Perfect Wife Azraell

Perfect Wife Azraell
Chapter 19: A Mother's Request

Azraell stared at the circular clock on his wrist before clucking in his heart. "They're too long."

"Eri, stay here and let me know if they find Aileen. I'll look for him too." Azrell's words made Eri's eyebrows swoop down, "Huh?"

"You mean I have to be hot in here waiting for a kid I don't even know? Are you kidding me, Zra? I have a photo shoot tomorrow. I just came here to see you! Not waiting for a little kid to disappear." Eri.

Azrell kept on urging Eri. "Darling, just for a second. You can take shelter under this tree. I'll be right back, and I'll go with you."

He went on to convince the woman, "I promise."

"Okay, okay! I'll do it." Eri kicked her foot once before finally turning around and sitting herself on the bench under a tree.

"But I hope you keep your word, Zra."

Azrael nodded. "Thank you, baby. I'll be right back."

After saying that, Azraell passed away looking for Aileen's whereabouts. Leaving Eri sitting cross-legged while playing her phone. He did not realize how long it was, but after he lowered his phone, he saw the zoo clerk he had seen with Azrael walking up to him with a child in his arms.

The boy lowered his head, but the woman had a premonition that she was the child meant by her lover.

"You found him? Where was he found?" Eri asked without standing up to welcome the two.

The officer explained honestly. "We found him hiding behind an abandoned building in the zoo, miss. After doing the CCTV check. Fortunately he wasn't hurt."

Eri looked at Aileen and told the officer to leave even without looking at her. "Then, go. Your job is done."

"But miss—"

"But what else? You need some money in return?" Hearing Eri's question, the attendant slightly furrowed his brows before replying firmly. "We help sincerely, miss. If our help is not acceptable to you, we apologize!"

And went away with an annoyed grunt in his mind and lips. "What an arrogant woman!"

Even though Eri heard the man's grunts earlier, he only glanced at him a glance before looking at Aileen who was still faithfully looking down at his place. Eri ordered him from behind his mask and glasses. "Lift your face."

Aileen did not raise her face, and did not even make a sound. The child who is usually always friendly and displays a cheerful face to anyone is just downcast silent. But his inertia unknowingly made Eri feel quite upset in his mind.

"Didn't you hear?" Eri raised his voice an octave higher. And re-ruled. "Bless your head!"

Never getting an answer, Eri's thread-thin emotions are attracted and broken. Making her stand up to Aileen and grab her shoulders firmly, making the child grimace. "Just!"

"I said lift your head!"

THE PLAQUE!

"Akh!" Feeling a loud slap landing on her brushed hand, Eri screeched and screamed. It almost attracted the attention of some zoo visitors.

"How dare you?!"

"If you dare to hurt my son, you will deal with me!" Dareen pulled Aileen to take cover behind her with her sharp gaze unable to lock Eri.

...***...

Azraell rubbed the sweat printed on his thin. Having almost surrounded the vast zoo, it was impossible for him not to feel tired. He would have just resumed combing if his phone hadn't rang.

"Hello?"

His wife? Maybe what was meant was Eri who was waiting at the place.

Azrell answered. "All right, thank you."

Immediately after getting an answer, Azraell saved his phone in relief and turned to return to the spot where he had left Eri. But what he found was a scene where Dareen, who was his wife, was raising his hand to throw a slap in the face of Eri who was his lover. Behind Dareen, there was a man unknown to her, holding Aileen who was hugging the man's neck tightly.

Azraell reacted quickly, holding Dareen's hand and standing up blocking Dareen from facing Eri. "Zra! Hiks, you're finally back!"

Azraell looked at Dareen a long time ago, before speaking up. "Can you explain?"

Dareen locked her second look back. Didn't say a word when Eri interrupted him. "Don't you see it? He's gonna slap me. What needs to be explained, Zra?!"

Dareen turned to look at Lyonne who was still trying to calm Aileen who was increasingly tightening her arms at Lyonne. "Lyonne, can you take Aileen away first."

Lyonne nodded her head. "Sure, I'll take her to meet Jullian. Maybe he can calm her down a little." And passed after glancing sharply at Azraell and Eri who also exchanged glances with him.

"Can I say that you have breached the contract?" said Dareen calmly as she looked at Azraell.

Azraell probably forgot about it a little, until Dareen said. "I'll help you remember. Article five, will not let Aileen meet and know your relationship with Eri."

"He doesn't know. I never told him or let him see us." Azrell defended himself.

Dareen shook her head firmly. "No, he saw it. He saw you, he saw it."

Dareen sighed. "I never demanded anything about our covenant Zra. But I beg you one thing. Don't hurt Aileen."

"He's the only one precious in my life."

...***...

"Aileen, is Aileen feeling better? Do you want to tell Papa Lyon?" Lyonne asked Aileen who had hidden her face in Jullian's little chest.

The ten-year-old occasionally patted Aileen's thin back, channeling comfort and a feeling of security. "Uncle, stay! Uncle scares him with uncle's ugly face."

"A-What? Pa-Uncle can't believe you can say that? Who is as handsome as uncle, scaring this sweet little guy?!" Lyonne's drama made Aileen's body move slightly.

His voice was muffled by Jullian, but it was clearly heard. "Papa Lyonne is ugly."

"Aileen~ How could you betray papa Lyon so easily? Papa can buy you ice cream, Jullian not~" cried fake Lyonne.

"It's because uncle is old." Jullian LEDEK.

Lyonne looked at Jullian in shock. "Two? Old uncle? Bad boy! Who's your uncle, let me kick his ass in your place!"

Aileen snorted and giggled. He peeked for a few seconds before hiding his face again with a burst of laughter. "Haha! Papa Lyonne is so funny! Papa wants to kick papa Lyonne's ass himself.. Haha!"

Lyonne commented a smile and looked at Jullian who raised his eyebrows next to her. "It always works."

He nodded, "Of course." Letting the place be filled with Aileen's laughter.

For a moment, let him forget his sadness. Even though Lyonne should look silly, it's no big deal. The boy's smile was worth more than his embarrassment.
