Portal to the Fairy Tale

Portal to the Fairy Tale
Prologue

Lindsey is a cheerful, kind, helpful girl. Most often fantasize about the fairy tale world. He believes that he has seen firsthand the storyline process in every fairy tale he has ever read. But, he thought that it was very impossible, right?

The story is just imagination and imagination. Thought it was like that.

Lindsey is a very expressive storyteller. He also often went to orphanages close to his school to tell the children there. He did it routinely every time he went home from school.

On the one hand, he believes that fairy tales are not just fantasy. There are always valuable lessons to be learned from each storyline. The good and bad stories told, it was a valuable lesson for him.

Reading and retelling stories from the past has been his hobby since the age of 12. It started from the mother who always told a fairy tale to Lindsey before going to bed, since then she was very crazy about fairy tales.

If you don't hear one story at night, Lindsey won't be able to sleep. In fact, her mother once made up stories for Lindsey because she had run out of fairy tales. Understandably, there are more than 100 fairy tales told by the mother only for Lindsey.

Now 16 years old, Lindsey is trying to read at least one fairy tale before going to bed, if no one will read a short story about fantasy. He also often re-read stories that have been read by his mother or ever read by himself. Because he thought fairy tales were fun, he considered that fairy tales were ingrained into his body.

...***...

In the snowy winter, a beautiful girl with brownish hair was walking through London while reading a thick book in her hand. The girl had just returned from the library after borrowing an old book about fairy tales. The book is about fairy tales in different parts of the world. There are 10 sub-chapters with more than 500 pages.

Lindsey walked casually and her eyes were always fixed on the writing in every line of the book. While he was focusing on his reading, at the end of the street he saw a middle-aged woman sitting with her body curled up. From a distance, the woman looked thin and dry. It was clearly visible from the shape of his thin cheeks. The woman continued to look at the famous cake shop in London, hoping that someone would give her a piece of cake.

Lindsey who saw him felt pity and decided to enter the cake shop. He bought a piece of his favorite red velvet cake and hot chocolate to give to the woman.

Lindsey approached the woman and gave her the cake and hot chocolate she had just bought. "This is for you." Lindsey smiled at the woman.

"Thank you, son .." said the woman.

Lindsey sat next to him. "You must be very hungry" said Lindsey, who was eager to see the old woman eating the cake and sipping hot chocolate voraciously.

The old woman just nodded slowly while continuing to eat Lindsey's cake.

"You're a very good boy. What's your name, son?" asked the woman in a voice so soft. Lindsey could barely hear him.

"My name is Lindsey," he answered briefly densely clear.

"This is for me?" lindsey asked in confusion. The woman nodded slowly.

At first he wondered why the woman had a necklace of jewels that even if sold could buy food or more. But because tempted by the beauty of the jewel, he also unconsciously accepted it.

"Thank you" Lindsey said, thanking the woman.

After helping the woman, Lindsey resumed her journey to her home.

He walked over while looking at the necklace that the old woman had just given him.

"Very beautiful" she said as she continued walking.

Arriving home, Lindsey was greeted by her mother who was waiting for the return of the child. "Honey, why did you just come home?" ask Mrs. Lane.

"Sorry, Mom, I just got back from the library. I go to the room first yes," said Lindsey then went to his room located on the second floor.

As Lindsey was about to get ready for bed, the necklace the old woman gave off was glowing very brightly. Displays its dazzling sea-blue sparkle. Lindsey who was not strong because of the sparkle of the gem finally closed her eyes and closed them with both hands.

When Lindsey opened her eyes, she was shocked that she was currently inside a dark forest.

"This ... where ...?" Lindsey is still trying to understand the surroundings. Looking in any direction and very scared.

"W-why am I here? Mama! Where are you?!" his yell. However, there was no answer from anyone but the sound of wolf howls, coupled with the extremely dark forest conditions.

Lindsey didn't manage to find her mother, nor did she find anything in this forest.

Finally, Lindsey decided to walk through the forest, she saw a bright light that was at the end of the forest. Lindsey quickly ran towards the light.

He glared in surprise at what he was seeing.

"Th-this?"
