CHAPTER 27. GO TO DEVANO

After one week of being a prisoner, this is the first day Silvi visits her lover.

However, while reporting to visit Devano, the police asked him to wait because Devano was the arrival of another buster.

About fifteen minutes into the wait, a policeman called Silvi to enter the room.

Devano put on an indifferent face when Silvi has sat in front of him, unlike usual he will always smile when with this lover.

"How are you, Dev? Silvi asked as she opened the plastic package she was carrying.

"As you can see," Devano replied flatly.

Silvi just nodded, he took out the food from the plastic and thrust it in front of Devano. Fried rice tripe his favorite, but Devano just stared at him without the intention to just taste it.

"Vi, I'm full. I ate this too." Devano said, re-stretching the tripe fried rice in front of Silvi.

Silvi frowned then chuckled, "Don't joke, Dev, you're not a special prisoner who will get whatever food you want."

Devano did not respond, he slightly lowered his head while playing both of his fingers under the table. Thinking of what someone said when he came to see her.

During a week in iron bars, it was enough to make him reflect on all his actions so far, including to the rainbow woman who was so sincere in love with him but he incised a deep wound. Luckily Rainbow did not hold him in spite, he was in this custody not only because of Rainbow reporting but Gerald and his papa.

"What's wrong with you, Dev?" Silvi asked, watching her lover look dreamy.

"It's okay" Devano replied. He looked at Silvi in a moment, looking down.

"Dev, are you seriously eating?" Ask Silvi again.

Devano nodded, "But I will still take this fried rice for me to give it to the friends in the cell." He smiled wryly considering the curhatan of one of his cell friends who said during his time in custody that none of his family members came to visit or just send food.

"But this I brought for you, Dev. If you don't want to let me take you home." Silvi felt unacceptable if Devano gave the fried rice to someone else.

"I'm full, Vi, what's wrong with sharing. It's just food." Devano shook his head slowly. During this time he was too blinded by his love for Silvi, so as not to really see the true nature of his lover. So greedy, just with food alone is not willing to share.

"Well if you don't want to give my friend that fried rice in the cell, please take it home." Devano stood up from his seat.

Devano sat back to his place, but he threw his gaze in another direction.

"What do you want to talk about, I don't have much time."

"Belangi and Gerald are getting married."

Devano smiled faintly, he already knew the wedding plans of Rainbow and Gerald from someone who had visited him a while ago.

"It's good that if they're going to get married, at least I'll escape the guilt of having ruined Rainbow's life. He'll have someone who'll be his protector."

"Dev, what's wrong with you?" Silvi stared in disbelief at what her lover had just said.

"What am I really why? Never mind, if there is no other need you should go home, I also want to sleep, sleepy all night can not sleep here cold. If you come here tomorrow please bring a blanket for five people." Devano then left Silvi just like that.
