Rainbow After the Storm

CHAPTER 22. SILVI'S ARRIVAL

A bright morning, as bright as a smile on the face of Gerald who is now on his way to his office. The man could not help but develop a smile on his handsome face because this morning he got morning kiss from the future wife even though it was only an emoji image.

Arriving at the office, Gerald still smiled and even hummed ria down from his car. However, the smile on his face faded away as his gaze fell upon the figure of the woman he was very familiar with, standing before the entrance with a security guard who was like him trying to prevent entry.

Seeing his superior has come, then the security guard rushed over. Behind her the woman who was none other than Silvi also followed Gerald.

"Sorry Mr. Gerald, Sister Silvi forced her in when I told her that you had not come." The security guard reported, actually not only because Gerald has not come he does not allow Silvi to enter but because of an order from his mama Gerald who once told all employees to expel Silvi if he dared to show himself in this office.

Hearing the security report, Gerald turned his gaze to Silvi who had been standing next to the security guard.

"Would you like to come here?" The cold-pitched question made Silvi shrink, but when it came he was so eager to meet his former fiancee.

"Gerald, there's something I want to talk to you about."

"I'm sorry, I'm busy. Anyway I don't think we have anything else to talk about." Gerald said, he looked at Silvi without any expression on his face.

"Just in a minute, Gerald, I promise this is the last time I see you." Silvi.

Gerald glanced at the clock that was coiled around his wrist, "Five minutes." He said without seeing Silvi.

"But Gerald, I can't talk here, we go to a regular cafe for a second, can we?" Silvi tried to persuade. "It's about the rainbow." He said it again quickly knowing Gerald would refuse.

"We'll go to the usual cafe for a while, I'll talk about it there."

Gerald sighed violently, his face seeming to be holding back his vexation. However, because Silvi said she would talk about Rainbow, in the end she agreed to Silvi's invitation to the cafe.

Arriving at the cafe, Gerald was surprised to have just sat down two waiters suddenly came to put various food menus on the table.

"Silvi, what does that mean? Have you ordered this much food? Listen Silvi, I'm following your invitation here not to eat but to listen to what you want to talk about Rainbow!" Gerald's voice began to rise.

However, Silvi instead seemed to smile and act relaxed even though Gerald slightly snapped at her.

"Gerald, don't get mad like that Gerald. We'd better eat first and then I'll talk." Said Silvi, he casually served food into his plate regardless of Gerald's sharp gaze.

"Silvi, don't waste my time. Better say what you want to say now, or I'll go!" Gerald had completely run out of his patience.

"It's not good to waste food, Gerald, so you better eat too." Silvi said, she turned her head towards the table where it appeared that some people were having an important meeting and one of them was Rainbow.

"Eat a little, and then we'll talk."
