Rainbow After the Storm

CHAPTER 50. LAST EPISODE'S.

A few months have passed, now the age of the Rainbow womb has entered the ninth month and just waiting for the day of labor.

Since the last few days, Gerald has always been on alert and only came to the office as necessary.

Some nights Gerald also sometimes forced his eyes to stay awake because Rainbow has often complained of cramps in the waist.

"What's up, honey? Your stomach is heartburn?" Ask Gerald between his sleepiness. His eyes were closed but quickly opened when he felt the lentic fingers of the Rainbow pricking his cheek.

"I'm thirsty." Answer Rainbows.

"I'll get you a drink first." Gerald uncovers the blanket covering his body then gets off the bed.

It did not take long, Gerald returned with a glass of water in his hand and then immediately gave it to his wife.

Gerald immediately drank the water until it ran out.

"Thank you, dear." Rainbow said after Gerald kept the empty glass on the table.

"Together, Honey. Sleep again is still this dark."

The rainbow nodded then spread its body, and Gerald pulled a blanket over them both.

"Gerald, lately our baby's movement is not as active as usual." The rainbow rubbed his stomach which felt increasingly tight.

"Yes the doctor said it was like that when it was nearing labor." Gerald said, placing his hand on his wife's belly. She smiled to feel the movement of her baby that was not as tight as usual.

"It seems he's happy because he's often at his Papa's side." The rainbow muttered with a smile.

"His baby or his mom's happy, hum?" Tempt Gerald while playing next to his brow.

"Baby with her Mama." Answer Rainbow looks shy.

"His father dong is more pleased." Gerald said with a smile. However, his smile was becoming wry considering soon Rainbow will give birth and that means he will have a sports holiday night.

"Why Honey, does her stomach hurt again?" Danar immediately woke up when he saw the rainbow grimacing back. He was worried and rubbed his belly.

"Yes, my stomach suddenly hurts." Answer the Rainbow while grimacing.

"Maybe it's time, we go to the hospital now." Gerald prepared to carry his wife, but the rainbow prevented him from feeling the pain of his stomach had disappeared.

"It doesn't hurt anymore."

"It doesn't really hurt anymore?" Ask Gerald to make sure.

The rainbow nodded and then re-shed his body.

Gerald also poured down his body, he rubbed his wife's stomach while reciting prayers for the smooth delivery of his wife.

Feeling the soft touch of her stomach, Rainbow also fell back asleep in the warm embrace of her husband.

As Rainbow slept, Gerald slowly got out of bed. She cleaned herself up and then took a small bag and put in some rainbow and baby necessities when she was about to give birth later. This is just in case if the Rainbow has really been going to give birth and all of it is ready.

Rainbow greets open their eyes when they feel the wet lower part of their body as the pain returns.

"Gerald I'm like bedwetting, it looks like the establishment's broken."

Hearing that, Gerald turned to look at his wife who had been sitting from the bed.

Gerald swiftly changed Rainbow clothes and after that took the bag he had prepared and then carried his wife to the car.

"We're going to the hospital now." Gerald tried not to panic so that the Rainbow also remained calm.

On the road, Gerald had to inform his parents and also contact a doctor who will handle the delivery of the Rainbow.

"Hold it, honey." Next to Gerald's hand held the rainbow's hand.

The rainbow just nodded while adjusting its breath, it was trying to be appropriately calm and not panic.

After a long journey that felt very long. They finally arrived at the hospital.

The doctor who had been informed by Gerald immediately did an examination when his patient had arrived.

"Everything is ready, just waiting for the opening to be complete." Said the doctor while patting the shoulder of Gerald who faithfully accompanied his wife.

After several hours of waiting, Rainbow was finally taken to the delivery room because the opening doctor said it was complete and ready to give birth.

Doctors also allowed Gerald to accompany his wife during the labor process.

Gerald clasped the hands of the grimacing rainbow holding back the pain.

Although no complaints from his wife were heard, but Danar could feel how the pain felt by his wife from the strong grip of the Rainbow in his hand.

"The strong yes, dear." Gerald rubbed the sweat on his wife's forehead and then kissed her repeatedly.

The rainbow nodded and tried to smile on the sidelines of the pain that plagued it.

"A ready? We're starting yes!" After wearing gloves, the doctor began to give cues to the rainbow straining.

Danar recited prayers at the top of his wife's head to be given the smooth delivery of his wife.

The rainbow follows all the instructions from the doctor, the grip of his hand getting stronger while feeling the baby's urge to push.

"The strong yes, dear. Spirit for our baby." Gerald continued to kiss his wife's forehead, his tears were mixed with the sweat that soaked the Rainbow's forehead

Gerald could not hide his tears seeing the struggle of the wife giving birth to their baby.

"Let's get excited, this is his head already visible." Doctor says.

The rainbow takes a deep breath and then exhales slowly and then it pushes back with all its might. Soon the sound of crying babies echoed in the delivery room.

"Thank you, honey, you're great. We're already Papa and Mama." Gerald showered his wife's face with a kiss. A thousand thanks he said in his heart.

"Congratulations, sir, Mom. Your baby is a boy."

The rainbow looked fresher after being moved to the treatment room with the baby.

The baby is a male sex has fallen asleep at the side of his mother after being full after breastfeeding.

"Congratulations, son. You two are finally parents." Mama said while rubbing Gerald's shoulder and then moved to rub the top of the Rainbow head.

The middle-aged woman continued to develop a smile looking at her granddaughter that looked very similar to Gerald as a baby.

"Now your responsibilities are getting bigger, Gerald. Not just a husband, now you're a father too." Said papa, the middle-aged man also rubbed the shoulders of the son just his puppet.

Rainbow and Gerald smiled. Gerald kissed his sleeping son's cheek, as did Rainbow, who also kissed his handsome baby.

The presence of a male baby named Darrel Argantara gave a new color in the Rainbow and Gerald household. In the future they will enjoy their new role as parents.
