Today is the day Sarah promised Kean to take Kean to the village to meet Damar, her father.
"Amma, Kean is looking forward to meeting his father and grandmother" Kean told Sarah, who was tidying up her clothes.
Sarah invites Kean to go to the village to wait for Sunday. So Kean didn't have to skip school to see his dad.
"How are you feeling right now, son?" asked Sarah.
"I deg-degan, amma. Actually Kean is also afraid." Kean replied.
"Fear?, afraid of why?" asked Sarah, stopping her hand that was tidying Kean's collar.
"Kean was afraid that his father and grandmother would not meet Kean, amma." Kean replied as he lowered his head with a sad look on his face.
"Where might you do that to your own child?" Sarah said.
"Kean should not have such bad thoughts on father and grandmother. They are good people who love Kean like amma, akung and uti." continued Sarah assures Kean, even though his own heart is not sure of it. Considering Damar and Linda's treatment of Sarah long ago.
Kean nodded his head, as if understanding what his amma was saying.
"But amma promised to accompany Kean when she met him" Kean said.
"It must be a pity." answered Sarah.
"Now that everything is in order, we wait for Aunt Lidya who will pick us up after this." continued Sarah.
"That means we're there in Aunt Lidya's car, amma?" asked Kean.
"Yes, honey. Kan Aunty Lidya who knows father's house in the village." replied Sarah.
A few minutes until Sarah and Kean wait for Lidya's arrival.
Kean's heart was impatient, because Lidya never came. There is anxiety in Sarah's heart, Sarah is worried that Lidya will not take Kean to go to the village to meet her father and grandmother.
Sarah immediately sent a short pean to inquire about Lidya's current whereabouts.
"How amma?, has the short message amma been answered by Aunt Lidya?" asked Kean who was already very upset.
"No, yet" Sarah replied as she shook her head.
"Maybe Aunt Lidya is on her way here, so she can't reply to the amma message." continued Sarah comforted her child who looked even sadder after hearing Sarah's answer.
"We pray yuk, let Aunt Lidya survive until here "Sarah tries to divert Kean's grief.
Kean immediately closed his eyes and raised both of his hands, and Kean began to pray in his heart.
So did Sarah, she did the same with Kean.
And now they both finished praying, with together Sarah and Kean rubbed his face with both palms each.
"Amma, pity Kay." said Kean suddenly.
"Kay?" asked Sarah who was a little surprised, because Kean suddenly told her about the Veni child.
"Why does Kean feel sorry for Kay?" asked Sarah quietly.
"Mommy and Papi Kay are no longer living together. And it must be Kay's heart right now like Kean's." Kean replied.
"why is Kay's heart like Kean's? What happened to Kean's heart?" asked Sarah, who was a little clueless about what her son said.
"Kean's heart is sad, when friends at Kean's school tell him happiness with his father. But Kean never felt like he was living with me." said Kean, lowering his head.
"Now Kay felt what Kean was feeling, amma. Pity him." muttered Kean.
"Prophey, son. Amma is sure that happiness will come to you soon." Sarah said in her heart as she shed her tears.
Sarah immediately hugged Kean's body, to calm him down.
"But now Kean is not sad anymore amma. Because soon Kean will meet his father Kean." chirped Kean with a smile full of happiness.
Tin tin tin tin...!!
The sound of a car horn in front of Sarah's house.
"Sarah, it looks like it's the sound of Lidya's car horn" said Sarah's mother.
"Yes, Mom. Let Sarah see first." replied Sarah, standing and walking to the window. And Sarah peeked out from behind the curtains.
It turns out true what his mother said, in front is the sound of Lidya's car.
"Yeah, baby we're leaving. Aunt Lidya has already picked us up." take Sarah out with her hand.
Kean immediately grabbed Sarah's hand and held it tightly. Then they walked along.
"Be careful Sarah, may all Kean's wishes come true" said Sarah's mother.
They walk together to Lidya's car, which is parked in front of Sarah's house.
"Kean can't wait to see his father, Amma" Kean said with a blissful look.
"We pray yes, may the journey this time smoothly reach the place of father." said Sarah.
Kean nodded his head while smiling at Sarah.
"Are you ready, ma'am?" asked Lidya when Sarah and Kean were near Lidya's car.
"We're ready, Lid. Kean can't wait to see his father" replied Sarah.
"Prophey dear, soon we will meet with father." said Lidya with a sweet smile on Kean.
Lidya realized that her behavior all this time to Sarah was wrong. Now Lidya wants to penetrate all his mistakes on Sarah and Kean by bringing Kean with Damar.
Sarah sat in the front seat next to Lidya, while Kean sat behind Sarah.
Now the car they were riding was traveling at a speed towards the village where Damar lived all this time. Which turns out to be still a village with Sarah.
"Amma, when do we get to her?," whined Kean who had begun to be saturated with the journey they took.
"Please, soon we'll be there." replied Lidya persuaded Kean.
"Are we close?" asked Kean again.
"Yes, we're halfway there, baby." replied Lidya, continuing to focus on the road ahead.
"Tante, can we stop at the minimarket?" asked Kean.
"Can dong, we find the minimarket first." replied Lidya.
"Why do you want what?, why look for a minimarket?" asked Sarah.
"Kean wants to buy dad and grandma food, amma. Kasian dad, there must be no minimarket" Kean replied.
"All right." answered Sarah.
Lidya continued to focus on finding minimarkets along the road to the village of Damar stay.
"kok Kean don't see any minimarkets here huh, Auntie?" asked Kean.
"Please, son, soon there will be." replied Lidya.
Sarah smiled happily, looking at the attitude of Lidya who had received Kean well.
"How are you doing now with your husband, Lid?," asked Sarah, who was curious about Lidya's situation after a fight with Ambar's husband Teguh.
"I have driven you out of your house, madam. Mas Teguh play women behind me." replied Lidya.
