PAPER BOATS (Trapped by the Past)
Chapter 107 LEARNING TO EAT SALTED FISH

Surya is staring at the photo on Yogi's phone.

"You know him?" ask Yogi.

Solar is silent. He was still shocked to see the photo of the person who had long disappeared.

Yogi and Sinta just looked at each other. Then let Surya back in the hook.

Surya breathed.

"Where did you get this photo?" ask Surya.

Yogi took back his phone. Then normalize the photo again, until it looks the whole photo.

Yogi gave it to Surya again.

Surya was watching him closely. Then look at the people in the photo. Especially Viona who was embraced by the Gods.

"Today my parents and me, nganterin mak Yati returned home. We just walk to the beach." Yogi paused his story. Give Surya time to digest it well.

"At the beachfront restaurant, we met Viona. He came with the guy. He introduced himself by the name of Putra, "Yogi continued.

"God Putranto!" sahut Surya, mentioned the long name of the God.

"The boy turned out to be Viona's lover, Bro," Yogi said.

Solar gasp.

"Love?" surya did not believe it.

"Yes. I don't know since when. But when I talked to my son, he said they had only met twice. An accidental meeting, at the port," Yogi replied.

Surya took Yogi's story seriously.

"Son was a sailor. He works on the ship where we photographed it."

Yogi let Surya open the other photos.

Surya's chest rumbled. His heart is beating fast.

On one hand, he is very happy. Because he can finally rediscover his long-lost best friend.

But on the other hand, there are concerns. How about until Nadia finds out, if the gods are still there.

What about the fate of his romance with Nadia just a matter of days?

Nadia is going back to chasing the gods. The person he had been waiting for his arrival.

"It looks like Viona also knew she was named Son. Not a god" said Yogi.

Sinta was silent. Dare not comment. He understood his brother's heart.

"Do you have her number?" ask Surya.

Yogi.

"She said, since working at sea, she never held a phone again. The reason at sea is no signal" replied Yogi.

"Didn't Viona have her number?" surya asked doubtful Yogi's words.

Because the son could lie. You may not want to share your phone number with anyone else.

"Viona said so. And it seemed to be their meetings, only when the ship where the Son worked was leaning. In the harbor of her hometown Viona," replied Yogi.

"Squeaky. It makes no sense" Surya said.

"Gue thought so too, Bro. Inadvertent meetings can be twice. And they fell in love with each other, without any communication beyond that" Yogi said.

Surya nodded.

"Is the ship still leaning there?" ask Surya.

"What do you want? Chase over there? Crazy, lu!"

"It's not. I can call Viona. Then video call with the Gods," said Surya.

"But he said this afternoon his ship was ready to sail again. In the new months the ship will return to the port" Yogi said.

Surya breathed.

"OKAY. I'd like to ask you a favor, Yog. Please keep that photo a secret from Nadia" Surya said.

Yogi.

"To be honest, Nadia and I are doing better. Even we have decided to weave.cinta," said Surya.

Sinta and Yogi are both dumb.

"Nadia's been aware of her ridiculousness all along. Waiting for a long-lost person and no news" Surya continued.

"Lu's sure Nadia will forget the gods?" ask Yogi.

"I'm trying to be sure. But after seeing the photo, I became not sure Nadia would defend me," replied Surya.

Yogi and Sinta compactly nodded.

"That's why I asked you for help, Yog. Keep the photo secret from Nadia. Let him not know that the gods are still there" said Surya.

"But the Lord is it the same with Viona?" Sinta who from just now was just silent and nodded, opening her voice.

"Everything can happen, right? You know, Nadia faithfully waited for the gods almost three years. And during that time he closed his heart to anyone" said Surya.

"She just opened it up again yesterday. It was also at the instigation of aunt Susi. And he said, I don't have any more friends after we're far away" Surya continued.

"So you're just his escape, Bro?" ask Yogi.

"I realize that. And all I have to do is, never let Nadia run again. Like I'm a port and he's his ship, I won't give him access to his return sail" Surya said.

"And you again sacrifice the feeling, if one day the ship continues to sail," said Yogi.

"I will fight with all my might, let the ship go nowhere!" sahut Surya's.

"Gue just wants to take care of you, bro. Fighting alone will be very painful," said Yogi.

Solar is silent.

"Don't exercise yourself, bro. If you're not feeling strong, just wave your hand to the camera. Haha."

"Ih, what the hell, A'. The people are serious too, even kidding." Anxiously, Sinta pinched Yogi's arm.

Yogis are always able to melt the atmosphere.

"Let's not get tense! You broke his nerves!" yogi Sahut.

Surya just grunted annoyedly. Yogi's habit is always joking when others are serious.

"Udah mau maghrib. Pray for maghrib there. Yogi's having dinner here, huh? Ajarain Surya just as Sinta eat salted fish!" rahma said from the door of the house.

"Yes, Auntie," replied Yogi happily. In her own home, there was her mother and father.

Yogi is already comfortable with Surya's family who are well-come to him.

Yogi follows Surya to the room. Sinta went into her own room.

Despite deciding to date Sinta, Yogi wants them to have a healthy relationship.

Because Yogi thinks Sinta is still a child. So Yogi feels like his own sister.

After Maghrib, Rahma called them to dinner.

Yogi's eyes immediately sparkled, looking at his favorite side dish. Salted fish. There is also the patio and lalapannya.

"Come Yogi, take it first." Toni invites Yogi as a guest, to take first.

"Om the same old aunt." Yogi refused, feeling bad. Precede to older people.

After all taking the rice and side dishes, Yogi starts to get cool with his salted fish.

Sinta looked at him in wonder. From the shape alone, Sinta is less interested.

"Want? It's delicious" Yogi told Sinta.

With hesitation, Sinta took it a little. Then taste.

"Howek...! So salty!" exclaim Sinta. He's mopping her up.

"Eh, can't do that, ah. Not polite!" rahma.

"It's so salty, Ma!" sahut Sinta's.

"The name is also salted fish, Neng. If the taste is sweet, so while looking at me," said Yogi.

Everyone there laughed. Except Surya. He again tried to chew on the salted fish that he had only eaten once.

"Eat a lot, Bro. Who knows if someone might sail! There every day you eat salted fish!" whisky Yogi.

Surya immediately stepped on the feet of Yogi who was sitting next to him.

"Aw!"
