Reborn As A Haier-Elvian: The Blood Hunter And The Warlock (Replace To New Account)
Chapter 05 "World Juiller part 02"

In a small, damp and low-light room, I sat on a hard and fragile wooden chair. The four legs are not the same length, my body repeatedly swayed when I wanted to change position. An uneasy feeling and fear enveloped this heart. Not because of the roaring aura of the rows of weapons displayed throughout the walls, or the squeaks of rodents on the ceiling that could have fallen at any time. But because of the existence of the big man sitting behind the table in front of me.

Both hands were placed on the table. As if deliberately showing off a set of perfectly formed muscles from above the shoulder to down the arm. Singlet clothes that he wears add a sexy impression despite his age of fifty years. His mustache and beard are the biggest sources of his intimidation. Make anyone who sees the man salute him. Sure oes. Because he's Grussel, head of the city's greatest 'Dark Night' hunting team. The existence of this team of hunters is a secret. Only a tiny bit of people know about this. As for most people, Grussel is revered as a former royal warlord.

His eyes looked at me calmly, yet deadly. If the look in the eye could kill someone, I might have died a hundred times since.

The man slowly raised both hands to support his chin. "Igresti had already conveyed this to me. But I want to hear it directly from you. Anggie ...." His voice was heavy and there was a slight emphasis on tone when saying my name. "What was on the hunt last night you messed up?"

I immediately threw a glance at Igresti who was sitting at the side, the damned man looked back at me cynically. At the end of his lips was a sly smile, clearly aimed at me.

"Basic rancid bastard! He seems to have a personal vendetta against me. If so, get it done personally. Not by dropping me like this!" I swear in my heart.

At once Grussel also cleared his throat. He said he was waiting for an answer that came from my mouth. How'this? Igresti did have a big mouth, I'm sure he added another spicy spice to his story to Boss. But the thing that cannot be denied is that the core of the problem is purely because of my mistakes.

Sweat pours out drop by drop from my forehead. Her intimidation was great, leaving me shrouded in fear. These lips cannot speak. Even the eyes cannot see. Just waiting for the time to end. Until finally Dimas who had been standing at the side, touched my shoulder. Giving a glimmer of warmth to get rid of the remains in the heart. His eyes are soft on me. A faint smile appeared on his face.

"Boss! I know Anggi made a mistake. Exactly what Igresti said. I must admit, a stupid mistake. But can you forgive him?" dimas said in a firm voice. Which isn't even consumed by the crazy bullying the boss is putting out.

Grussel glanced his eyes at the man who opposed him. "You ... want to be a hero to him? You think that'll solve everything?"

"Of course not. But please consider, considering we haven't been in this world for long. There are certainly a lot of things we don't know. So, I beg your wisdom!"

"You know? I hate failure."

The muscular old man looked furious. Stand him from his throne, a fragile reot chair inedible with age. The sound of knocking could be heard echoing in this narrow room as he walked closer. Sangar's eyes. Like ready to punch anyone who gets in his way. Grussel stopped right in front of Dimas.

He saw a young and dashing man who stood before him from top to bottom. After that he smiled wryly.

"You may be right. I know what it's like to be in a place I've never been to. When I was a soldier, I was assigned with my platoon members to infiltrate the Green Continent." As his voice was restrained, he continued walking slowly around the two of us.

"The forest there is very different from the one I know. The trees walk like men, the trees that dance. I could have sworn it was the strangest place I've ever seen. As a result, not many of my platoon survived. When facing an enemy, information is the main weapon. How many enemies you have, how tough they are, what weapons they have. So remember this if you want to be a tough fighter." Grussel put his hand over Dimas' shoulder. His look at my friend was deep, as if to instill his thoughts in others. "Be aware of the intricacies of your enemies first before conquering them. I hope this is a lesson for you guys."

"Ready, Boss!" answer Dimas respectfully. While I say without saying a word. Throw a smile at him.

"But ...."

Grussel then looked over. A second later, he immediately grabbed my face with his hand. His large palm allowed the old man to grasp my face. The power he gives is unmitigated. Once again he strengthened his grasp, my head must have been blown to pieces.

I groan in pain. "Again, Boss! Didn't you forgive me?"

"When did I say I would forgive you?"

"But those were your words—."

Suddenly I was silent. My ears are still working fine. Even better than the people here. Everything sounds clear. Of all his words, no one said he would forgive me. I was fooled by his last words. Grussel also uttered it in a low, melancholy tone. So I thought he understood what I was doing.

If so, does that mean he'll still punish me? Oh shit! I was the fool who was excited first. The old bastard did not take his hand off me despite being held back by Dimas. He seemed intent on smashing my skull. You are truly without mercy! Goddamnit! Resistance is futile. My strength is not comparable to her. My kicks and punches may be just a little boy's tickle to him. My breath is so tight. I close my eyes tight.

A moment later, I was able to return to normal breathing. His palm has come out of my face. I took this opportunity and took a lot of breath. While glancing at the Boss with a cynic.

"Well, this time I forgive you" said Grussel. "Failure is failure. I have to keep punishing Anggie anyway."

"Punishment?" reply to the confused Dimas. Replacing me who is still dumbfounded.

"Yes!" replied the old man firmly. "The next round of hunting is next week. Until then, you're free to beg, steal, kill, or prostitute out there. Obviously, I didn't want to see your face until then. Because it's .. Get the fuck out of here!!"

***===***===***

"Accus ..!"

I grimaced as the new cloth was plunged into cold water, ironing my face. The clutches of old bastard earlier left scars on my cheeks. Not serious, but quite feeling. Fortunately, the pain is less at this time.

"In the meantime, I'll get you the ointment first, yeah!"

Sister Shella immediately rushed to the medicine storage cabinet that was near the entrance. Since this room is quite large, it will take some time for it to get there from my bed at the end of the room. Pass through rows of empty beds aligned in two rows. Making every step of his shoes echo in this desolate place. He opened the glass door, his hands scrolling through the shelf containing medicine. It didn't take long, his finger paused on a small dark yellow bottle. It seemed to be the ointment medicine mentioned earlier.

The woman then returned to my side. Poured a little ointment on both hands, then swept it over my bruises. It's cold. The pain seemed to disappear instantly. Compared with the previous wet cloth, this liquid is more convenient and efficient.

"What is this medicine made of?" my question, curiosity overwhelms me.

"Yes, it also feels very soft."

Sister Shella replied to me with a faint glimmer of a smile. Then take the ointment and put it back on the drug storage rack. He looked like a very reliable apothecary. Graceful, gentle, smiling, and kind to others. Putting all the components together was able to increase its attractiveness. Even Dimas who was sitting on the bed next to me was fascinated to see it. His eyes looked at the woman's back deeply.

"Oh yes, Anggi" exclaimed Sister Shella, turning her body in an instant. It shocked Dimas and immediately threw away his face.

"Yes?"

"So you said you needed a place to stay for a week, right? How about you stay here?"

"That's my purpose here."

Suddenly Dimas kicked hard the foot of my bed. I flinched because of it. "Basic is shameless!" mean it. Then a loud snort right in front of my nose.

"Ah, but you better ask Aunt Saantya for permission!" I changed my speaking style to be more polite.

"I'm sure he'll allow it" replied Sister Shella. He was just about to sit at the end of my bed, but he suddenly remembered something. "Ah, I forgot! Now it's my turn."

"What turns?"

"Prepare dinner." The woman got up and hurriedly walked towards the exit. "I'll excuse you for a second, yeah!"

"Wait!" I screamed loudly. Sister Shella stopped her steps. Twisting his body and throwing a question mark full look. Just before he asked, I conveyed my point. "What if Dimas helps you? This was because of our mistake of visiting uninvited. So let us, ah no, that means he's helping you with your job."

"Wait first! Why should I?" dimas protested, his face grumbling.

"Come on! Your cooking is delicious. Help Sister Shella! Besides, you're just bothering me here! What if my pain gets worse?" I screamed while pushing his back.

We looked at each other for a while. Then Dimas let out a long breath. Evidence that he had captured what I had given him. The man immediately got up and approached towards the exit as I waved at them. In the final moment before the two disappeared perfectly into the front corridor, I caught a glimpse of a smile on Dimas' face.

I'm smiling too. Imagining the man in the middle of being alone with the adoration of his heart. Previously Dimas had told, if he became fond of Sister Shella after becoming a pharmacist here. He said, the woman looked more graceful and charming. But I understand his feelings. Sister Shella has been more charming lately. So, maybe it would be better if I gave Dimas a chance to familiarize himself with the number one popular girl in school. Counting in return to him who helps me all the time.

Bored in this treatment room, I stepped out of the hallway. Fear of the smell of drugs snuck into the fibers of my clothes. I set foot on a carpet of moonlight in an open corridor. Feels fresh. The wind blew as gently as it hit my face, tickling my neck. Almost flew a hood that covered the head. I hurriedly held it with my hands. If only I could be free to let this long mane fly by the wind. I must be similar to a protagonist who made his debut on stage drama.

I walked slowly down the corridor.

This building is quite large and old. Although only two months ago it was restored and repainted, the spooky and haunted effect is still sticky. It does not feel right when used as a clinic. The Aunt Saantya I mentioned earlier was the owner and chairman of the physician association in the city of Glafelden. When I say doctor, not the one who cures patients with advanced medical devices and chemical drugs. But doctors here treat with magic— commonly called Esze— and herbal plants or can also with other traditional methods. So you won't find Paracetamol or Decongestant here. This is another world after all.

I leaned against the fence and looked up. Looking at the dark blue and purplish night sky, the dust belt sparkles greenish like 'Aurora' in the polar regions, the star clusters that form the riverbed, as well as the big stars that illuminate this city. Rubiel, or "Mainland of Heaven", as the inhabitants of this world call it. Rubiel's glance was similar to the moon that came from my world. It's just a dozen times bigger. The combination of all that becomes a soothing sight to the eye.

Observing the night sky is a new favorite thing since arriving here. In my previous world, a sky like this could not be found anywhere. Hence, I never get tired of looking at him no matter how many times I do it.

But ... This sky really gives the impression of another world. A world that could be called 'Juiller'. I don't know why I feel bad. I remember the first time I came into this world. If you remember it sounds funny. I am a man turned into a woman. Moreover, half a fairy. A race that is very rare in this world and very impossible in my world. Then I met the Boss and his group.

The least I could have thought of was .. I joined them! Ah, of course it wasn't me who asked, but Boss Grussels.

Nevertheless, I am still astonished. What made me accept the offer?

Think of hunters like them as nothing like thieves or gold robbers. Because hunting in other people's areas of course. Dirty work that many people avoid. I'm sure everyone would agree with that. Maybe I wanted to do something different than before. After all, it can be a negotiation to stay with other friends while finding a way back.

Aku menghela napas setelah termenung sejenak.

"Jangan-jangan ...!!"
