Pursuing the Love of the Widower

Pursuing the Love of the Widower
New Acquaintances

Gendhis has set his heart on resigning from his job. The girl who was heartbroken but pretended to be stoic for the sake of the prestige, decided to calm down at the residence of the grandmother who was in the city of Bandung. It's been a long time, Gendhis hasn't been there. One thing is certain, at that time his grandmother hoped that Susena's daughter would come home soon.

“Sorry yes, Grandma. Gendhis has taken care of Grandma,” said Gendhis who was finished spending his semester vacation. The last time he accompanied the grandmother was when she was still sitting in the second grade of High School. “Gendhis does not know when he can come here again,” he said again sad.

“It's okay. If you miss the same grandma just call, do not bother coming here. Anyway, papa you're busy too, right?” reply the grandmother who felt relieved when Gendhis say goodbye to return to Yogyakarta.

That was the last memory of Gendhis meeting with his grandmother. The girl nodded slowly. While waiting for the plane that will take him to fly to Kembang City where the father was born, the middle child of the three brothers seemed to think. “Aduh, lest grandma won't open the door if I go there?” gendhis thought, shaking back. He also breathed slowly. “No way,” said the former photographer of Hello Girls magazine unconsciously.

“What's impossible, Dhis?” ask Susena. He, who was escorting Gendhis to the airport, looked astonished at his daughter. “If you feel unwell, you should just undo this trip. You can leave next time,” the advice of the father of three children.

“Ah not so, Pa,” rebutted Gendhis. However, he did not have time to say anything to the father, because there was a notification that the plane that would take him to the city of Bandung was ready. “Ya already, Pa. I'll give you a damn.” Gendhis got up from his seat. He carried the army backpack he used to use every time he traveled out of town. He walked while groping a medium-sized suitcase.

After going through the check-in process, Gendhis had to wait in the lounge for a while, until an announcement was heard to let passengers get on the plane immediately. The girl who had just felt the heartbreak rushed in and sat down on the chair, according to her choice when booking the ticket.

Gendhis bought an economy class flight ticket, considering himself now an unemployed man. Suddenly remembered by him the business card that was given by Mr. Good. Gendhis checked the card, making sure it was securely stored in the wallet.

The girl was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief, while grasping the card earlier. Iseng himself kept Manggala's contact number and intended to put the card back in the wallet.

However, he had not been able to reinsert his place, the arm of Gendhis was suddenly nudged by someone who was about to sit beside him until the card fell. “Waduh, bad! My source of income!” Genphis looks panicked. He looked around for that little thing. But, honey, I did not meet.

Gendhis clucked in annoyance. He almost vented anger at the person next to him. The guy is really looking for things. He did not know that Gendhis was in a state of disrepair due to heartache.

Gendhis's index finger was straight pointed at the passenger next to him who turned out to be a man.

The girl's mouth opened as she said, “Hei!”

However, Gendhis seemed to have to immediately throw away his sense of regret. The man he was going to anger earlier, was a tall and handsome figure. His muscles stand out from the back of his hand to the wrist. The man was wearing a black T-shirt with the image of an international metal band in torn jeans, just like the pants that Gendhis was wearing at the time.

Feeling that he and the man were one frequency, Genphis was finally able to understand. His name was also unintentional, so deep in heart. He finally got the name card. After all, Gendhis had kept the contact number listed there before.

Secretly, Gendhis glanced at the man from the side. Her hair was slightly curly and long until it touched her ears. The man's nose is sharp. His eyes were sharp, straight forward. I don't know what the man noticed. He looks so serious.

“Mbak, try to see.” The man suddenly turned his head and turned his body towards him. While Gendhis did not at all think that it would happen, making himself misbehaved, just like the peepers who were caught in action.

“The person still turns on the phone. Though there has been an announcement from the cabin crew to turn off the mobile phone,” grumbled the man. He is much more handsome when viewed from the front. However, still could not beat Chand's good looks, so the voice of the heart of Gendhis.

“Ah, her again. He again,” muttered the girl slowly.

“Mbak know the guy?” asked the man while frowning his brows.

“Know whom?” Genphis was confused.

“It ... who is still turning on his phone,” replied the man half-shabby.

“Ngak. Unacquainted. Which person is also invisible,” said Gendhis confused. Apparently the man was just as confused.

“Lha it was Mbak said ‘dia again’?” said the man.

“Oh.” The handsome man was bearded, then returned to his original sitting position. After that, he reached into something from inside the butut backpack that was on his lap, which turned out to be a novel book by an overseas writer. While putting on the headphones, the man began to read sheet by sheet.

Now there is a Gendhis who does not know what to do. His favorite camera he put in a suitcase that now hangs comfortably in the plane locker located far above the head. He had to stand up to pick it up, and that meant that Gendhis had to pass by the handsome man who was engrossed in reading books.

Gendhis imagined, had to pass the man and the possibility of his butt could be nudged the face of the stranger. “Aduh. No, deh.” He went back to talking to himself.

Suddenly the man turned his head and noticed the uncomfortable body language of a Gendhis. “Mbak want to pass?” tanyakanya.

“Oh, no. I just ... just .. want to find food,” replied Genthis origin.

“Oh, I have a snack if Mbak wants.” The man reached into his bag again, then took out a bar of chocolate on Gendhis.

“Wah, my favorite!” Gendhis eyes were perfectly rounded. What a beautiful coincidence, he thought. “Thank you, yes!” gendhis said cheerfully.

“Sama-sama,” reply the man is no less friendly.

“This I always bring to the office. I always eat in secret at meetings. Mr. Good, editor-in-chief of the magazine where I used to work, did not like the meeting room to get dirty. After all, it's rude ‘kan, eat at meetings,” said Gendhis.

“The problem is, I can't stand hunger. So, I like to hide this chocolate. Sometimes I hide in the waist. Sometimes I enter in the chest,” he continued fiery.

“Oh.” The man smelled a smile. It was obvious that he was holding back a laugh. “Mbak works in the magazine?” tanyanya diverted the conversation.

“Iya. A few years ago I was a magazine photographer. Before I resign,” lighted Gendhis proud.

“Oh, yes? The photographer? Very cool,” flatter the guy. “I like the profession of photographer.”

“What yes? Have you seen my work yet? I photographed for Hello Girls magazine,” explained Gendhis confidently.

“That woman's special magazine?” The handsome man's mouth was slightly surprised. But in the end, he smiled broadly. “If you may know, what is the name of Mbak?”

“I Genthis. If mas?”

“Manggala.” The man reached out with a sweet smile that did not fade.

“Manggala?” gendhis's birthday was softened while welcoming the man's hand. It occurred to Gendhis that the man nearby was the man whose name was on the business card. However, Gendhis immediately dismissed the thought. The manggala who was talking to him, did not look like a media owner.
