Nindy (Hijabers Norak Conqueror of the Heart)
66. The Repentance of a Sinner

Seconds of the clock kept turning, moving in rhythm with the time rotation that kept rolling. Sweat drops soaked the temples, accompanying anxiety in the chest that is now scavenging.

Yang Pou Han sat on the waiting chair, staring straight at the operating room door that was in front of him. For a long time, he felt the time waiting for that moment. He wanted to break down the closed door to see how Nindy was doing now.

How did Nindy struggle against her illness there?

Was Nindy able to get through all of it without Yang Pou Han by her side? This is a big operation. It has a lot of surgeons in it.

A person can lose their life in the operating bed, because according to the Doctor the percentage of success and failure is the same, which is fifty percent. If the operation is successful, then Nindy has a new life expectancy. If it failed, there was nothing Yang Pou Han could do but let go of his beloved wife.

He's powerless to imagine Nindy's not going that fast. They just expressed love to each other. Just now she made Nindy smile happily because of the love she had poured out, but she had to experience heartbreaking things like this. Nindy should be able to be happy longer, get love and happiness from her husband and only child, Anya.

Yang Pou Han pinched his temple which felt dizzy and throbbing. Too anxious and many thoughts make his head like hit by a big stone, pain and dizziness. The man was faithfully glued by staring at the operating room that was still turning on the red light on it, tightly closed without any gaps.

A doctor was seen coming out of the operating room after a while, but the emergency lights remained on, indicating the operation was still going on inside.

Yang Pou Han immediately got up from his seat, stepping over to the Doctor. "How's my wife's condition, Doc?"

The male doctor looked to be clearing his throat for a moment after sighing violently. "We're trying. Please be patient and prepare your heart with the bad possibilities!"

"What do you mean?" Yang Pou Han sharpened the look in his eyes, plunging towards the Doctor.

"Critical patient. Only God can change his destiny. Pray for his recovery, let us fight." The doctor patted Yang Pou Han on the shoulder before leaving the man.

Yang Pou Han scrambled his hair roughly. He looked messy, with a disheveled face and disheveled hair. It is very different from its everyday appearance which is always neat and fashionable.

Praying for Nindy's recovery? Can he do it? Is he not a devout man, will God listen to his prayers?

Yang Pou Han did understand prayer, but sometimes he neglected it. He knew it was an obligation after he decided to accept Nindy's conviction, but sometimes the feeling of laziness and reluctance to move on when work was piling up made him negligent. It is the duty of a Muslim.

Until when Yang Pou Han was faced with such a strenuous test right now, his heart was doubtful. He was ashamed to ask, because he did not do his duty properly.

Yes, Yang Pou Han realized, when faced with death, then humans will feel dwarfed in front of the Creator. Life is not a toy that can be removed. There is a person who deserves that life, but still God governs how long the life resides in the owner of the body.

It used to be that one's life was a toy to Yang Pou Han. He would easily wipe out a person's life, just to make things easier. He never thought that any other substance had the right and full power over that life. He easily forcibly took the life of a real person beyond his capacity as a fellow human.

Is God punishing him for his past mistakes? Can he be forgiven for the many sins he has committed before? His hands were covered in blood, his mouth was frequently jabbed. Liking to provoke and demean others is his pleasure. Really Yang Pou Han felt himself so vain.

And at this time, Yang Pou Han felt fear that the small and weak life that was residing in Nindy's body would be taken by the Powerful. Hasn't that woman always been hurt in the world? Is it not enough for God to test Nindy with what she has experienced since childhood? Or, all that happened to Nindy was just to reprimand Yang Pou Han and remind him of his past sins? If that's true, then he's the one to blame for what happened to Nindy.

Yang Pou Han's body hung onto the floor, knocking down all his arrogance and arrogance all along. He was helpless with his powerless limp body. His hopes were dwindling, staring at the operating room door that was still tightly closed with the lights still on.

He rested, raised both hands, humbled to the one Khalik, God of repentance. His tears flowed profusely, soaking his temples and cheeks as an apology was thrown at his lips. Apologies for the sins he had committed were heard shaking with sobs.

Does not God love the repentance of a sinner rather than the prayer of an arrogant pious man?

His religious knowledge is small, not even there. However, he was aware that with his own smallness and helplessness before God, he needed God's intervention.

Only God can heal Nindy. Not the Doctor, not Yang Pou Han with all his power. The prayers are upended with all the sincerity and hope that still exists. Doesn't God not like it when he gives up? Yang Pou Han still hung his hope above the sky, knocking on the arsy where God was residing.

Just when Yang Pou Han was sobbing in silence in front of the operating room, someone patted his shoulder. He turned his head for a moment, looking at who had interfered with his prayers.

Yang Pou Han was flabbergasted, surprised by who was standing behind him. "Sean Paderson?"

"I'm not late, am I?" sean said with a look back, giving a code to someone who was hiding behind him.

Yang Pou Han's eyes followed Sean's movements. And immediately the person behind Sean's body moved forward, standing beside Sean Paderson.

"I've checked it out, and the match rate is almost ninety percent. He's ready to do it."

Yang Pou Han looked doubtful, but he nodded approvingly. There was no other choice, but the safety of Nindy. The man looked back at the man with a different look. Yes, he, someone Yang Pou Han had long sought to help Nindy was finally found.
