Perfect Wife Azraell

Perfect Wife Azraell
Chapter 27: Marvolo Reiver

New York City, 2007

"From today on, you will live with Marvolo."

Dareen had plaster on his face. There was a tear wound on the corner of his seedling, but his gaze remained sharp and contained an almost noticeable lazy gaze. Lucas looked at his grandson with a stern look, but Dareen stared back at him firmly. "I don't want to, grandpa."

"No objection, Reen."

"Your father told you that your attitude really does not reflect that of a woman. Fighting and fighting, not even a little bit of your mother told me while crying to your grandmother, saying that you never listen to them." Luke's words made Dareen's bead widen.

He lowered his head before looking up, putting on a wide smile on his face with a faint expression that was covered in his palm. "Very amazing." Mumbled.

"What did you say?" Hearing the grandfather's question, Dareen shook his head. "I still don't want to."

Lucas squinted his eyes, "Don't argue, Reen!"

"What about Kary?!" Dareen asked. "Don't compare Kary with Reen. He has nothing to do with your behavior."

"Not that!!" Dareen screamed in his heart. "Why do I have to live with people I don't even know?!"

"He's the granddaughter of your grandmother's best friend, Reen! Grandma said she's been preaching, you can go straight there, come to her." Lucas said again. "If you don't change your attitude, you should be more able to appreciate Kary. With your attitude like this, not only did you get into trouble, but Kary too!"

Dareen remained silent for two seconds, before nodding her head with a clenched hand. "good. All right, I agreed to stay with Marvolo."

Lucas nodded. "Then pack your things and grandpa will have Stevan escort you."

Dareen shook her head, "No. Just give me the address, and I'll go there myself."

Lucas was about to say before the 14-year-old girl interrupted him. "No but-but, grandpa. I've agreed to stay with Marvo or whoever it is. But I'll go there myself. If Grandpa doesn't believe I'm there, grandpa can call that guy when I get there."

Seeing his grandson's indisputable gaze, Lucas sighed and unwillingly allowed Dareen to go alone to Marvolo's residence. "Be careful when you go there. Take care of your food and correct your behavior."

"Marvolo is a young man of high manners and very well mannered. You can definitely get the right lesson if you stay with him. At least, granda hopes that your father and mother will no longer have any hassles facing you." Lucas made Dareen laugh.

Before turning around, and walking away.

Amsterdam, After Air Travel

After his second death in a car accident, Marvolo without siblings lived a hard life, fighting over his parents' legacy against his relatives who were crazy for wealth and crazy for power. But the intelligence and independence that had been instilled in him since childhood, managed to make him survive and win the top position.

Today, he has a guest.

The real guest was not expected of him, yet he could not refuse due to the circumstances.

"Hi, I'm Alexa. I thought my grandmother told you about my arrival today. I won't mince words and will go straight to his passion. Just live your life as usual and assume I don't exist. Is it just a formality understand? I have absolutely no intention of receiving any advice or teachings from you that they say are 'perfect', okay?"

Dareen stepped past him and dragged his suitcase in. Marvolo, sculpting in front of the door of his luxury apartment after hearing the narration from his guests. He turned his head with a strange smile, "How interesting is it!"

Marvolo closed the door, stepped over to Dareen who had been lying in bed in an empty room that seemed neatly arranged and without any dust. The teenager lay with his legs hanging, and hands holding his phone, apparently playing it without a word.

"Hello Alexa. It's a little unfair because I haven't introduced myself. I'm Marvolo, you can call me Marv. At first glance, since you are interesting, I want to teach you as your grandmother asked." Dareen's sharp gaze ignored him, but the man smiled.

"It's good to see you, Lexa."

Hearing that, Dareen only snorted and ignored Marvolo. He looked back at his phone and turned to Marvolo, who still had a smiling face. "Very annoying! Your face makes me not crave to eat, but from then on my stomach thrashed for food."

Marvolo smiled kindly, "Evening will be ready soon. Secure yourself here~"

Dareen. "Go!"

...***...

"Excuse me, is this worth mentioning as food?" Dareen commented after he bribed a mouthful of rice and side dishes that Marvolo had somehow served on his dinner table. Dareen had a strange face after bribing, but Dareen put back her calm face and only slightly frowned.

Marvolo has lived independently for a long time. Her busy parents hardly ever cook for her, and she has been served by a home cook. But since the incident where he almost died of poisoning, he fired all his subordinates and lived alone. Started his cooking training, and lived on his own made meals and meals. He admitted the food was not so good, but at least, it was edible.

"I'm sorry, young lady. What if we just order pizza or spaghetti?" He bargained for feeling that if he forced Dareen to eat her food or let Dareen not eat, she was equally evil.

Dareen snorted, ignoring Marvolo's offer and stepped into the pantry. He opened the refrigerator and found some cooking ingredients. He grabbed a small stool, opened a tall cabinet and found a box of spaghetti noodles. His outstretched hand grabbed the pot which immediately invited Marvolo's attention.

"Can you cook?"

Dareen pressed her shoulders. "Either, but at least, better than yours."
