Kayn sighed. I just silently watched as Kayn was about to explain everything to Liana. He started this thing, he's responsible

" Well Liana...Do you know a creature called the Devil?" Kayn asked starting an explanation.

" demons? What kind of creatures are they?"

" They are bloodthirsty creatures. Their minds were already affected by black magic. Some are human, and some are "queen Kayn" monsters, they usually go out and destroy a settlement, prey on humans, take everything they have. The goal is to satisfy themselves..."

" Are they like vampires?" Ask Liana.

" When it's about the crimes, they're the same" Kayn replied.

" What is their relationship with you?"

   Kayn sighed again. This is the second time.

" Ki is a group of assassins who specifically exterminate the Devils. A secret organization called Magic Assosiation." He replied "The Magic Knight No 12 The Holy, Kayn Endarker"

" The Magic Knight No 13 The Monster, Zayn Endarker..." I said as I sat in the corner of this room "what is our explanation enough Liana?"

   Liana still silently looked at us. It seems knowing our work will make him turn to hate us. No one wants to live with a murderer.

   But my estimate was wrong. Instead, Liana instead accepted us enthusiastically.

" It was great "he said admiringly "you guys did that to protect others. To maintain the peace of the city and the state. It's like a hero. That's amazing"

" Even if you say that, we are still murderers, we are not good people who can live quietly" Kayn said. We are murderers, no matter how good we are, murderers are murderers.

" No, while you're doing it with good intentions, you're not a bad person. While it's true that you're still murderers, you're not bad killers. You do good without anyone else knowing. You're protecting other people, while the people you're protecting don't know who crossed them. That's an amazing thing." Liana said with a big smile. Kayn fell silent and smiled. I don't understand the way this girl thinks. He's so innocent.

   Liana smiled. We were silent for a moment.

   Kayn breathed a third time. We started to get into our main topic.

" Liana, the devil has several levels. Starting from the weakest are ordinary demons, they are ordinary humans who turn into demons because of the dark emotions that so much control their minds. Then, warriors, ordinary demons were strengthened with magic and weapons. Then general, the leader of the demon army. Then Lord, and the strongest among them is the emperor or we used to call the Demon King. In addition, there is one demon that we separate from that demon level. Because of his unpredictable power. Sometimes they were weak, and in some cases, their abilities were as strong as a demon king, even stronger." Obviously Kayn "we call it, Satan curses.the devil is born from the curse of the devil..."

   Liana fell silent. It was like he realized something. I can see it from the expression on his face. He looked like he heard something familiar in his ear.

" We've been aware of it from the beginning. We've been watching you lately." Kayn said seriously. Liana was silent petrified "on your body, there is a dangerous curse.The devil's curse"

   Liana slightly jerked. Silence says nothing

" I don't know "he answered softly. Kayn and I quietly listened, "I don't know how that thing could be in my body.it's been in my body for a long time.I don't know..."

   Unexpectedly, Liana shed her tears. This is the first time I've seen Liana, who is usually strong and always smiling, crying. He was crying sobbing.

" I already know about it. I already know about the curse. It's a curse that can turn me into a monstrous creature that you call the devil.I know that I will eventually experience this. There's nothing I can do... No one can get rid of it..." Said Liana sobbing "have you come because of the curse? If it is true forgive me.please stop this suffering I am experiencing.Kill me, if this curse is active.other people will be in danger, and I can also trouble you.but if I die, if I die, the curse will disappear, right? I don't want anyone else to suffer just because of me. So please kill me..."

" You're great ..dare to sacrifice yourself so that others you don't know can live safely.I'm impressed with you Liana..."

   Immediately Kayn approached Liana's body and immediately hugged her tightly. Liana was surprised by Kayn's sudden movements, as was mine. I don't know why he could be so brave.

   Cuddled by Kayn, Liana cried out loud. He continued to cry and Kayn happily accepted all the sadness that Liana had been carrying all along. A truly unexpected event.

   Ever since that night, Liana and Kayn have gotten closer. Liana became more and more confident with the feelings she had for Kayn. The love-filled affection of a noble girl named Liliana Rossweis.

" Eh?! Right one?!" Elie asked a little whisper. He glanced at Liana who was currently chatting with Kayn in front of the class. " So Liana really likes Kayn?"

" Yes, that's the truth "my answer "is good news, Kayn gladly accepted Liana's feelings. He just needs the courage to start a relationship"

" j-so...Kayn wants to accept Liana if Liana expresses her feelings to Kayn? That's what you mean?" Ask Elie.

" Yes, that's how "my answer is" because he's your best friend, you better give him a push to get him to do that "

" Leave it to me" replied Elie. Somehow he became more cheerful and excited after hearing from me.

   Well, I think there's two reasons why he's so happy. The first reason is that he is happy because his best friend's feelings are avenged. As a friend, he would definitely be happy if Liana was happy

   Second reason, this is the reason I don't like. If what Liana said at the time was true, about Elie secretly liking me hearing that Liana as the only girl besides herself who was close to me liked Kayn, she said, that means he has no more rivals to approach me. That's good news for him

   But I agree more with the first reason. It's more logical that they're really best friends. The second reason is just my thinking.

" But keep this a secret from Liana. He could have scolded me back" I said .

" Look down, your secret is safe with me"

   Our daily lives are going as they should. Elie still nags at me a lot, of course, on topics related to friendship. Liana often steals the opportunity to see or talk to Kayn. And of course Kayn was not bothered. But underneath it all, I'm starting to feel something weird. Slowly I felt uncomfortable. Like someone was stalking us.

   First thing, when I went to town with Elie and Liana as usual. I've often seen the same people around us. It looks like we're watching. Even so, I could not notice his presence. I can only rely on the sharpness of my eyes.

   Second, every time we split up and were about to return home. I purposely sent a clone to watch over Liana and Elie's residence which happened to be close to each other. There, another suspicious person was watching Liana's residence.

   From those two events, I can deduce the current condition. The demons had already found information about the demon curse on Liana's body. But how did they know? There's no time to think about it. Our time is getting narrow. It was only a matter of days left, those demons would definitely launch their attacks.

   And when we let our guard down, something bad happened.

Kayn muttered to himself. The sound of the rain was a little disturbing his learning. We had no activities at home, just sitting in the front room chair. It's been a week since that night, and four days after suspicious people watched our moves.

    On the sidelines of the rain, there was the sound of knocking on the door ahead. A girl's voice called us.

" Kay! Zay! Please open the door!"

   This voice, this is Elie's voice. What's he doing all these nights, rain anyway? Without a second thought, I immediately opened the door and brought her in. His condition is soaking wet. Breath snuffling.
