring.
My curiosity returned unstoppable. I took off Varen's grip this time he let go without a fight, I stepped down the gazebo leaving Varen and General Drew still drifting in their thoughts. Varen just followed me with his tail, letting me do what I wanted. I walked away from them on the path decorated with flower gardens around it, to approach the palace walls at the end of the back garden. A few dozen meters from the Gazebo where Varen and General Drew stood.
I tried to focus, combining the three auras I had and re-absorbing the boundless sunlight energy shining down this afternoon. I flicked my right hand and pointed it at the palace wall.
"Get out!" Blowing the aura out of my right hand created a transparent barrier that was purple gold, probably a mixture of the three auras I absorbed, the barrier continued to be created to perfectly surround the palace. Utilizing the momentum, I focused all three auras, closed my eyes and expected impossibility. I thrust both my hands into the sky, absorb as much sun aura as I can, mix it with the 2 auras present within me, then I return it to the sky.
"TWOAAARRRR!!!" A fierce explosion sounded deafening, the three auras I had felt sucked out of my body. I opened my eyes, looking up at the sky. I smiled, thank God I saw a purple-gold protective layer matching the protective barrier I made, encompassing the silver imperial sky. Thin and not as perfect as the protective layer of the fire dragon but at least I hope to give a little help to Varen and his family. They have treated me very well, then I am a little satisfied, I have nothing to thank, at least the barrier and protective layer can make my heart a little calm.
My eyes began to unfocus, it felt weak and dizzy. I tried to re-absorb the aura of the sun, but it seems that I was a little exhausted. My body was limp and almost fell to the ground when a pair of cold pale hands caught me. The hand held my body in his arms.
