CHAPTER 35. IF ONLY IT COULD

A loud slap landed perfectly on Devano's cheek, the man rubbed his hot, seething cheek as Silvi's seething emotions knew his lover was imprisoning his papa.

"Say, what do they give you until you want to be ruled by them? My Papa and I can give you more than they give you!" Shouted Silvi so angry, his shout was to the surprise of some employees who passed in front of the room Devano.

"You think I'm a kid who can be bribed with candy?" Devano chuckled, as much as he could to calm down in the face of Silvi's anger.

"Dev, I want you to release my Papa right now!"

"Where can it be like that, even your Papa has not felt the coldness of the prisoner floor." Devano smiled faintly, recalling how he was a week in detention every night hugging his body because the floor was so cold.

"Even the prison sentence I don't think is comparable to what your Papa did. It took the lives of two people at once, and you know, your Papa's actions made a child an orphan." Devano lowered his head slightly as he closed his eyes imagining how the rainbow lost both parents at one time in a tragic way.

"That's impossible, Dev, my Papa can't possibly do such a cruel thing." Silvi did not accept her papa being accused.

"I also do not believe if I do not hear it directly, a Handoko with the heart to eliminate people's lives just because they do not want to be rivaled in business." Devano smiled slanted, it turned out that his future father-in-law was more cruel than him.

Silvi shook her head in disbelief at what she saw, it turned out that her father had indeed committed the crime. However, it was his father and he did not want his father to spend his old days in prison.

"Enough, Vi! Now I'm thinking that all this time you've only made your body a tool to fulfill all your desires, and you've always succeeded. But this time it won't be anymore, Vi, don't think I'll obey you this time."

Devano pulled Silvi's hand, pushing the woman's body out of her room. Today he wanted to be alone, reflecting on everything that had happened.
