A second later I immediately ran as fast as lightning towards the foot of the mountain. Although it had already covered half of it, this meadow was simply too vast. The distance between me and the foot of the mountain was about a kilometer. Getting there takes a long time. I don't know if we can reach the foot of the mountain any faster before the spider chases us.
I threw my eyes back, still nothing. The insect seemed to still be waiting underground. That's a bad sign. If it is still silent, it means that the giant spider is confident to be able to catch us easily.
The three of us had already run as fast as possible for a while, but still the foot of the mountain looked far away. Dimas and Sister Shella were still left behind. The man clasped Shella's hand so as not to fall. It seemed that he did not intend to let go of the hands of such a beautiful girl, as if he would rather drag her down than leave Sister Shella. Dimas even brought her a large-looking backpack.
However, both are still at the same speed. If this continues, then we will not be able to pass through this meadow safely.
I lead the way ahead. Splitting the grass that was somehow getting higher. Drown my body in the meadow to my chest. Damn it! These grasses made my pace slower. I'm afraid we can't—.
*DRRR!!
Suddenly a rumbling sound rang out behind me. I looked at it as fast as lightning to find out what was happening. Justright. The bad possibility I thought had happened. The two spiders emerged from the ground and galloped towards us.
"Quick larii!!" I shouted loudly.
Reflexively Dimas put his hands on Sister Shella and ran faster than before. The man did not look back and immediately took a thousand steps. So do I. Being at the front makes me want to not have to choose a path that is easy to pass by my colleagues at the back. I also had time to mow down the grass that was blocking with my little dagger, though it was not very effective.
The rumbling sounds came closer faster than I thought. Both of my legs had been forced to run fast, but still could not beat the speed of the two insects.
"Shella!!"
Dimas' screams brought me to a standstill, then turned my eyes back. Holy hooch! Sister Shella fell. His feet tripped over the ribs of animals sticking out of the ground. Unfortunately, his legs sprained and made him unable to stand properly. Especially running. I was dripping sweat all over my body. My heart is beating fast. My eyes drifted backwards, not far from here were two giant insects coming here at full speed to prey on us. While we're here, we can't move a bit. Of course me and Dimas won't leave Sister Shella.
What am I supposed to do?
"Shella! Stay here and duck under this grass. Make sure they don't see you" Dimas said as he removed Kak Shella's backpack and placed it on the ground. Then he turned to me. "Pig! Let's hold that spider monster!"
I'm nodding. Leaving Sister Shella here, the two of us walked up to the monster. The longer the spider looks bigger. My eyes could see his eight hairy legs clearly. Also his face is very ugly. Holy hooch! That's really the ugliest face I've ever seen.
"I overcame the right, while you were the other," said Dimas.
The man stepped forward, pulling out his sword from its glittering sheath. The man took the stance of the horses while brandishing his sword forward. While I prepared a bow and arrow. I took my hand deeply to spread out the bow. I aligned my eyes with the arrows forward, towards one of the monsters.
Unfortunately, I'm not a good archer. I could only shoot something that was within a dozen to tens of meters. So I waited until the monster got within range of my firing range.
A few seconds later, one of the giant spider monsters approached quickly. As soon as I let go of my hand, the arrow shot straight ahead. But unfortunately a thousand dear, the arrow just grazed his body.
"Damn, I missed!" I swear with annoyance.
But reality says something else. The arrow that should be able to penetrate the monster's body, was precisely mental in the other direction after hitting it. I glare. Nothing should be able to hold the arrow with the sharp end except a shield or armor. A living being would definitely be injured when faced with a galloping arrow. Not with this spider. He was still running towards here like nothing had happened before.
Don't-don't ....
"Dimas, careful! This insect shell is so hard!" I shouted at Dimas.
I saw him nod. After that I don't know what happened next. Because in the next second, I had to roll to the side to avoid the giant spider lunge. Then I got up, that's when I could really see the figure of this creature clearly.
This spider is huge. It can reach two meters more. I had to look up to look at the eight eyes on his face. True said. This is the ugliest face I've ever seen in a lifetime. In addition, the legs are very long and hairy. When viewed from its characteristics and habits that hide in the ground, it seems this spider is included in the Trap Door Tarantula. Although I don't know for sure.
The insect attacked me again with its front legs, but I could avoid it by rolling or occasionally jumping backwards. I pulled the arrow again, this time right in front of his ugly face. But again the arrow had no effect at all. The spider only flinched once, in the next second he had already directed his anger at me.
He used his large front legs to hit me. I went back, but not everything worked. One of his attacks managed to hit my stomach and thicken this body several meters away. Not to lose the pain, I had to be faced with the spider monster that jumped here. I rolled forward, just below his floating body. His two fangs stuck into the ground. If it was one second late, my body would have two large holes. It looks like the fangs are poisonous, as they emit smoke when they hit the ground.
"Damn! My arrows don't work. I could die if this keeps on."
I glanced towards Dimas. That man is not so different from me, he has trouble dealing with this damn insect monster. His sword was unable to cut off the legs of the giant spider, not even scratching it. Often his sword pitted against the opponent's hard shell, but produced nothing. He had to roll over many times to get to my place. The two of us fought with each other in front of us.
"What about you? My sword can't penetrate it" he said behind my back.
"alike you. My arrows are only considered toys by him."
"How about you use Esze?"
"I can only use wind and air types. I don't think that's a good idea considering how hard their shells are."
"Try it first!" his orders.
I doubt this will work, but as he says, it's worth a try. My hand reached into my pocket, where I kept an ivory-colored viglet with a dark complexion at the base.
My hand raised the viglet and aimed it at the spider monster that was in front of me. The large insect was silent as if waiting for the right time to attack. I am too. I focused my full concentration on the viglet. In one breath ....
"Vitr Blast!"
