Elf Torlock – Chapter 2

"Enough Amethyst!" squeal Lindsey. He could not bear to see his final scene. Amethyst quickly stopped the scene.

"So that's ... so cruel." said Antlers.

"I didn't expect him to do such a cruel thing to Caapal." said Marine.

"Then, now what? Caapal's been killed, and now we're completely lost" exclaimed the complaining Laurent.

"That's not true." said Marine.

"Eh? Whatchu mean?" laurent asked with a confused face.

"We continue our journey towards the Elf Village." suggested Ruby.

"Elf Village? So, in this Elf Valley is there a village?" Heyna wonders.

"Yes, right at the end of this Valley there is a small village inhabited by hundreds of Elves, maybe we can get a hint from the villagers" explained Marine.

"Alright, let's continue this journey before sunset" Antlers said. Followed by his friends.

The journey to the Elf village was exhausting and took a lot of time and effort. Lindsey and her three friends walked for so long and did not rest, considering the sun was almost setting. If they did not make it to the Elf village before sunset, then their journey towards the Witch Valley would be hampered. So too with saving Hesley who is now out of nowhere.

"Why is the trip this time longer than before? I was so tired and hungry .." lamented Laurent who kept whining like a white-pocked baby.

"Ish, quiet! Your voice is disturbing my ears!" heyna wrath while pinning Laurent's head for not wanting to shut up.

"Ouch!" whining Laurent grimaced in pain.

"Then, how do we communicate with the village chief later, if we don't understand each other's language?" ask Lindsey.

When they reached the village chief's house, they were faced with two guards standing guard near the gate. The two guards greeted Lindsey and friends unfavourably. You could say they were suspicious of the arrival of Lindsey and friends.

"Quick say!" snapped one of the guards using their language.

"Aish, what are they talking about? I don't understand what they're saying" confused Heyna as she scratched her non-itchy head.

"Laurent, come here" Emerald said. Laurent approaching.

"What's wrong?"

"I'll give you linguistic powers" Emerald said.

"What's? Why me?"

"Would you want to or not?"

"Ahh, okay I want."

When Emerald turned into a gemstone and entered into Laurent's body, Emerald began to incorporate linguistic powers into Laurent.

After finishing, Emerald exits Laurent's body and transforms back into a puppy.

"The puppy turned into a gemstone!" shouted the hysterical guard.

"Eh?"

"What did he say?"

"They were surprised to see Emerald magically transformed into a gemstone" replied Laurent who had just translated the Elf language.

"Do you understand what they're saying?" ask Heyna.

"Yes, I understand. It seems like that linguistic power has already entered my body,"

"Then tell them quickly that we need the village chief's help to find a clue about Glory's whereabouts" Lindsey said.

"Key,"

After talking for quite a while with the two guards who were extremely possessive, the two guards finally allowed them to meet the village chief.

"Moribatan,"

"Huh? What did you say?"

"Moribat means thank you in their language."
