SUFFERING WITH IN-LAWS

SUFFERING WITH IN-LAWS
#329

This afternoon Sarah picked Kean up at school. But at school, Sarah doesn't see Kay.

"Where is Kay?" asked Sarah.

"Kay, amma's gone home first" Kean replied.

"Why?, is Kay sick?" asked Sarah.

Kean shook his head, with a sad look on his face.

Sarah saw a look of sadness on Kean's face. It looks like something is going on with that friend.

"Why is Kay, son?" asked Sarah with her hands hugging Kean's body.

"Pity Kay, amma. Kay was sad. Even though Kean was comforted, Kay was still sad." Kean replied.

"Sad?, why grieve?" asked Sarah again.

But Kean kept quiet and didn't want to tell Sarah. He lowered his head. Kean won't see Sarah.

"Yes, if this smart Amma child does not want a story. Amma is not maksa, better now we go to the taxi, yuk!," Sarah asked while raising Kean's face.

"Well, why is Kean crying?" asked Sarah, who was surprised to see her child shed tears. Sarah said in her heart, "is it sad Kay, that Kean cried?,"

Then gently, Sarah's fingers wiped her tears. He didn't want to force Kean to tell a story. Because Sarah was afraid, Kean's heart grew sadder.

Now the two of them walked towards the taxi waiting in front of the school.

Kean who usually looks cheerful, this afternoon his face is very moody.

"Mother..," call ustadzah who teaches Kean every day.

Sarah turned her body to the source of the sound.

"Assalamualaikum, Miss Sarah." Ustadzah Kean said hello to Sarah.

"Waalaikumsalam, ustadzah." replied Sarah with a friendly smile on Kean's corpse.

Kean immediately held his hand and kissed the back of his ustadzah hand.

Smiling knots, then a gloomy face again appeared on the face of the little man.

"Mom, there's something I want to ask Sarah's mother. It's about Kean in class lately, ma'am." said Ustadzah Salma.

"Good ustadzah." answered Sarah.

"It's better if we talk in my room, huh, ma'am?" asked Salma.

And Sarah agreed, and now the three of them, Salma's ustadzah, Sarah and Kean, walked into Salma's room.

"Kean, Kean play games with friends. Ustadzah wants to talk first there his mama Kean." said Ustadzah Salma who squatted to align his body with Kean, while holding both shoulders Kean.

"But Kay has returned home" Kean replied with a sad face.

"Kean, it's a lot of Kean. Kean's friend here isn't just Kay. So Kean can play with other friends." refer ustadzah Salma.

And Ustadzah Salma immediately called suamah one tenan class Kean, who happened to still not be picked up by his parents.

"Damian!!," call Salma's ustadzah on that student.

"What's the ustadzah?," Damian asked in his innocent voice.

"Good ustadzah." Answer Damian.

"Kean, let's play together." take Damian.

Then Kean nodded his head, Kean joined Damian's invitation.

Now they both walk to the school garden not far from the room of the Ustadzah Salma. The two of them walked hand in hand.

"Let's Miss Sarah, let's go in." ask ustadzah Salma.

Sarah followed Salma's ustadzah in the back.

"Please sit down, Miss Sarah" Ustadzah Salma invited Sarah as her palm pointed at the chair in front of the table kerhmja ustadzah Salma.

"Thank you, ustadzah." said Sarah while sitting on the chair that had been appointed by Kean's ustadzah.

"I'll just get to the heart of the matter, ma'am. Kean wants to play with his other friends. Because the last time I saw, it seemed Kean was not in the mood to play with Damian" said Ustadzah Salma.

"Yeah, that's better. Because I'm also afraid Kean will get bored and come straight back here." replied Sarah.

Then the Salma Ustadzah recounted Kean's attitude and behavior over the past week. And worse, this morning when he entered the classroom.

Ms. Salma said, if started three days ago, Kean often daydream and dumbstruck in class.

"However, the nature of such a child is common if it is only done one or two days. However this was for a week in a row done by Kean. Even though as a homeroom teacher, I've been trying to make Kean focus on the lesson and play" said Ustadzah Salma.

"I thought Kean did it in class, probably because he didn't like the subjects I was talking about. But apparently, during the break. I see Kean daydreaming a lot, too, and not focusing on playing with his friends, Ms. Sarah. And the worst thing, I think, was when I explained about the relationship in the family. When I asked Kean about his father, he did not answer and suddenly Kean cried as much as he could." continued Salma's ustadzah explained to Sarah.

"I apologize in advance to Ms. Sarah, for presumptuously asking. Is there really a problem in the family at the moment and Kean knows it, Miss Sarah?," asked Ustadzah Salma in a cautious voice. Fearful Sarah was offended by the question asked by the Salma ustadzah.

Sarah also immediately threw a big breath, after hearing Kean's imprint question.

Then, Sarah also answered the question of Salma's ustadzah by telling me about what happened so far between her and Kean's father, Damar.

Now even Salma's ustadzah gets a little bright spot from Kean's current problem.

"Let me try to talk to Kean, ustadzah" Sarah said.

"Yes Miss Sarah, but I'm a delicate and careful mom who asks about her current feelings. Because I see Kean's day is not okay at the moment." replied the Salma Ustadzah.

"And I also ask for help, if indeed Miss Sarah already knows the answer. Tell me soon, Mom. So that I can limit what material I will give later in class." continued Ustadzah Salma.

"Good, ustadzah. I will immediately notify the ustadzah." replied Sarah.

"In that case, I say retreat ustadzah. I'm afraid Kean is bored and wants to go home soon." said Sarah.

Then Sarah shook hands with Salma's ustadzah, and immediately came out of Kean's room. Why rush out?, because now Sarah's heart is not calm, after hearing the story of Salma's ustadzah who is none other than Kean's homeroom teacher.

And what Sarah feared happened,. It turned out Kean was sitting on the floor right in front of Salma's room.

"Kean?!," called Sarah as she approached the boy.

"Why is Kean here?, wasn't Kean playing with Damian, Kean's classmate?" asked Salma's ustadzah who knew Kean was sitting on the porch of his room.

"Kean bored, Amma. Kean wants to go home soon." whined Kean.

Sarah immediately took her son home. He did not want if the mind and mental of his son was depressed and sad to be in this school.
