Chapter 27 [Baekhyun's Eyes 5]

"What do you want to talk about, Mr Lee?" baekhyun asked as he walked towards the sofa where Chairman Lee and Manager Yoo were waiting for him. The man sighed for a while before finally landing his body on the sofa.

"Explain everything to me, why did you get to be with a girl and why are you in Canada now?!" exciting Hangeum. His already sinister face was now even more sinister due to the anger that enveloped him.

"I'm here for a vacation." Baekhyun answered lazily but his eyes were very sharp staring at Hangeum.

"You promised me only in London and you went here without telling me?! Do you know of a lot of news going around that is endangering the agency because of you?!"

Baekhyun threw away his gaze. Really, he's careless now.

"And you, as the manager why don't you forbid Baekhyun from going here, huh?! It's a good thing I'm on a business trip here so I can go see him!" snapped the Hangeum to Sangjin who sighed heavily.

"Don't blame Manager Yoo. He's innocent in this. I forced him to come here!" baekhyun replied, which started to get emotional because Hangeum scolded Sangjin.

Hangeum rubbed his rough face and held back an angry growl, "You should go back to Korea, now!"

"I don't want to,"

"Baekhyun," said Sangjin.

"I still want to be here. I'm not ready to sing anymore,"

"Aren't you ready to say?! Explain to me why this video is going!" hangeum shouted again while throwing his phone on the table. Baekhyun held his breath when he saw the video singing in Hyesung's cafe.

"Do you have to come back or do I need to threaten you?" asked Hangeum cynically.

Baekhyun tried to calm down when he heard that. He was used to threats, but no longer after hearing about his relationship with Sohyun.

"I'm going to find the identity of the girl you're with and spread it to social media. Your fanatical fans must have done anything to terrorize the girl. He's a nobody, Baekhyun. It's easy for me to destroy it" said Hangeum, causing Baekhyun to ride a black hole. The man stood up to beat the Hangeum if Sangjin did not hold him back.

"Baekhyun, already! Calm yourself!" sangjin said as she held back Baekhyun's body that shook with anger.

"Never touch that girl!" exclaim Baekhyun.

Hangeum chuckled, "I won't touch it, if you want to go home to Korea and get back to work."

"Fuck up!"

"Cube you five minutes from now to make a decision. Stay here, or go back to Korea!"

Baekhyun sat down, emotions made his body tired. His eyes were red and his breath was breathless. His hand clenched tightly and if it had not been held, it would have landed on the face of the annoying Hangeum.

The man closed his eyes and took a deep breath. For Sohyun's sake, he had to do it.

"I'll be back in Korea, tomorrow afternoon."

Baekhyun was upset, really. He could not imagine his life without Sohyun anymore this time. Returning to Korea and working is not what Baekhyun wants to do. In the afternoon, he cleaned his clothes with the help of Sangjin. He looks depressed.

"I'm sorry, Baekhyun. I can't help the man" Sangjin said with a sigh and stuffed some clothes into Baekhyun's suitcase.

Baekhyun who had just sat quietly holding his favorite scarf turned to his manager. He himself felt bad for Sangjin for trying to protect her. The manager could be threatened with dismissal.

"Now it's ten in less than fifteen minutes. You don't want to go see that girl?" ask Sangjin.

Baekhyun was still silent, in fact he hesitated as well.

"Go away. Tomorrow you'll be separated. I can help you clean up this huge amount of equipment" Sangjin said with a smile. Baekhyun finally got up and got ready.

"Thank you, Manager Yoo," Baekhyun said and went to Sohyun's apartment. Yoo Sangjin just sighed then shortly afterwards he smiled.

"Ah, you young man,..."

The man woke up from his sleep at seven in the morning and his plane was leaving at eleven in the afternoon. Suddenly it came to his head something he had to do before he came home. Slowly he got out of Sohyun's apartment without waking the girl up, and went to the bookstore. The morning was still a little quiet, and the sky was not as bright as he had imagined. The cold air was indeed piercing even though Baekhyun was already wearing thick clothes. He did not expect that in a city like this, the air was still awake.

Baekhyun finds the bookstore he saw with Sohyun at the time, and he sees the book still on display in the storefront.

Baekhyun smiled because the bookstore had just opened and of course the book had not been sold. Soon he bought it and headed for Hyesung's cafe. His cousin also lives upstairs from the cafe.

"Ofo, Baekhyun! Tumben once you got here early in the morning?!" hyesung was surprised after waking up. Baekhyun sighed, his cousin was always surprising. Where is a girl who would open the door for a guest with her hair and face conditioned? A girl will at least tidy up her appearance first if a guest arrives! It was fortunate that he had come, if anyone else, Baekhyun was confident that his cousin would be single for a long time. The man walked into the cafe.

"Do you have a gift box, as well as a pen and paper?" ask Baekhyun. Hyesung sighed and picked up a gift box that looked good from near his cashier's desk, then gave it to Baekhyun. So was the paper and pen that Baekhyun asked for.

Hyesung noticed Baekhyun who started writing something on the paper.

"What's wrong?" ask Hyesung. Baekhyun fell silent and did not reply, the man was still focused on his activities. The girl understood and sat down before Baekhyun while looking out. Sunlight slowly appeared behind the horizon.

"Give this to Sohyun," said Baekhyun suddenly breaking the silence. Hyesung raised his eyebrows.

"Why don't you give it to him directly?"

Baekhyun smiled faintly, but saw a wound there. The girl is a person of taste and she realizes there are problems faced by her cousin and the girl.

"Is there a problem?" ask Hyesung.

"Please give this to her, if I've hurt her too much."

"What do you want to do? You want to cheat, huh?!" hyesung was getting angry. Sohyun's matters are very sensitive to Baekhyun's cousin. He really likes Sohyun.

"I've never dated her" Baekhyun replied.

"I assume you're already dating,"

"I want to marry her, right away,"

Hyesung widened his eyes in surprise at Baekhyun's words, while the man was just calm, smiling faintly at the book he had put into the gift box.

"Please, give it to him, if it's true that I hurt his heart" Baekhyun said again with a sigh.

Stuffy.

That was what Baekhyun felt, and his feelings culminated when he brought Sohyun into his arms because he was about to return to Korea. The man rubbed Sohyun's back gently while holding back his tears as well which might spill over.

"I will miss you, Sohyun," whispered Baekhyun softly, trying to master his emotions. Really, he didn't lie about that sentence.

Baekhyun let go of his embrace after Manager Yoo interrupted them and reminded them of their departure. He walks with his suitcase and leaves Sohyun. For the first time, Baekhyun felt empty when walking towards a plane like this. The move came to a slow halt and he saw the plane that was about to take him back to Korea.

"What's up, Baekhyun?" ask Manager Yoo. The teary-eyed man actually did not have the heart to see Baekhyun like this. While Chairman Lee had already walked first to the plane.

"Manager Yoo, promise me," said Baekhyun. Sangjin silently did not answer what Baekhyun said, but he listened.

"Please promise me to protect Sohyun no matter what happens if I can't, Manager Yoo. Know it? I love her so much."
