PAPER BOATS (Trapped by the Past)

PAPER BOATS (Trapped by the Past)
Chapter 2 STRANGE VIBRATIONS

Surya followed Nadia. Fearing Nadia will be mired if standing too to the edge of the cliff. The river is far below the cliff.

"See what else, Nad? Let's just go home, yuk," take Surya.

"I want to make sure my paper boat doesn't crash, Sur" Nadia said. His eyes could not be separated from the river water that was far below.

"Don't be crazy, Nad. Your boat is small, which can be seen from here," said Surya. It felt like he was dragging Nadia to leave the place immediately.

"That's it, Sur! Lookie! I marked it with a red heart! You can see, right?" Nadia pointed at a small object that floated and drifted following the flow of the river.

Surya looked at him with a puff. Nadia is like a child who finds his toys back. He's very excited.

"Yes, Nad. L see. But it's late afternoon. It's cloudy too" said Surya.

"Looking doesn't mean rain, does it? The evidence from earlier was cloudy, not tested either." It seemed like Nadia was still staring at the direction of the river flow.

"If it rains hard, Nad. Here there is only the hut for shelter. Are you ready to rain?"

"Why not? I haven't been playing games for a long time. If you don't want me, go home first, Sur." Nadia even drove Surya.

"You're crazy! Danger of girls alone in a deserted place like this." Surya finally gave up. He stood next to Nadia. Just in case not to let Nadia recklessly go back down.

"No, it's far away. Do you want to keep following him?" Surya pointed at Nadia's boat which was getting further and further out of sight.

Without replying, Nadia walked back to the small hut. Surya Gregetan saw Nadia instead sitting there. Instead of getting into his motorcycle seat and getting ready to go home.

"You're not going to stay in this club, are you?" ask Surya.

Nadia turned back. Surya looked at him in annoyance.

If only he could, it would be like Surya to hold Nadia's skinny body and bring her home.

But Surya never had any courage. Surya stepped up and stood right in front of Nadia's body.

He looked at the woman who had been his best friend for almost six years intensely. Nadia's eyes closed, as if enjoying an atmosphere that looks romantic if others see their togetherness.

Despite the fact, they are busy with their own feelings.

Surya turned his face when he felt Nadia's face and body was so tempting. Even though that face was mediocre. Without a single polish of makeup. And that body looks flat too.

Surya sat next to Nadia. He just let Nadia get dissolved in his imagination. Surya can only accompany as usual.

"Sur.." call Nadia.

"Hmmm..." Surya did not look at it one bit.

"I miss" said Nadia.

"Hhhh." Frankly, Surya's heart aches to hear it. Nadia kangen on the figure that had long disappeared.

As a friend, Surya also felt bad for God. The person closest to her was other than Nadia.

But all that he was extinct, seeing the fact that the gods disappeared and there was no news at all.

Nadia got up and sat down next to Surya. Surya stared far ahead.

"Surya Pradana's...!" Nadia was screaming. He was annoyed that Surya only replied with hhmm only.

"Yes, Nadia Sofia. Don't you need to scream. I don't budge," said Surya upset. Because Nadia was screaming right in her ear.

"Somehow, even daydream." Nadia immediately pouted.

"Don't say that, Sur. God is your best friend, too." Nadia does not like that the gods are considered lost. Because Nadia is sure, someday God will return.

"It's because he's my best friend. Huh, ah. Come home. It's afternoon." Solar stand. But Nadia did not move from her seat.

Surya stretched out his hand. Hope Nadia welcomes and wants to go home with him.

"Nad. I don't have to drag you home, do I?" said Surya who was getting upset.

"Since when did you turn into a forcible?" Nadia's eyes stared dislikefully at Surya's harsh attitude just now.

"I'm sorry, Nad. I just don't want us to be here last night. Lots of mosquitoes" Surya said.

I used to be the mosquito repellent, Nad. Inner Solar.

"Sura. Can I not ask for something with you?"

"What?" ask Surya. All this time he always obeyed whatever Nadia's will. Although sometimes like to protest first, but the ends follow also what Nadia wants.

"I want to go to that hill there. I want to see the sunset. I used to go there. It's beautiful" replied Nadia.

"Have you been there? When's? Same who?" tanya Surya. He felt as long as they were friends with Nadia, never once they went there.

And Surya is almost always everywhere and wherever Nadia goes. Except for family business. Even so, sometimes Surya was invited also by his mother Nadia.

Susi, Nadia's mother, is quite close to Surya. Maybe because his son was friends with him for a long time too.

Nadia patted her forehead. He's flippant. He shouldn't have to say the things he kept secret first with the Gods.

In the past, after they tutored extra lessons at school, Dewa took Nadia to the small hill. Coincidentally Surya had gone home first because there was his brother who came from outside the city.

Since first grade, Surya often took her to the hill. But the Gods always rejected him on the grounds of pity Nadia. Because far. At the time, none of them had a vehicle. Until to get there must be a walk, after getting off the angkot.

Coincidentally that day, God got a motor loan from his father. At first just want to get there faster and go home with no overnight.

Because among them, only God is the farthest home. Nadia and Surya are still a housing complex.

"We're both alone? Later if Surya knows, it's not good" said Nadia at the time.

"We don't have to tell Surya. Easy, right?" dewa Sahut.

Reluctantly, Nadia nodded. After all, Surya was their best friend. Nadia felt like she was cornering if they left alone.

Because the weather was very sunny, Nadia said. He hugged the gods to the not-so-high hill.

There, they can enjoy the cool air in the afternoon as well as sunset.

Nadia who has a phone with a better camera, many times take sunset pictures. Selfies too.

"I also want us to take a picture of you, Nad," said Dewa.

Without the slightest suspicion, Nadia posed both Gods. At first it was just a regular pose. But in the next shot, God hugged Nadia's waist. And their positions are very close together.

That was when, Nadia started to feel a strange vibration in her chest. A vibration he had never felt before.

Especially when they accidentally met their cheeks, Nadia's face immediately blushed.

His heart was beating very fast. What's wrong with my heart? Nadia asked herself.
