"Mara??"
The heavy-sounding voice of someone made Mara surprised. From far away their eyes had met, staring at each other, it turned out that it was real.
"Eum, hi?" Sapa Mara when her eyes have met the figure of the man she was looking for. His feelings were shocked, yet he tried to dilute the taste.
Byan smiled when he heard the stiff greeting from Mara. He pulled his black suitcase, his steps getting closer to Mara.
"You looking for someone?" Byan hopes that the person Mara is looking for is herself.
"What's? No, I'm not looking for anyone" elak Mara threw his gaze in another direction. It was hard for him to admit that he was looking for someone who was standing right in front of him.
"Oh," Byan simply nodded, not wanting to ask more when he already knew Mara's answer. He was afraid that Mara would misunderstand him. Moreover, he had promised yesterday was the last for him to appear before Mara.
In contrast to Mara, hearing Byan just say 'oh' made her heart feel stuck by a stone. So heavy.
"Then, you?"
"Eum? Me?" Byan pointed at himself with his index finger.
"No, security's in there!" Mara pointed towards the security that was standing not far from the existence of the two of them.
Byan looked at Mara's eyes. He widened his smile, "Really?"
"You want to go?" Tanya Mata stared intently at Byan's eyes. As if to show that he doesn't want Byan to leave.
The gaze thrown by Mara meant something. Until his smile slowly faded, he returned Mara's gaze heavily. "Yes, I have to go,"
"Are you going far away? You go long or for a minute? Can we still meet, Mum?" Mara asked in her heart, indeed she did not dare to ask that question to Byan. She thought she was a shameless woman, because yesterday she had asked Byan not to see her again, but now even she who wanted to see Byan even forbade him to leave.
"Mara?" Call Byan wake up Mara's daydream.
"Yes, what's up, Mom?"
Byan smiled, at least Byan still heard Mara calling him with a nickname that he really liked 'MAS'.
"My plane is leaving in ten minutes, I ..."
"Oh, please. May your journey be pleasant, "cut Mara with a sick smile, as a result of bearing the weight of the burden in her heart. Truly, the stone that stuck his heart now felt even heavier.
"It would certainly be nice, because now I can meet you," Byan tried to raise his hand. At least he can hold Mara's face for the last time, or be given the chance to hold her hand. However, he undoed the intention and lowered his hand back.
Mara doesn't know what Byan is going to do, but Mara doesn't like it when she sees Byan lowering her hand back.
"I'm leaving" Byan flashed his smile. Smile to cover up how hurt her heart is right now, sick of not being able to act according to her heart. It was all blocked and he really couldn't do anything. He left without even hearing Mara's farewell.
His steps were so heavy, he pulled the suitcase slowly accompanying his footsteps. Without looking back he left Mara alone. Until his tears dripped, because it could no longer bear to be weathered.
As with Byan, Mara's tears were dripping watching her departure. And his heart ached when he could not say what he wanted to say. His legs felt like chasing after Byan, but again his brain ordered to stay still here.
"I am the cause of this pain, I am the one who destroyed it all, now it is over" Mara said in her heart regretting her actions.
The cry of tightness was now spilled after Byan's back began to drift away and disappeared slowly from his sight. His body was crammed on the floor, crying as hard as he could without caring about the many people watching.
"Aunty?"
Hearing Star's voice, Mara looked up at Star. "Star?"
"Tante, what's going on?" Star immediately hugged Mara's body which was now crying. Getting treatment from Star, Mara even tightened her cries.
"Tante, did Papa hurt Aunt again?"
"No, Star," replied Mara. Because he knew that the pain he felt was not due to Byan. But it was himself who made this pain.
"If Papa hurts Aunt, Star apologizes on Papa's behalf," Star wiped Mara's tears.
...****************...
In a different country, I don't know how long. Maybe already about two weeks passed, the busy work made him slowly able to divert his mind from Mara. Although not lost, at least slowly he tried to forget about Asmara.
"It's only been a few weeks, slowly it will all go away," murmured Byan inwardly reassuring himself.
Although in fact the more he forgets, the sharper the image of Mara appears in his mind. Forgetting Mara was not as easy as turning the palm of the hand.
"By," call Kessy.
Seeing Kessy coming into his room, he tried to turn his gaze toward the outside of the glass window that displayed a beautiful view at night in this ginseng country. For him, looking at the outside view is better and looks beautiful, rather than looking at Kessy who wears a tight shirt with one button open top. Not to mention the mini skirt above his knee, not the lust to see it, Byan shuddered at it.
"By, don't you want to go home?" Ask Kessy. As usual, Byan rarely ignored his words. So that makes Kessy must first take the main role in order to communicate more with Byan.
"Go home" Byan's pinta on Kessy accompanied by a heavy sigh.
"By, according to Abi Malik's orders, I've already moved my belongings to my Apartment,"
"Good," replied Byan briefly.
"Byan," Kessy approached towards the chair where Byan was sitting.
He wanted to take his eyes off of Byan to head towards him. He sat on the edge of Byan's desk. Even so, Byan did not show any reaction.
"By, if you need anything you can come to me" Kessy offered, because she knew it was hard to expect Byan to come to her. Never mind coming by itself, he who has been hard-earned to Byan is still being rejected outright.
Byan only glanced in annoyance at Kessy, he got up from his seat, took a suit on the back of the chair then put it on.
"Go home, I'll take you,"
"What?" Kessy was surprised, he could not stop thinking if this appeal managed to make Byan react. A smile rose on his face, he came down from the table and soon caught up with Byan.
"Hurry up, or I'll change my mind!" Byan walked first to leave Kessy.
"By, Wait!" Kessy smiled happily. Maybe this is the right time for him to win the heart of Byan, after he heard that Byan had received rejection from Mara.
"By, thank you for taking me," said Kessy softly. He tried to compensate for Byan's footsteps which were wider than his footsteps.
Byan just kept quiet, there was nothing he had to answer or say to Kessy, Asisstennya.
"By, there's actually a lot of things I haven't finished in my apartment yet," Kessy still invited Byan to speak even though the two of them were walking fast. Kessy memorized very well even though it looks cool, Byan still listened to his interlocutors well.
"I hope you can help me" Kessy continued.
Byan did not give any answer or reaction. The cold attitude still continued to show to other women, but not with Mara.
After a long walk, Kessy felt strange because they were now in the front lobby of the building, not in the basement where Byan's car was parked.
"Taxi!"
Kessy's eyes widened to find Byan stopping one of the passing taxis. He also heard when Byan spoke to the taxi driver mentioning his Apartment address.
"Come in," Byan opened the car door for Kessy. After Kessy entered, she immediately closed the car door firmly.
"Byan, you ..."
"Take him safely, sir," Byan smiled smirk, then he immediately went back to where his car was parked.
"Dyan!!!!!!!" Kessy shouted loudly.
But the taxi car still runs according to Byan's request. The driver did not heed Kessy's scream, he still drove his car to the address that Byan said earlier.
"Awassss you!!!" Kessy cursed Byan in annoyance. He did not expect that he would be fooled again by Byan's reaction tonight.
