SUFFERING WITH IN-LAWS

SUFFERING WITH IN-LAWS
#330

When she got home, Sarah invited Kean to lunch. While eating together, Sarah deliberately did not ask anything that was happening to Kean.

Because, Sarah was afraid that if she asked in this sad condition, it would make her mind more depressed.

Sarah will wait until Kean tells her himself what happened to her now.

While eating, Kean did not seem to be doing well.

His gloomy face was still clearly visible. And eating it is also not as delicious as usual.

Sarah was getting anxious seeing Kean's current state. Inevitably, Sarah had to ask about the thing the little boy had in mind.

"Kean, do not like the same amma cuisine?," asked Sarah to open a conversation between the child and the mother.

"Kean likes cooking, amma. But.., Kean did not continue his talk, he again lowered his head.

"But why, son?. If Kean has a problem with a friend, Kean can tell Amma. Who knows amma can help Kean." said Sarah little by little persuaded Kean to tell him.

However, as already. Kean just kept quiet and didn't want to tell a story.

"But, if Kean is still not ready to tell Amma, amma doesn't really mean it. Provided, Ken wants to spend the rice on Kean's plate." said Sarah with a sweet smile while pointing to a plate containing rice and all the dishes Kean likes.

There was no answer a word from Kean's little mouth. Kean seemed to be enjoying his meal.

And that kind of calms Sarah's heart down a little. Although there is still a curiosity in Sarah to the child.

Now they both enjoyed their meal in silence. There was no conversation between mother and child. All that was heard was the sound of plates, spoons and forks colliding.

"Kean's biological father, where the hell is amma?" Kean suddenly opened his mouth, with a question that made Sarah's heart startled and beat very fast.

"Actually Kean was eager to meet father. But Kean doesn't know where you are?, and Kean has forgotten what kind of father's face is." he said again in a soft and very clear voice.

Has not recovered from the shock and the heart is racing with the questions raised by his son. Now Sarah must again stroke the chest, when she heard the statement of her son.

Sarah's heart was devastated to see the sadness that was in Kean's heart. Not even her tears fell on her cheeks.

"Amma, why are you crying?" asked Kean.

"Is amma sad, because Kean asked about dad?" asked Kean again with a frightened face.

Kean was afraid, his mama would get angry, as he wondered about the whereabouts of his father.

Very quickly, Sarah wiped away her tears. He saw fear on Kean's face.

"Did Kean want to meet with dad?" asked Sarah in a stifled voice, as she held back tears. Sarah doesn't want to cry anymore in front of Kean.

"Did Amma allow Kean to meet with dad?" asked Kean who dared not look Sarah in the eye.

"Why did Kean ask like that?" asked Sarah.

"Kean is afraid that Amma will be angry with Kean if Kean asks to meet with his father" Kean replied.

"Kean is also afraid of amma, amma's heart is sad if Kean asks to meet with father" Kean said again by lowering his head. Kean was really afraid that Sarah would get angry about this.

Sarah was crying so much, she felt guilty for Kean. Because it should be, Sarah was the one who had to ask Kean about Kean's feelings and desire to meet his father.

Sarah forgets that Kean is growing up. So he had a desire in his mind.

After all, it was Kean's right to meet and get affection from his father.

"So Kean can meet with dad?," asked Kean by raising his face and looking into Sarah's eyes with a face that looked very happy.

Sarah nodded her head by holding back her tears from falling on her cheeks. Sarah doesn't want Kean to see himself crying, so Sarah should not cry in front of her child.

"But for now, Amma doesn't know where Damar's father is" Sarah said.

"Then?," asked Kean with his face sad again.

"But Kean doesn't have to worry. How about tomorrow we visit Aunt Lidya, and we ask Aunt Lidya where my father lives" suggested Sarah.

"Tante Lidya?" asked Kean, as he felt unfamiliar with the name.

"Yes, Aunt Lidya" Sarah replied with a smile.

"Who's aunt Lidya, amma?," asked Kean with a puzzled face.

"Tante Lidya is Kean's aunt. She is the younger sister of Damar's father." Sarah answered explaining to Lidya's silsila.

"So, Kean also has another Aunt besides Aunt Mayang?," asked Kean enthusiastically. Seen once on Kean's face implied happiness.

Sarah nodded her head, smiling. Sarah's heart returned happy when she saw her child was willing to smile widely.

"Did Kean like having two aunts?" asked Sarah.

"Likes.once, amma. Kean's days must be more exciting if Kean has two aunts." said Kean while eating again the food in front of him greedily.

"If only, Aunt Mayang was here as well. Surely Kean's days will be happier." chirps him while his hand holds his favorite crispy chicken.

"Yes, Kean finished his food. Amma wants to prepare clothes for Kean ya." said Sarah while standing from her seat.

Then Sarah took a dirty plate from her, and she put it in the sink. And now he walked to Kean's room to prepare a change of clothes.

In Kean's room, Sarah cries. He never thought that all this time, Kean harbored such a great desire in his heart. It was very eager to meet his father.

"Where are you now, mas?, your son wants to see you." murmured Sarah in her sobbing.

"If Kean can meet you later, I hope you can give a father-like affection to his son, mas!!," Sarah still continued to cry.

"Amma!!!," called Kean from the doorway of the room that Sarah had forgotten to close, so that Sarah was unaware of Kean's arrival. Kean saw Sarah crying.

"Why amma is sad?" asked Kean with footsteps closing in on Sarah, who was now sitting on the lip of Kean's bed.

"Is Amma sad that Kean wants to meet father?, ' asked Kean with a face full of sadness.
