The Another World Grimoire

The Another World Grimoire
Chapter 1.2: The First Step

— Year 1000 HB, Rehobot, Narcius Kingdom

Still in the meadow, where Hizashi awakens in the Rehobot region. It is undeniable that he is in another world. And just carry a book in his hand.

"So this is a new world called Bazylian.."

Hizashi walked straight towards a ruin that was right in his sight. The ruins were a castle, looking old and broken, like a building long abandoned.

"Castles?"

Then, the book in Hizashi's grasp floated up and opened its own page to the first page. The paper glowed and finally there was a "Nivuerde Castle" on the blank page, complete with a picture of the castle before it was destroyed.

"This book, it turns out great too." muttered Hizashi in surprise.

He told himself to take the book down and read it.

"Nivuerde's? So, this castle is called Nivuerde?"

None other than the ruins was Nivuerde Castle, the castle of the Ancient Gaolis Empire before the great war era began. The castle was destroyed by the war. This information is written in the book.

"Nivuerde Castle, Ancient Gaolis Imperial Castle. The castle was destroyed in a great war, and now leaves only ruins on the edge of Rehobot.." muttered Hizashi as he read the sheets in his book.

Hizashi raised his gaze at the ruins. No one was there, should have been. After a few minutes, he heard a sharp growl.

"Grrh!"

"Who is that?" Hizashi. He looked around him suspiciously.

"Grrh!"

The sound of the growl was getting louder and creepy. Like a hungry beast looking for prey to devour.

"Where did it come from?." asked Hizashi suspiciously.

He was still looking around, and then a dog-shaped creature approached him. The dog stared at him sharply while growling loudly.

"Grrh!"

"S—a dog?" Hizashi.

The dog seemed to be alone. Hizashi felt he could finish him off, but he had no weapons. All he had was a book that didn't know what it was for.

"Damn! I didn't know that there were monsters here!"

Hizashi tried to retreat from there slowly because he had no weapons. Again, he only had "books". The dog started to approach while running.

"What am I supposed to do? If this is an MMORPG I can still live, but this is another world." muttered Hizashi.

He was still thinking hard, even he did not know that the dog was actually carrying another herd behind him. Until then, he had not found an idea.

While the dogs were still running and starting to get close to him, suddenly a cursory idea popped into his head.

"Then, then.."

He lifted up his gaze to a wooden branch next to him. Then he took it and used it like a sword that could be used to stop the dogs.

"..I'll free you all!"

Unexpectedly, the wooden branch then lit up, just as he was still holding the book in his next hand.

He did not realize that the branches were lit. He directly pointed the twig at one of the herd of monster dogs, and then hit it with the twig.

His body also disappeared instantly, and dropped an item that was shaped like an oblong rock.

Hizashi. How he knew that that little twig could kill a fierce monster dog. The strength of his twig which later became his temporary guess.

"This twig, magical? How can.."

He looked back at the book he had brought. The book re-opened and on the page showing "Chapter II" which was originally just a title, was filled with the words "Refining (B) – Level 1".

"Re—fining?" Is this a skill?" ask Hizashi.

The fight is not over. There are still a lot of monster dogs that need to be cleaned up. About ten of them surrounded and surrounded him.

He observed the surroundings with twigs and books that were in both of his hands. The dogs stared at him fiercely and frighteningly.

He then trembled and felt a deep fear traverse through his ever-quiet mind.

"K—why am I shaking?...Is this the end of my life?...."

The dogs then pounced on Hizashi and dropped him. He did not struggle or thrash, as if resigned.

"Ah—this is the end of my life."

Then the twig is back on even though it is out of his grasp. The dogs tried to tear her all of her hands apart.

He tried to take the twig as soon as possible even though he was hit by dogs trying to tear him apart.

Hizashi managed to take the twig. Then he swung the twig at the three dogs in front of him, and then the dog crashed a distance of about two meters.

"Eh?"

He was again surprised by the new skill he got. He regained his confidence, then stood up.

Then, the dogs that crashed were — who was not dead was again about to attack him. Hizashi swiftly stepped forward while running.

"If you don't fight him, then you'll die, Hizashi!" he said in his heart.

He then threw the twigs back at the dogs, and they fell back two meters. They were injured, some even died.

He was breathing heavily exhausted. There were five more dogs he had to fight. The dogs are still fighting it.

"Grrh!!"

They come back snarling. Hizashi came back confidently running towards them, then threw down the twig.

The dogs died simultaneously. Hizashi almost fell. He had never fought a real monster.

The item the dog dropped was also the same. A stone-shaped and hard object that is oval. The color is a little reddish.

Back, the book opens on a Chapter II page and then adds more writing by itself, namely "High Refining (A) – Level 1" and "Heavy Quaker (A) – Level 1" .

And also on the hard cover page of the book, engraved the name "Shu Hizashi" with "Level 1".
