Red Girl

Lindsey tried to open her eyes and rubbed them several times, she turned around in any direction and occasionally held her head that still felt dizzy. 

"Am I in the woods again?" said monologue.

And it turns out that it was true, Lindsey was back in the middle of a dark forest that was quite terrible. He who resigned could only sigh heavily and then sit leaning on one of the trees while enjoying the cold air blowing fiercely through the surface of his skin.

"Hey magic necklace, I know you're a talking necklace, can you take me to a safer place? I could die being pounced on by a beast if this continues," lamented Lindsey who spoke to her necklace. 

Lindsey's words were not ignored by the magic necklace. Lindsey gave up trying to talk to the necklace the old woman gave her. For him talking with a necklace is a waste of time and exhausting. The necklace spoke as he pleased and never heeded Lindsey's words. After all, is it a fate for Lindsey to explore every fairy tale? Well, he's tired enough to help the characters in the fairy tale. But, it's actually fun.

"Dad's right .. reading too long can make the imagination go crazy. I should have heard Dad's words back then." Lindsey regretted.

As Lindsey was thinking about her father's words, she heard the voice of the person singing, and the voice drew closer.

"Who sings in the woods like this?" he asked in surprise, "I think he's crazy." Lindsey stood up slowly and looked around.

"What are you doing?" said someone from behind Lindsey, and it turned out she was a little girl wearing a red veil.

"Byhurrah!" Lindsey shouted in surprise at the arrival of the little girl. The girl was similarly shocked as Lindsey shouted.

"W-who are you?" ask Lindsey and move away from the girl.

"Fiuh .. I thought you were a beast," sighed the little girl with a heavy sigh.

"A pretty face like this you say wild beast?" lindsey grumbled that she did not accept that she was called a beast. Does he look like that?

"Are you a human or a wolf? Or maybe you're a half-wolf?" ask the red-hooded girl to Lindsey casually.

Lindsey rounded her eyes and her mouth was wide open. "Hey, I'm human. M-a-n-u-s-i-a. There's not half a wolf in me." Lindsey replied as she spelled out the word man to the little girl.

"Yes yes, all right."

Lindsey tried to recognize this little girl carefully, looking from head to toe to ascertain if the little girl was a red-hooded girl. However, it looks from the appearance of this girl is indeed the girl in the story of The little red riding hood. But, this girl was not courteous at all to Lindsey. Didn't her parents guide her properly?

"What's in that basket?" lindsey asked, looking down at the basket to see.

"It's a cake made by my mother, I'll take her to my grandmother's house" the little girl replied with a cheerful smile.

"You're not afraid? Here, there are a lot of wild animals" Lindsey said, trying to scare the girl.

"Actually I was afraid, but I had to dare to go through this forest and give this cake to my grandmother" replied the little girl.

"It turns out you're a stubborn kid. Oh yeah, have you met a wolf?" this time Lindsey changed the subject.

"It." The girl nodded briefly. It's easy to say already. This little girl has no fear of anything.

"What did the wolf say when you met him?" lindsey was very curious.

"Why do you want to know?" Instead of answering, the little girl asked Lindsey.

"Jawab, what did the wolf say?" ask the impatient Lindsey.

"I can't tell you."

"Why?"

"Because we don't know each other. My mom says I can't talk to strangers" she said innocently.

Lindsey patted her forehead strongly. "Hey, who do you think you've been talking to since?" lindsey said, this time he had to be extra patient.

As Lindsey was thinking, the red-hooded girl walked away leaving her. Lindsey who realized immediately followed the girl.

"I'm coming?" lindsey said with a smile.

"Why are you coming? If you get lost, just find your own way out. You're an adult." said the little girl lightly.

Lindsey glared after hearing the girl's words.

"No, I just want to see and visit your grandmother. You can't refuse,"

"Hmm .. Yes it is."

They went on to go to the red-hooded girl's grandmother's house. Meanwhile, the wolf who had met the red-hooded girl took a shortcut in order to get to granny's house before the red-hooded girl arrived.

Tok tok!

"Please come in, baby, I'm so worried that something happened to you in hut-" Grandma thought that the one who knocked on the door was her granddaughter. Unfortunately, the wolf went straight in and devoured the grandmother.

A few minutes later, Lindsey and the red-hooded girl reached grandma's house and began knocking on the door.

Tok tok!

"Who is that?" The wolf asked while mimicking the voice of the grandmother.

"Oh! My dear come here, Grandma has been waiting for you since."

The wolf was so good at imitating the voice of the grandmother that the girl in red hooded immediately believed it, he entered the house without suspecting anything.

But not for Lindsey, he already knows this storyline. He swiftly pulled the hand of the red-hooded girl and said. "Don't come in! There's a wolf in there that's been gobbling up your grandmother."

"What?! There is no way that the wolf has devoured my grandmother. You didn't hear that voice, that's my grandmother's voice" she said, not trusting Lindsey's words.

"I'm not lying, we better find a way to get your grandmother out of the wolf's stomach."

"No! I'm going to see my grandmother."

"Hey! Aish, he's really stubborn. Wait!" gerutu Lindsey then entered the house of the grandmother.

"Aaaakkhh!"

"Haha! I can finally eat this little girl. Nyam, it's delicious."

"Hey, get that red-hooded girl and her grandmother out of your belly that's an ugly wolf!" lindsey exclaimed courageously before the wolves.

"Hm? There's another one turned out. Alright I will devour you too," said the wolf, then draw near to Lindsey.

"Eh? Kabuurrs!" Lindsey ran out in a daze when she heard the wolf say that he was going to devour her.

No no! I don't want to be eaten by a wolf in a granny costume. I had to figure out a way to get the little girl out with her grandmother, she muttered and sought help around the forest.

Lindsey saw a hunter passing in front of her grandmother's house. Lindsey quickly approached the hunter and said, "Help me, please save a little girl and her grandmother in the wolf's belly."

"What did you say? There's a wolf in the house?" the hunter asked in surprise at Lindsey's words. Lindsey nodded quickly

The hunter entered the house of the grandmother.The hunter immediately shot the wolf. The wolf was unable to attack the hunter due to the glut, even making himself unable to rise from the grandmother's bed. The hunter also pulled the girl in a red hood and the grandmother out of the wolf's stomach, and Lindsey immediately approached the girl in a red hood and the grandmother with a worried look.

"You guys okay?" ask Lindsey.

"Have you called the hunter to get us out of the wolf's belly?" ask grandma Lindsey.

"Yes, I'm so worried about you two" Lindsey said.

"Thank you, son. I don't know how to return the favor" said the grandmother.

"Oh yeah, how about we just eat the cake in this basket?" proposed the red-hooded girl.

"I agree! I'm so hungry."

Lindsey and the red-hooded girl chuckled together, as if nothing had happened to them.

Grandma came into the house to make tea.

The three of them ate together in the courtyard of the grandmother's house. Lindsey is the most avid person to eat these cakes. The grandmother and the red-hooded girl could only gape wide at how greedy Lindsey was when eating.

"You look so hungry, how many weeks have you not eaten?" ask the red-hooded girl to Lindsey in a soft tone.

"Don't make fun of me, I'm hungry for you."

"My god?"

"Who do you think is stubborn and won't listen to me? I told you not to come in, you just entered regardless of what I said."

"I don't know."

Grandma breaks up a fight between Lindsey and the girl in the red hood.

"Already, don't-"

Ting!

The light of Lindsey's necklace suddenly shone very brightly, leaving the red-hooded girl and her grandmother shocked and away from Lindsey.

"W-what's that?" said Grandma astonished.

"Gee, it looks like my job here is done. I can get out of this place. Thanks for the cake, it's so good" Lindsey said, then moved to get ready.

"Where are you going?" ask the red-hooded girl to Lindsey.

"To a very distant place. See you in the red hooded girl, and grandma, too."

"Wait-wait!"

Ting!

Missing already Lindsey from the sight of the red hooded girl and grandmother. They could only widen their eyes in surprise.

The gentle breeze made Lindsey's brown hair fly after the wind passed. He looked around and wondered to himself. Hope not in the middle of the forest.
