The Absolute Twin Magician

Kayn and I came out of Osamu's room, walking down the school corridor. Unexpectedly, our meeting only lasted for no more than a minute in the real world. We talked for almost half an hour.

   When we came out of the school building, in the front yard of the school, another bad luck approached me.

" At last we met, Zayn!"

   Hearing her voice made me lose my spirit. The two nobles who continued to be chatty in class were now standing in front of the school gate, waiting for someone.   From their expressions when they saw me, I came to know that the person they were waiting for was me.

" You're trying to avoid us, aren't you?" Elizabeth asked, walking over to me. Liliana was with him too. Argh!!! how could this kid be so familiar with a new person like me?! Although it was quite disturbing, Liliana was still calmer than him. Look, she's just shy looking at us from behind Elizabeth.

   I stopped before they got closer.

" Kayn.we find another way" I said.

" huh? Wh why? Who are they?"

" Squeaky girl in my class. It seems like they intend to disturb my calm." I replied.

" Uh? Zayn was desperate because of a woman?..." I heard his muttering. Ah, my gut feeling is bad "ah! That's so..."

   I turned to Kayn who was smiling indistinctly. What's the matter? Why is he smiling like that? Radar that I'm starting to detect something's wrong with this condition. Kayn must be up to something. I quickly turned my body back, about to escape from it.

   Eh? Something's holding me. Goddamnit! Why did this fucker even pull my hand. He started smiling, and called out to them. W-Wait damn why did you call them ?!

" Oi you guys over there!! Come here!!" His shouting.

   Motherfucker! Why can't you compromise at all?! Look, they're getting closer. There's nothing more I can do if they catch me! My escape plan failed.

" Are you Zayn's friends?" Ask in a friendly tone.

   Elizabeth and Liliana looked at me and Kayn took turns. Ah, I got it. They must think something's weird. Like "why are their faces the same?". That's what I deduce when viewed from their facial expressions.

" Wait a minute, why are there two Zayn?!" Elizabeth asked in a panic.

" Ah sorry, I haven't introduced myself" Kayn said very politely. " My name is Kayn Endarker, Zayn's twin brother "

" Twin?!"

   Somehow these two girls were so hysterical when they heard Kayn say we were twins. Have there never been twins before? Their reactions are overreacting. But wait, I got an idea.

" Yes, that's it, she's my twin sister. He's a polite man and also a good man" I said. Kayn looked at me as if hearing something disgusting "if you guys are looking for a friend, this Kayn is more suitable than me. So just take her"

   Elizabeth stared at me. I know that my words must not be accepted, but what is that expression?.

   Elizabeth frowned and grabbed my hand.

" I told you I'd teach you, right? Not brother! I won't pull my words!" He said firmly while pulling my hand. " I'm not looking for friends anyway. I want to help you make friends. T-of course it's not because I care about you, but I don't feel good about being in class with a loner like you"

   What the fuck is this kid? So annoying. His words are too blunt.

" Then we go first, we take your sister Kayn "said Elizabeth "my name is Elizabeth Bathory, sorry her introduction seemed rushed"

" It's okay! Please accompany my sister!"

" Look down, he's safe with us"

   What the fuck are you saying, Kayn?! You made me look like a kid who was dropped into kindergarten. I'm actually older than you fucking!

   Free to complain. I better follow what these two guys want to go quietly. I hope they don't do strange things.

   Elizabeth keeps pulling me. They took me deeper into the center of Bluelagoon.

" By the way Zayn is, I'm surprised you have a twin sister" Elizabeth said.

" I am too. You guys really look alike" Liliana also raised her voice, having previously timidly approached Kayn. " Even if it's just the outside..."

   Hey, that hurt my heart a little. You guys want to torture me mentally?

" Where are you taking me?" My toot.

" Of course to the city. I wanted. Show the beauty of this city to newcomers like you" Elizabeth said

" I'm not interested..."

" Calm down, I asked your sister for permission" Elizabeth said.

" You can't be so Zayn, whatever the reason you still have permission" this time Liliana told me "permission is important"

   I was so fucking unlucky today. First class is a mess. Both encounters with Osamu were troublesome. And now I have to hear their chatter. Ah, I'm so sorry I tried to kill Zatrox.

" You can call me Elie, instead I'll keep calling you Zayn." Elizabeth said "you can also call Liliana with Liana anyway"

" Isn't it a problem? Such a nickname was only spoken by a close friend right? You even only knew me a few hours ago.."

" T-familiar friends? Is that really so?" Elizabeth asked "then I don't mind.After all, we also plan to be your best friends, right?"

   I kept staring at him. His words just now sounded so sincere. He really wants to be friends with me. How good is someone like me? If you want to be friends, just do it with Kayn. Yes, even if I protest so they won't hear me either. I let out a breath.

" Huh, I'll do it" I replied. For some reason my heart suddenly moved to fulfill his request. "... Elie.. It's really like this, right?"

   Elizabeth's face flushed red when I called her Elie. She somehow looked embarrassed and happy.

" I thought it best not to" I said.

" N-no, just call me Elie! Please!" Her request. 

" But before that, may I ask you something?"

" asked? About what?"

" In fact, why do you insist on being friends with me?" Much

   Hearing my question, Elie kept silent. This is a question I've been holding for a long time. But Elie did not answer. And apparently, Liana doesn't know anything. It's purely Elie's wish. Liana just followed what Elie did. What the hell does this mean? I need answers.

" Oi Elie, answer my question"

" It's just about the past..." Answer irent.

" Return?" Honestly, I'm very confused. What does the past mean?

" I said I'd be friends with you, I don't need a reason to be your friend. You just have to follow what I'm saying, okay?"

   Elie hurriedly changed the topic. I'm getting a little confused. At least don't give half the information. If you don't want to tell me you don't have to answer!  You got me thinking! The thoughts of others' feelings are selfish nobles!.

   Elie hurriedly looked away and continued walking. Liana was still standing next to me while smiling warmly.

" Don't worry, Elie might have a bad past. But he really wants to be friends with you. You don't have to doubt it. Trust me" Liana said

" Yes, at least tell me why"

" Zayn, you should know . Everyone has a side that no one else wants to see. Everyone has their own secrets. And so is Elie. You have to know that side boundary "he said "understand?"

   Following Elizabeth's steps, I was led to the power of the city of Bluelagoon. In the afternoon today, everyone still looks crowded, especially in city parks and shopping areas. These girls just keep coming to the store after store that catches their attention. Naturally, as nobles they are certainly not afraid of running out of money. All day long I was forced to accompany peacocks around the city, shopping, and seeing things I had never seen before. And I'm getting used to this.

   And somehow, I started to like this activity. I did go around town with Kayn when we were taken care of by Oliver, but it's never been this fun. Doing this with others feels so different. I don't know what makes it different. I enjoyed it a little.

   It doesn't feel like the day is getting dark. We need to get home soon

" It looks like we've just got here" Liana said "it's almost night..."

" Right too, so glad I forgot the time "reply Elie smiled cheerfully. This time he looked back at me, still smiling "well Zayn, how? Did you enjoy it?"

   I scratched my head that was not itchy at all while turning my face away.

" Well, I admit, it's pretty good" I replied a little embarrassed. This is contrary to what I thought before. " I do this a lot with Kayn.but it's never been this fun..."

   Elie smiled with satisfaction as she brought her face closer to mine. I'm a little surprised. From this close distance, I just realized that Elie is actually a very beautiful girl. His face looked like a full moon shining brightly in the dark of night.

" I told you, didn't I? Having friends is not bad" he said.

   Elie pointed her index finger at me, smiling proudly.

" It's your first lesson Zayn" he said, "the number one: friendship can make something ordinary extraordinary. That's the miracle of being together"

   Iunderstood it. I've felt it too. I can't deny that. This time Elie extended her hand to me.

" Nah Zayn, with all this do you want to be friends with us?"

   He did all this just so I could be friends with him. I'm impressed. It turns out that nobles are reckless people huh.

" Elie, don't think I don't know anything about friendship. Only by doing all this do you think you can easily make that person your friend? You wrong. If you want someone to be your friend, then you need to earn their trust..." I said at length. Elie and Liana were stunned looking at me. I smiled ". ..and congratulations, you've got it. I think I can trust you"

   Suddenly, both of their faces were radiant. Elie then approached, closer than before and clasped tightly onto my hand.

" So that means you want to be friends with us?" Ask

" What else if it wasn't!" Reply with the question "yes... Thank you for today Elie, Liana..."

   And officially, from now on I become friends with both of them . What an unexpected thing for this Zayn The Monster.

   The door to my house opened, Kayn didn't lock it at all. I went in and found Kayn asleep at the study table, with a book open in front of her face.

" Oi Kayn, get up" I said shaking her body.

" ah... You're home, Zayn..." Reply Kayn half-sleepy "how's the date? Running smoothly?"

" It's not a date!! What the hell are you doing anyway? Read another book?"

" Of course. What else is it?"

   Yes, that's how Kayn .90% of his life is reading and reading. Boring once.

" You should be looking for other activities besides reading open Kayn. Reading a book for a lifetime is boring" I said.

" Just because you had fun with two girls, you have no right to advise me" Kayn replied. "Other than that, are you aware of it Zayn?"

" Aware what?" My toot.

   The room we were in was silent.

" There's something weird about that girl's body." he continued.

" Elizabeth?"

" No, the other girl "

   The other girl, that means Liana. What's wrong with him?

" You know my holy detection magic, right?" Ask Kayn. I'm nodding. Of course I know that. " Not a single dark magic has escaped my sight"

" You want to tell me that there's dark magic on her body?"

" It's not just ordinary dark magic..." He said "it's a curse of the Devil"

   I'm appalled. Devil's Curse. It was a curse that could turn the host he was in into a demon. But a demon born from a demonic curse is no ordinary demon. His strength could have been on par with a demon king, and even worse, it was likely that the demon born was stronger than a demon king. And now Liana is the owner of the curse? That would be very dangerous.

" Then, can you neutralize it?"

" My magic can't neutralize magic that hasn't been activated yet. I might be able to neutralize it when the curse is active, but it's too risky. " the answer.

   If it's like this, I know exactly what we should do.

" So.we need to get her to Stephanie's lady at the park?" My toot.

" That's the only way, but we have a problem here..." Reply Kayn. " We can't go to headquarters until we have news to let us go back"

" That's true..." Mumbles.

" Of course we won't deliver it now" he continued, "as long as the curse isn't active, it's completely harmless."

" I see it..."

   Kayn kept looking at me. I started to feel like he was planning someone for me. Ah, how else.

" Well, you want me to protect her, right?" I asked "i'll do it"

" Yup, my sister is quick to respond. Though a bit stupid"

" Oi, watch your mouth!"

   Kayn laughed at my reaction. Really annoying sister.

" By the way Zayn is, you're more submissive. Did that girl change your attitude?"

" Chey, it's none of your business"

" Oh, fall in love again..."

" Who's in fucking love?!" I said, "I want to sleep, good night!!"

" Don't be Zayn, a guy like you needs a girl's true love"

" Noisy!!"

 

  Stupid time with him. I'm not one to fall in love that easily. Besides, I'm not the kind of person to accept love from a girl like her.
