Perfect Wife Azraell
Chapter 30: Loneliness Again and Punishment

Veronica's face flushed with embarrassment. He pointed at Dareen. "You! Don't you intentionally damage my computer! My computer broke down the day you were seen here!"

"Who else did you break into this company anyway? Where are the security!" Veronica looked around her before looking back at Dareen. "I'll call security and have them take you."

Dareen did not respond much. Until a voice diverts everyone's attention. "What's this?"

Marvolo stepped up followed by the assistant and a few men who then looked at the crowd curiously. Marvolo frowned for a while when he saw Dareen and was about to call out to him when Veronica first spoke up. "Sir CEO."

"This girl suddenly broke into the company. I was just about to call security."

Veronica probably forgot what had just happened because in an instant she had already put on a gentle smile and looked at Marvolo with a gaze full of admiration. Of course, who would not be amazed by Marvolo's amazingly charming and attractive charm?

Marvolo glanced at Dareen who stepped closer to him. "You're making trouble?"

"What problem?" Dareen grinned, "I want cola by the way."

Marvolo coded Dareen to follow him as he said to the others. "Continue your work again."

Afterwards, he turned around and stepped along with the assistant and Dareen who were still stepping with both hands in his jeans pocket. Under everyone's gaze, Dareen and Marvolo were still chatting in voices that were still enough for some close people to hear. "Don't forget to add some strobery to it."

"Cola is no good."

"Then you'll give me milk? You're kidding me, right?"

"Brown milk is actually not too bad, you know. Too much soda isn't good for your body anyway."

Dareen glanced at Marvolo. "Now you are more and more like a father who is always nagging about what has to do with his child. Should I call you papa from now on, huh?"

Marvolo stared at Dareen blinking for a few seconds before smiling and patting Dareen on the shoulder, which he soon shook off. "Papa's proud of you my daughter."

"Come to the psychiatrist later. And anyway I want a soda."

Dareen kept his cool with his stance which made Marvolo turn his brain to let Dareen drink other drinks besides soda. "What about fruit juice? Whatever you want to ask you can get it. Besides soda. That soda is not good for your body."

Veronica and a few other employees and looked at the two people with such curious gazes. While Veronica is also panicked and anxious to learn that Dareen is an acquaintance of the owner where she works. What if Dareen pitted her ass off and interrupted her job even until she was fired?

Veronica's face paled, while the two people who were still arguing about the drink had passed through another door and entered a hallway that looked more private after taking the elevator to the top floor.

"What fruit is there?"

"What there is."

Dareen seemed to think before opening her voice. "Then I want avocado juice with added honey and almonds on top."

Marvolo looked at the assistant. "Arsein, call the kitchen immediately and have them make a glass of juice with honey and almonds on top. Ask to be taken to the room in the cold."

Arsein calmly nodded his head and sent a message to someone to relay an order from Dareen. The three then stepped into a room at the end of the corridor. Dareen occasionally circulated his gaze, staring at the walled photos and paintings before following Marvolo and Arsein into Marvolo's study.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable sofa and a formal work desk. Dareen immediately sat himself on the sofa, looking at his side, where he could face the magnificent Dutch leadership and leaned back to take some photos of himself out of boredom.

Arsein and Marvolo discussed some work-related matters and let Dareen wait. Five minutes later, Dareen's drink was delivered immediately and she waited as she sipped her avocado juice in a plain white straw.

"Alexa."

Hearing Marvolo's call made Dareen turn his head. "What?"

"Just want to know what happened after we split up. Looks like you did something fun."

Dareen bit her straw, looked back out the window and said, "I don't like your employees. If the virus isn't stopped, maybe all the computers in the room will be compromised because they're one channel."

"Oh, so you can tech?" ask Marvolo.

Dareen flicked her shoulders, did not answer and chose to play her phone and messaged with someone who made Dareen's smile grow and wide. Marvolo who was flipping the pages of the document on the desk looked at Dareen curiously. Who he sends a message until he is as happy as it is if the question is terbesit Marvolo.

...***...

Time passed quickly without feeling. The two originally alien humans quickly became familiar and close. Dareen and Marvolo in their own way began to become familiar, telling stories to each other and joking a lot with each other.

"Tomorrow I'll be back. It's been a month."

Dareen was tidying up the items she had been using for a month at Marvolo's residence. Honestly, Dareen was quite sad to leave the house, because inevitably Dareen had to admit that he was comfortable and felt calm living in Marvolo's house. The man never asked her anything in a pushy way and considered her as she was and did not comment much on her.

Marvolo styled dramatically on the doorway, holding his left chest and leaning weakly on the doorway which was obvious I was getting an ignorant response from Dareen who was still busy folding clothes.

"Gruby."

Marvolo smiled. "Don't forget papa, son, when you're out there. Remember papa will always be waiting for you at home."

Dareen snorted amusedly, but her smile could not bear it. "Darken and disgust me."

A few hours later, Marvolo looked at the empty building of his house. Just like before Dareen's arrival. He sighed and smiled a little sad. However, he had not felt the feeling of presence in the house for a long time. Marvolo was also an ordinary human who could feel a sense of loneliness, so he really felt that his day was quite colorful with Dareen's presence during this month. Although Dareen initially looked like an indifferent girl, difficult to touch and difficult to understand, after a month of living together, Marvolo began to be able to guess and understand the state of the girl, although Dareen still did not want to tell anything.

"So quiet again."

He murmured before closing the window.

...***...

A few days later

Plaque!

The sound of the slap echoed in the room where Dareen was standing. The man in front of him still raised his hand with a sharp gaze, grasping a piece of paper in his hand that displayed a streak of red ink inscribed with the number ninety-six.

"Why is your grade down?"

His voice was inflamed and he snapped with a sharp voice. In front of him, Dareen covered her blushing cheeks due to the slap with no change in expression on her face. He looked up, looking at the father who was still looking at him sharply, squeezing the paper in his hand angrily. "How can you proudly show your smile with just this kind of value? After you lose to that kid who's even younger than you?"

Jason pointed at Dareen's forehead and pushed her repeatedly with his finger. "Use your brains. How can you lose to him who is always second in rank? Don't you have any shame, huh?"

"It's not papa's business."

Jason snorting. "What?!"

"I live it, I live my life, why is it that papa who is so obsessed with making me always places perfect values? I'm also a human! I can get dizzy, I can get tired." Dareen replied in a voice filled with disappointment and anger that she had been quieting all along.

Jason's bead widened with anger and disbelief, while Roseana who stood behind Joshua looked at Dareen with a frown on her forehead. There was no intention for him to calm the husband who was about to explode. Joshua was right to explode the next second.

"Dare to answer?!"

Jason pulled Dareen's arm which made Dareen grimace due to the pain. She was forcefully dragged towards a room with Roseana who sighed and let the two pass.

"Father! Stop that!" Dareen struggled, but his strength as a woman was weaker than the father who was currently on the verge of overwhelming anger.

Jason took Dareen, pushed her into the empty room before grabbing a cane from the side of the door he closed. Dareen's bead trembled, she looked at Jason and stepped back involuntarily. His father's reddened gaze made Dareen's heart beat violently, threatened and helpless even though he knew that he could be severely injured.

"You must be punished to know how to behave as a child!"

When the rattan cane was lifted and the door was locked, only those in the house knew what Dareen was going through for half an hour. As half an hour passed, Jason stepped out of the room where Dareen was, locked the door and stepped away to sit beside Roseana.

"Darling, aren't you being too hard on Dareen?"

Jason looked at Roseana sharply. "My kids have to be perfect. Don't you want the same thing?"

Roseana took a breath. "yes too. The boy was too rebellious. Especially after he returned from abroad after being told by his mother, he actually experienced a decline in value."

Jason snorted coldly. "Don't feed him until tomorrow and lock him in his room for a whole week. Don't give him permission to use his cell phone or laptop."

"Huh, okay."

Both continued their activities. The servants passed by. Though they find out what's going on in the house, they choose silence to save themselves from the threat of losing their jobs. Although they sympathize with what happened to Dareen, they can only keep their mouths shut and help Dareen with just a little help like sneaking snacks through a door or window slit and then act as if doing nothing but work.

In the darkness of the room, with only a palm-sized window in the corner of the room, Dareen was lying on his side on the cold floor. The splattered blood imprinted on the white spell he wore, the terrifying-looking bruises and bruises were clearly reflected on his face.

His pair of emerald beads looked towards the small light in front of him and he slowly got up to sit and leaned against the wall with his head lowered.

His body hurts all.
