PAPER BOATS (Trapped by the Past)
Chapter 156 LOVE HAS NO LOGIC

Surya stared at Nadia who continued to step with her backpack.

Nadia's headed to the reception desk. Then handed me the room key.

I want to run and hold Nadia. But it feels free. Nadia was too loud and petrified.

The gods turned, following Surya's gaze.

Nadias. Where the hell is he going? Ask the God in his heart.

Nadia looked up and looked at the god. It was as if a magnet was leading him to look.

Slowly the God released his hand from Viona's shoulder.

Viona looked over. And he saw Nadia staring at the God.

Possessively, Viona grabbed back the hands of the Gods.

Surya could only watch it with a broken heart.

Then the gods turned to Surya.

"Sur, I'll leave Viona for a moment" said Dewa.

Viona felt like she was just an item. As if the gods were.

Surya did not answer.

Then the God tries to release Viona's hand again.

"Where are you going, son?" ask Viona.

"You're the same Surya, just a minute. I want to see him" replied the Lord.

"No, Son! I'm coming!" viona Sahut.

"You wait here. I promise, this is the last time" said the Lord.

"Son...!" viona said she would not let go of the gods.

The god looked at Viona's eyes sharply.

Viona. He took back the hand of God. But the gods avoided.

"Son....!"viona.

The gods don't seem to care about Viona anymore. He walked away from Viona and chased after Nadia.

"Son...!" call Viona.

Surya grabbed Viona's hand.

"God, Vi. Give them a chance" Surya said.

"What opportunity?" viona asked started sobbing.

"Maybe they need a chance to talk. Let it go first" said Surya.

Surya spoke as if he could let go of Nadia. In reality, he was also very injured.

"No, Surya. They'll be back. Nadia will take my son away from me!" viona Sahut.

"No way, Viona. The gods are yours. Even though Nadia is no longer mine." Surya's voice is weakening.

Viona turned towards Surya. Surya's eyes radiated despair.

But Surya tried to stay strong. Saw Nadia and the Gods coming out of the hotel area.

"Where are they going, Surya?" ask Viona.

"Eitherway. Leave it alone" replied Surya.

"But Surya..." Viona could no longer hold back her emotions. He ran after the gods.

"Son...! Wait for me!" yell Viona.

The gods don't mind it. He kept walking away.

Surya's after Viona. Then he grabbed Viona's shoulder.

"You don't have to chase after him. Wh-wh-what for? To humble yourself?" ask Surya.

"I will defend mine, Surya!" answer Viona.

"But he doesn't feel like he has you, Viona. Look, he just went and ignored you!" sahut Surya's.

Surya thought, Nadia is no longer his. Because Nadia has chosen to go with the Gods. In front of his eyes.

As low as Surya, he would not accept being treated like this. She thinks Nadia has cheated on her.

And this is no longer like yesterday. Where Nadia only mentions the name of the God, or re-nostalgic with her past fantasies.

It's real!

And Surya was very hurt.

"No, Surya. You'll keep it!"

Viona who was also very stubborn, ran after the Gods and Nadia.

Surya just stared at him with pity.

Wearing once!

Surya sighed deeply, then threw it away slowly.

After feeling calmer, Surya shook his head and closed his eyes for a moment.

He seemed to be trying to throw all the resentment, anger and all the bad things out of his head.

Surya sighed again, then tried to smile and stepped onto the reception desk.

"This is my room key, ma'am. I checked out today," Surya said kindly.

"Yes. Thank you for visiting our hotel. Goodbye and have a good day" said the receptionist who has occasionally noticed Surya and his friends.

"Thank you, Ma'am. Excuse me," said Surya. Then he walked out of the hotel.

Surya took his car in the parking lot.

The first place he would go to was the harbor. Not to follow the gods. But Surya will be looking for Yogi and Sinta.

He'll say goodbye to the two of them who reasoned his cell phone was all dead.

Surya was actually upset and could not believe their reason for that one.

But yeah, that's it. Surya thought, sometimes love has no logic.

Love can change a person's character.

For example, himself. A fine man, can turn violent. Started to drink to get drunk, to become a rapist.

Uh. Crazy one!

I'm fucking crazy!

Surya hit the driver of his car hard.

"Udahlah. I promise, I'll bury and forget everything. I'm male. I'm not burdened by anything. I'm not losing anything. What else should I think?" surya said slowly, to himself.

"Heh. I'm talking to myself. Does love drive me crazy too? Nah! I don't want to be crazy! I don't want to lose my sanity!" said Surya again slowly.

Then Surya chuckled to himself.

"Funny! It's so funny!"

Surya began to press the gas of his car, and drove it slowly. Like his intention. He's going to the harbor looking for Sinta, his sister.

His sister who he thinks is now much more important than Nadia.

His sister he had to take care of. Although there are Yogis who are ready to take care of Sinta.

In the middle of the journey that was not too far away, Surya saw three people who had lost their logic, were fighting.

Hhh! Surya grunting. Then chuckle to myself again.

I don't want to be a part of them! I don't want to be a spectacle for people! How humiliating!

Surya saw, some pedestrians were staring strangely or maybe kepo at the three of them.

Surya passed by honking his horn twice.

Tin.

Tin.

Surya also left. From his rearview mirror he saw the three of them speechless. Their eyes were staring at Surya's car.

Maybe they expected me to come and fight.

Hhh!

Women are not just you, Nadia. I'll prove that I can love another woman!

Why expect you to be like a rock!

Then Surya imagined throwing the stone into the middle of the ocean and drowned there.

Surya's car did not feel until it was also on the beach, near the port.

Surya got out of the car, and started looking for the two brats.

He stared at the many ships leaning on the harbor, from where he stood.

So many people pass by. Understandably, the day is not too late. Even though the sun was starting to feel hot.

And those people passed by without fear of the sun-baked skin.

Just pantes, the skin of God became dark brown. Every day he challenged the sun.

Surya looked at the sun that was radiating valiantly.

"Hey, the sun! I want to be like you. That never changes even if the storm comes. Tomorrow, you will shine again. Like nothing ever happened to you!" surya said to himself.

"Are you crazy, Bro?" Yogi's voice made Surya almost jump.

Haha. Yogi and Sinta laughed.

"Love has no logic!" exclaim Yogi. Then back to the chuckle.
