Chase Argonauts

In this difficult situation, we are faced with two simple choices.

The first choice, surrender myself willingly, and with that Aoi can go on the run.

While the second choice, is a choice that is only chosen by people who are desperate, or people who are very confident in their abilities. Fight until one of us all loses.

To be honest, I don't believe the words of these two vampires, even though the vampire guy named Chase seems to hold a promise. But still, I thought they would do something sneaky.

If I chose the first choice and let Aoi go, there was no guarantee that either of them would break their promise and attack Aoi off guard.

And if I choose the second option, I'm not sure we can win.

"Well, which one did you choose?"

An idea came to my brain. This is a very risky idea. But I'm sure it's capable of beating them. I think I'm supposed to trust those two vampires.

"... All right, I'll turn myself in." My speech. And of course that made aoi shocked. "I give up, therefore let Aoi go."

"The wise choice."

"W-what did you say Zayn?!!"

As I thought, Aoi definitely did not accept this choice.

"Listen to me Aoi, I'll hold them both. You go and get Kayn and Shiki here." My whisper. "I'll hold them as I can."

"I can't take that! You think I'll let you sacrifice yourself?!"

"Aoi, I have no other choice. If we run away now they will easily catch up to us. If we ask for help openly they will certainly not stay silent...." Whisper again. "Please, trust me, Aoi. Even if I fail, I can at least save one person."

Aoi turned around and ran as fast as she could to leave us. And as I thought, these vampires couldn't possibly keep their promises.

Vience darted after Aoi, moving very quickly without the slightest sound.

And I, who had predicted this, immediately appeared behind Aoi, resisting Vience's attack with both hands. I clasped Vience's arm tightly, letting Aoi go safely.

"Well, how else."

Without me noticing Vience throwing me at Chase with all her might. With that power, I darted incessantly and then crashed into the wall of the school building. Vience stopped chasing after Aoi, until Aoi finally vanished invisible to my eyes.

"Well, let's start dinner."

"Heh, I'm sorry. If you're that hungry you still have to try harder." My speech.

I jumped up, popping out a pair of monster wings and hands. I also immediately used a strengthening magic.

"It looks like that special meal does require a bit of a struggle." Chase.

"Fufu, you're right Chase...."

Once again Vience appeared before me preparing with both hands. I was in a hurry to move away. On the other hand, Chase showed up after me. His speed wasn't as fast as Vience's, but his physical strength was above Vience's. With a single slap kick on my arm, my body instantly crashed easily into the wall. It feels so painful, their strength and speed is really not playing.

Being resisted by two noble vampires, my life is really in danger. I'm not sure how long it will last in this situation, but at least I can measure the time before Shiki and Kayn arrive. I'm sure with the abilities of both of them, these two vampires we can definitely defeat. But the problem is how much longer I can hold on.

Vience moved attacking while circling around me. Chase didn't let me attack in the least. Their combination of attacks was so perfect. The attack from Vience is so fast, plus Chase's defense is also solid. They're a really dangerous duo.

I tried my hardest to attack them. With my right hand in the form of a monster, a hard punch poured into Chase. And just like before, Chase easily held it back. He resisted my attack with his bare hands covered in a blood-red aura. Even so, my strength was able to make him crash backwards.

At the same time, Vience was flying towards my back. In response to his movements, my hard wings appeared sticking out toward him. Of course it made Vience evade. And as long as he was still in the air, I darted about to attack him.

However, I made a pretty fatal mistake.

Chase, who I thought was injured in my attack, was back on the move. Because my instinct felt danger from her, I undo the intention of chasing after Vience and turned to look at Chase. And without me noticing, Vience had already appeared behind me shaking her hand against my back. It made me scream in pain, and panic. And at the same time, Chase darted a hard punch to my stomach. My body immediately shot backwards.

Vience shrewdly caught my foot in the air, then with all her might threw my body to the ground. I lost consciousness for a moment due to that loud bang. On awakening, Chase had held my body to the ground. And Vience bowed to my face. Their gazes were filled with bloodlust.

"Give up. You can't do anything." Chase.

Ugh, my body hurts. My mouth can't say anything anymore. My consciousness is also fading.

"Good meal!!!"

Vience stuck both fangs in my neck. An agonizing pain instantly filled my veins. My body immediately became so weak. There's no energy left. It was as if I was paralyzed by his bite.

Amidst my despair, a bullet shot into Vience's arm. After that, several bullets appeared again shooting at the two of them. Those surprised ones immediately moved back, releasing my neck from Vience's bite. A few moments after that, they finally appeared.

"Hold Zayn!!!"

"Zay!!!"

The voice of the two girls who called my name was the last sound that came into my ear just before I completely lost consciousness.
