Pursuing the Love of the Widower

Pursuing the Love of the Widower
The Heart that is Broken

“Good morning!” Kalini opened the door to Chand's room, which was still sleeping. It is natural that Chand is still comfortable curled up under the covers, because the digital clock on the nightstand still shows at four in the morning.

Feeling the son did not react to his greeting, Kalini immediately turned on the room lights, then opened the curtains and shutters wide. “Good morning!” Kalini shouted louder.

Chand, who was disturbed by the bright light of the room lights and the cold wind from the outside, immediately woke up squinting. “Jeez, Ma. What else, anyway?”

“Come, wake! We have to shop for a proposal.” Kalini immediately pulled the blanket that covered Chand's body, then pulled her son who was still bare-chested.

“Shop for application?” repeat chand while glancing at the digital clock. “Jam four in the morning? Mama is delirious or how?”

“You are still whose lives have not been collected,” said Kalini fierce.

“Ma, where there are stores that open at four in the morning, except those that have a see-through store.” Chand scratched his non-itchy forehead. He intends to lie down again. However, Kalini's hand first gripped his arm.

“Who said we want to shop around here? Si Agus has managed to find us both the earliest flight tickets to Jakarta. We shop there!” kalini. His tone sounded so confident, making Chand who was still sleepy instantly wide.

“Ma, I'm not unemployed. I have responsibilities in the office. Please understand,” pinta Chand while cupping both hands in the chest while putting on a pleading face.

“Ah, a day off just can't. What good is Agus you paid as an assistant?” cibir Kalini's.

“Yes, geez. Good name, Ma. Not Agus,” errat Chand.

“For what try. Just because of the idea of an impromptu matchmaking like this Mama until shopping to Jakarta.” Chand exhaled his breath slowly. Drowsiness evaporates instantly.

“Hust! Mama wants to give the best expanse to Gendhis! If you want to move to Vrindavan!” firmly Kalini while moving out of the room. He no longer wanted to accept any excuses from his eldest son.

“Gosh. What else is this?” luh Chand's. “Alright, Ma.  Don't buy expensive ones. Fear of failing again. Dear money,” chirp Chand who makes the mother immediately turned around while glaring sharply.

“You, yes! If that's guarded. Remember, Chand. Speech can be prayer,” growled Kalini. “Just mama doesn't want to know! Get ready in less than half an hour. Mama wait below!”

If the mother had behaved that way, Chand could not resist, much less run away. The only option he had was to obey.

“Oh, yes, clear your schedule again for tomorrow the day after tomorrow,” Kalini said.

“Now holiday, the day after holiday. Could bankrupt me, Ma,” protest Chand.

“Don't have many reasons! Anyway tomorrow the day after tomorrow, we leave for the house of Gendhis while handing over the surrender! We also invite your aunt and om-om! Mama already made an appointment with Susena to come to her house!” break up Kalini while turning around and leaving Chand speechless.

***

Kalini's attitude is full of enthusiasm, much different from Susena's. The man has become increasingly moody since his first love during High School sent a message, informing him that Kalini and his son were coming to propose to Gendhis.

Many times the middle-aged man who still looked handsome and handsome opened and read the message from Kalini. “Date four he wants to come home,” murmured to himself. “Date four .. date four?” Susena was wide-eyed when she noticed the number showing today's date in the upper right corner of her phone screen.

“Waduh!” Susena patted her forehead tight. But then he was in pain himself. However, that did not stop him from hurriedly coming to Gendhis's room. “Dhis! Dhis!” The father-of-three banged on his daughter's bedroom door tightly.

“What the hell, Pa!” The voice of Gendhis came from the room. Yawning with disheveled hair like a lion, he opened his door wide. “Should yes, make a rowdy morning blind like this?” the twenty-seven-year-old girl.

“It's six, Dhis! Not the morning blind!” susena Sahut. “Come, shower! Change clothes! What a beautiful dress!” suddenly ask.

“Hah, why? I'm off today, Pa!” reject Gendhis immediately. For him, bathing is a job that is too heavy, especially on holidays. He had to go through the process of mediation until he gained enlightenment and a strong intention to touch the water. Gendhis often thought that if possible in his previous life, he was a cat.

“That's right, Pa! Why just say now!” Gendhis glared in disbelief.

“Papa forgot to tell you, Dhis!” susena was full of regrets. He was too late in his grief of heartbreak, to the point of forgetting to read the date set by Kalini.

“How is it, Pa! I'm not ready yet!” Gendhis was pacing around the door, twirling about and over while ruffling his already messy hair. The girl looks more and more messy. “Okay, how is this? Well, I can be stressed this way ...” Gendhis is raving no crap.

“Already, the important thing now, you take a shower and groom yourself. Other business let Papa take care!” susena. He no longer cares about his foot injury. The important thing is that he must quickly go to Hanum's room and ask the eldest child to help prepare everything to welcome Kalini.

Hanum was panicking as well. Despite this, he immediately moved to coordinate several housekeepers to prepare dishes and clean the house. Hanum also called Utari to come and help.

At noon, all preparations were done. Various kinds of dishes have also been presented neatly on the buffet table that has been decorated nicely by Utari. Now, just waiting for the guests to arrive.

“Papa has told Mbak Gendhis to take a shower, ‘kan?” chirps Utari.

“Already,” replied Susena.

“Bandup?” ask Utari again.

“It also seems to have.” This time Susena sounded doubtful.

“Indeed Gendhis can dress up?” sela Hanum, who made Susena and Utari look at each other.

“Ow, bad! Let me just help her,” without being asked, Utari immediately rushed to the brother's room. As he had expected, Gendhis was having a hard time combing his long hair.

“Fucking hair! I should've cut it short, like a soldier. Papa, use the show to forbid me to cut my hair. Though this is my own hair, not papa's hair,” gendhis scolding without stopping.

“Sini, let me just.” Utari immediately grabbed the comb from Gendhis hand and combed the hair painstakingly and patiently. He breathed a sigh of relief when he could conquer that hair, then refuted it with a simple model. Not to forget, Utari pairs several similarly shaped hairpins around the bun to beautify the look of the sister.

“Well, done,” Utari smiled widely, then noticed the face of the sister from the reflection of the makeup table mirror. The smile instantly faded away as he closely observed Gendhis eyebrows that did not look in sync. “Wah, Ma'am. Who is it that drew the eyebrows?” tanyanya doubt.

“Who else is in this room besides me,” replied Gendhis.

“Yes, geez, Ma'am. This gendhis madam doesn't see that his eyebrows are thick next door!” Utari clucked slowly.

“Waduh, how to go, dong!” Gendo was panicked.

“Quiet, quiet. Let me re-arrange,” Utari turned over the body of Gendhis who was still in a sitting position so that he faced her. Just now she was about to show off her ability in terms of dressing up, when a low boisterous sound came from downstairs. “Wah, bad, the guest has arrived!” hissing slowly.
