Ariel's Voice

"Ouch!"

Lindsey fell from the sky and is currently sitting on a stretch of white sand. He kept stroking his butt because of the pain.

When he touched the sand several times, he immediately got up to stand up and looked around. He narrowed his eyes to avoid the blazing sun.

"Beach?" Lindsey wondered to herself.

"It looks like a mermaid fairy tale" he said, but not too sure.

Shortly after, Lindsey heard a very melodious singing voice. His voice was as beautiful as a melody that pierced through his heart. He knows this feeling.

"That sound is not ...? it's not wrong, it's Ariel the mermaid."

When Lindsey heard Ariel's singing voice, she immediately came back excited. And start looking for the source of that voice.

"Ah, that's it!" with lightning speed Lindsey ran towards Ariel and the seemingly unconscious Prince Erick.

"Ariel!" lindsey shouted as she continued running and waved her hand.

Ariel turned to Lindsey, surprised that someone saw her, and swam back into the sea.

"Eh?! W-wait! Don't go!"

Arriving at the place where Prince Erick fainted, Lindsey also tried to wake him by sprinkling sand into the prince's face.

"Ughh! What's this?!" desih Erick who began to wake up.

"Wake up!"

"A-are you the one who saved me? What's yourname?" ask prince Erick.

"Eh? It wasn't me who saved you, it was seora-"

"Thank you for saving me," Prince Erick interrupted.

"Wait, I haven't finished bica-"

"Then come to the palace across there at night. Oh yeah, you haven't answered my question, what's your name?" prince Erick cuts Lindsey's speech.

"Lindsey."

"Well, good-bye Lindsey!"

Erick left Lindsey's presence.

Lindsey was in place.

"Yep,"

"God! It wasn't me who saved her, aish!"

Lindsey was confused by Erick.

Does he have to go to the palace, or look for Ariel under the sea? Ah no way, he's human, can't breathe underwater. Swimming is not possible.

POV Author

Ariel becomes curious and asks her grandmother if humans can live forever. Grandma explains that humans have a much shorter lifespan than mermaids that can live up to 300 years, but when mermaids die, they turn into sea foam and disappear, man has an immortal soul living in heaven.

Ariel, longing for the prince and wanting to live with him. Because of his desire to be human he visits a sea witch in the most dangerous part of the ocean. The witch happily helps her in exchange for the exchange of magic potions with Ariel's beautiful tongue, as Ariel has the most enchanting voice in the world.

The witch reminded Ariel that once she became a human, she would never be able to return to being a mermaid. Moreover, he would only be a true human being if he managed to obtain true love. If his true love is not married to someone else, then he will die with a broken heart and dissolve into the sea foam on the waves.

After she agreed to the rules of the sea witch, Ariel swam to the surface near the prince's palace and drank the potion.

After turning into a human, Ariel did not meet with Prince Erick but met with Lindsey who had been waiting for Ariel's arrival to the surface.

"Finally you came too" said Lindsey, who had been waiting for Ariel.

The surprised Ariel could only stare at Lindsey flatly.

"I know you're mute right now, you're doing it to meet and live with the Prince, right?" lindsey said, who seemed to know everything about Ariel.

"Lindsey, Ariel is mute and you can't hear her voice directly, but you can hear her heart if you hold her hand." Lindsey's necklace talk.

"really?" Lindsey held Ariel's hand out of curiosity about her necklace.

"Why is he holding my hand?" ariel is confused.

"Oh? I heard it!" lindsey was surprised.

"Hear what?" ariel is still in my heart.

"I heard what you just said, wow this is great! Like a super power that can read someone's mind," Lindsey replied that she looked excited because she could read Ariel's heart.

"D-he can hear my heart?" Ariel wondered.

"Yes, I can hear it" Lindsey said.

"Lindsey, we don't have much time left. We'd better go to the prince's palace" the necklace tells Lindsey.

"Ahh, right too,"

The two of them walked towards Prince Erick's palace. Sometimes they talk to eliminate awkwardness.

Lindsey who likes to tell stories about her childhood, while Ariel only listened carefully. Ariel also tells the story of his childhood who always lived in the underwater palace with his father and five sisters.

After a long walk down the beach, they finally arrived in front of the magnificent palace of Prince Erick.
