"Young...! Climb in. There is danger. Sometimes a crocodile comes out of the nest!" surya on Nadia.
Surya has been Nadia's best friend since they were in high school. Their friendship remains so far.
Nadia was still focused on staring at her paper boat which began to drift away by the river water. The flow of water that is not too swift in this river, Nadia selected so that her paper boat can go successfully to the sea.
Surya soon descended a fairly steep cliff. Because Nadia ignored him.
"Nad! What are you doing again?"
Nadia looked at me. His hand pointed towards his paper boat which had started to drift away.
"What?" Surya tried to follow Nadia's hand.
"Paper milk" replied Nadia. His eyes did not escape from that.
"Paper milk? Got who?" ask Surya. He felt there was nothing special about the boy's toy boat.
"Yaku, Sur. I made it last night" replied Nadia.
"So you came all the way here just to get rid of it? It's so weird of you, Nad. Kind of like a kindergarten child," said Surya.
Nadia stood up, when the boat was no longer visible. He was sure the boat would get to its destination.
"The boat contains my handwriting, Sur. My heart's outpouring. About my love. About my waiting that has not yet ended. Hopefully somewhere else, somewhere, God finds and reads it" Nadia said.
The god is Nadia's best friend, also Surya. They've been together since first grade High School. But it turns out Nadia has different feelings for the Gods.
And dipper together. The gods feel the same. He always missed Nadia more than a friend.
And finally they decided to date, after asking Surya for permission as a friend. With a heavy heart, Surya allowed it.
And after they graduate, God and his family move out of town. Since then, they have lost contact. The gods never gave us any news.
Stay Nadia with Surya, keep that friendship. Wherever they are always both. Many people even think they are lovers.
"Huh...?" Surya's eyes immediately widened. He didn't expect this friend of his to be such an insane person. Then Surya laughed out loud.
Nadia scrunched her forehead.
"Is something funny?" ask Nadia.
"Yes. You're hilarious. Very funny, Nad," replied Surya stopped his laughter for a moment, then returned laughing.
Nadia has often done silly things that are beyond reason. Although Surya is used to it, but this time according to Surya is very extraordinary.
Nadia pouted and turned her face away. He looked again at the river. The paper boat is gone.
Surya had calmed back down, then he pulled Nadia's hand to leave the place immediately.
"Princess, Sur. I want to be here first." Nadia tried to pull Surya's hand away.
"You ujan. Look at the sky getting dark. You want some rain here?"
Nadia looked up at the sky. Also true. It's starting to cloud.
"Will my boat be destroyed by rain, Sur?" nadia asked worriedly.
"Yes that. Make him use paper. Wear wood. Let it be waterproof and stormy," ledek Surya.
"When I use wood, how do I write my heart out, Sur?"
Surya staggered while blowing his breath. He remembered how old Nadia and the Gods were as inseparable Romeo and Juliet. And herself? Like the mosquito repellent that is always among them.
"You still expect it, Nad?" surya asked slowly.
"If she still loves you, why didn't she come here and keep her promise?"
Nadia looked at Surya's face.
"Have you ever promised anyone anything, Sur?" Nadia asked back.
"You mean?" Surya did not understand Nadia's question as if to divert the conversation.
"After you promise someone, you will definitely try to keep it, right?"
Surya nodded. He still didn't understand where Nadia was talking.
"So does God. One day he will definitely come to fulfill his promise, Sur," said Nadia confidently.
Surya gawked at Nadia's words. You were so expecting it, Nad. What if he never comes forever? Are you also forever going to let your life in wait?
"Let's ride. I'll take care of you from here" Surya asked. The road to the village road is quite steep. Somehow Nadia got to the bottom.
Surya who looked for her here and there, finally found Nadia on the edge of the river that was very quiet.
With great difficulty, they finally arrived on the streets of the village. The village is not far from the housing complex where they live.
"You were on foot, was he here?" ask Surya. He didn't see Nadia's favorite matic bike.
Nadia nodded. Obviously he was on foot, because he had surveyed the location before, and was confused to park his bike if he brought it.
Surya parked his motorbike near a club, which did not belong to anyone.
Surya took Nadia to the club. Nadia preceded him and immediately laid down her body. The hut was pretty clean. It seems like people often use it for rest.
"Nad. I've been trying to find a god. Through social media, through our friends, through the neighbors first. Result nil. There is no information about the gods" Surya said. He sat facing Nadia's supine body.
"Me too, Sur. I could never find a single point of clues about the existence of Gods. But I won't give up" said Nadia, then closed her eyes.
Nadia is fantasizing, someday her arjun will fulfill his promise.
"And forever will you torment your mind with futile waiting?" ask Surya.
Nadia opened her eyes and sat down. His eyes looked hard at Surya's eyes.
"You doubt it?"
Surya nodded.
"Do you know what God is? Three years we've known him, Sur. Did he ever, ever, ever break a promise?" Nadia tried to recall their memories with all the goodness of God.
"Time can change the nature of a person, Nad," said Surya.
Nadia shakes.
"No, Sur. Others can change. But not with the gods" said Nadia for sure. He was always convinced that the Gods were still always loyal to him.
"Don't be too sure, Nad. I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. We've been separated for three years. And there's never been any sign that he's coming back." Surya looked into Nadia's beautiful eyes. Eyes that can hypnotize anyone who looks at him.
"It's also been three years, Sur. A thousand years I will wait for him" said Nadia. His eyes looked the other way.
"Lebay you! Like a poet who makes love poems!" Surya pushed Nadia's shoulder slowly.
"Bi.arin. Hey, look over there!" Nadia pointed in a direction. The river is flowing slowly. He could see the river from a distance.
Nadia immediately ran back to make sure the paper boat did not crash and would get to her destination.
