"Why should I fall from the sky anyway?!" shout Lindsey.
This time he was not in a forest, but a market that seemed very crowded by people passing by, various types of goods were being traded.
He walked slowly while looking at people and occasionally stopped his steps just to look at the goods sold in the market.
When he was walking, his gaze was fixed on the figure of the little boy who had continuously offered the cow beside him.
"Who would buy my cow! I sold it for 100 gold coins!" yelled the boy.
Lindsey kept watching the boy from a distance. He also confirmed that the boy was Jack.
According to a fairy tale he once read, Jack is an ordinary poor boy who needs money to buy food and necessities. Jack would sell his cow to an old man who traded it for a bag of magic gold seeds.
He could not wait to see the continuation of the story, this story included his favorite fairy tale when he was a child.
"Hopefully the storyline here does not change with the one in the book" he said.
Weary. The exact definition for him right now, spending time just to see Jack and his cow keeping quiet without doing anything. Dusk had started to enter his place but, the old man who would give Jack gold seeds never came.
This incident is almost the same when he was in the story of Cinderella, waiting for the fairy godmother who did not come. Eventually Lindsey had to use the power of her necklace to help Cinderella.
Does he have to do it to Jack too? But it will change the storyline, and will likely change 360 degrees from the actual story. What would happen if the storyline here changed?
"Lindsey," exclaimed a man who did not reveal himself in front of Lindsey.
Lindsey was surprised, "Who is that?"
"Why are you still surprised when I call your name, I'm talking through this necklace" he said.
"Pardon me,"
"Hey, where have you been, huh? I'm waiting here like a madman!"
"You don't have much time, quickly help Jack and finish your work on this story,"
"You're telling me to just. You think it's easy to do that huh?"
"Because the old man didn't come too, then go up to Jack and give him this golden seed,"
When a bag appeared in front of Lindsey that seemed to float and fell to the ground, Lindsey took it and saw the contents of the bag. It turned out that it was a magic golden seed.
"Who? Where's the old man?" tanyakanya.
"He's on a sudden business,"
"Huh?! Business?" Lindsey jumped in shock with the words of her necklace, where might the story character have a sudden affair, indeed this is shooting a big screen film? This is a fairy tale, all the plot goes as it is. How strange.
"You're saying I should take over from an old geezer just to give Jack these seeds?"
"You don't have to be grandfathers, just walk up and give him the golden seeds. You want to get back to your world, right?"
"Yes, all right, you chatty bastard!" his gerrick.
To finish his work in this story, Lindsey approached Jack who seemed to be sitting on the ground and leaning on the body of his pet cow.
"Jack!" call Lindsey.
The one who was called turned to look at Lindsey with a confused look. "Who are you?" the tanyanya looks lethargic.
"I heard you sold your cow for 100 gold coins" Lindsey said.
"Yes, do you want to buy it?" sengas excited.
"I don't have any gold coins, but I have these magic gold seeds to buy .. your broom," Lindsey hesitated as she uttered her last sentence.
Buy a cow for what? Take her home? It's impossible, right?
"Well, take this cow and give me that magic golden seed." The impatient Jack handed over his cow and took the pouch from Lindsey's hand, quickly running away from Lindsey.
"God! I better leave this cow here, I have to catch up with Jack" he said.
...***...
Fortunately Lindsey still had time to chase Jack who ran quite fast from him. Jack stopped at a small house and was seen talking to his mother.
Lindsey who saw it could only eavesdrop from behind the bushes.
"Bother to hide like this in the bushes. Ouch, itch!" lindsey grumbled as she continued to scratch her hands and face.
"What?! You sold our cows just for these seeds? You stupid kid!" said Jack's mother with a look of annoyance.
"I'm sorry, ma'am" said Jack bowed to his mother's angry words.
The mother went into the house, while Jack threw the seeds on the ground and entered the house.
Lindsey who saw it could only widen her mouth and round her eyes.
"Gee! Why not plant it anyway, I better plant it. Jack here sucks.
He went into Jack's courtyard and settled down like a thief, and began to bury the seed in the ground and move away from the courtyard.
A wuushh!
Suddenly a large tree grew to towering heights above the clouds that came from within the ground where the seed was planted by Lindsey.
"Waaahh!" Lindsey was amazed to see the magic of the golden seeds given by her necklace.
Lindsey ran to Jack's house and knocked on the door.
"Jack! Get out!" lindsey shouted to call Jack from inside his house.
Soon Jack came out from behind his door and was shocked by Lindsey's arrival at his doorstep.
"You again? What are you here for?"
Jack directed his eyes to a large tree in his yard, when he was shocked and ran towards the tree.
"W-how can there be such a big tree here?" jack wondered.
"Don't ask too many questions, climb this tree quickly," Lindsey told Jack.
"What?! Climb it? This tree is so tall, I can't stand it" complained Jack who had given up before trying. Please don't be exemplified.
Lindsey patted his eel firmly and let out a long sigh.
"Geez, alright I will help you climb this tree, you spoiled child quickly ascend!"
"Yep,"
Jack begins to climb and Lindsey is behind him to help Jack if at any time the boy falls, at least there is Lindsey who catches Jack when he falls.
Let's hope this strong boy rises to the top, I will be troubled if I have to push him up.
They reached the end of the tree and saw a huge palace, the size of a giant. Lindsey also encouraged Jack to go inside and how surprised they were when they saw the entire palace made of gold.
At the end of the palace Lindsey and Jack saw a bag containing gold coins. Not only that, beside the big bed there was a golden egg and a very shiny golden harp. Jack who could not stand the sparkle immediately took the bag containing the gold coins, while Lindsey took some gold eggs.
Slowly they picked it up so that the sleeping giants would not be bothered by their arrival.
"Quick Jack!"
Jack nodded and immediately carried the large bag, immediately running towards the tree.
Jack and Lindsey began to descend the tree carefully so that the giant would not wake up from his sleep.
Upon reaching the bottom, Jack approached his mother and gave her a bag of gold coins, Lindsey also gave some golden eggs that he brought to Jack's mother.
"Where did you get this much gold?" asked Jack's surprised mother to see all the gold in front of her.
"From the tree," Lindsey replied as she pointed at the towering large tree.
"Yeah! Who took my gold!" a giant shout from above the sky was very clearly heard by the ears of Lindsey, Jack, and his mother.
"God! The giant woke up, what should we do?"
Lindsey was thinking about something that slightly disturbed his mind, he forgot the end of the Jack story he had read.
"Dude, I forgot how this story ends."
"So you took my gold! I can see you from up here!" the giant shouted back.
Suddenly the ground shook violently, making Lindsey, Jack, and his mother fall due to the vibrations made by the giant.
"It looks like the giant is coming down through this tree, what should we do?"
"Tree?" Lindsey is still trying to remember.
"Ah, I know!"
"What's? What do we do?"
"Jack! Quickly cut down this tree!"
"Well!"
Jack ran to get an axe from his house and started cutting down the tree.
Nah! Nah!
"W-what are you guys doing? Just stop! Don't cut down this tree!" giant shouting.
"Quick Jack!"
The tree fell to the ground with the giant falling from the sky. He groaned in pain and eventually died.
"Thank God,"
"Mother, we can sell these gold in the market, and we'll get some good food!"
"You're right, tomorrow we can sell this gold in the market and replace it with food."
"Thank you for helping me, do you have a name?" jack thanked Lindsey.
"Of course, my name is Lindsey."
Jack's mother approached Lindsey and gave him a bag of gold.
"Take this, son. You deserve it because you helped Jack out of that giant rampage,"
"Not necessarily, just keep it for you guys because what needs it more is you, I just help," he gently refused.
"You're so nice, thank you Lindsey,"
"Eh? Just don't-"
Ting!
Lindsey set her sights on the necklace around her neck and hurriedly gave a short message to Jack and his mother.
"Jack! Be a useful person to many, take care of your mother, and remember not to be gullible to anyone you understand?"
"Wait on! Why why?"
"My job is done, it's good to help you Jack. Oh yeah, I left your cow in the market, you can take it because I don't need it. Good bye Jack!"
And Lindsey disappeared from Jack and his mother's sight. They seem confused by everything that has happened.
