The anxiety was clearly visible on the man's face as he received word from the waiter, if Nindy collapsed in his room. They had taken Nindy to the hospital before Yang Pou Han arrived home.
He was worried when he left for work this morning. Nindy looked pale, paler than before. However, she was not too worried, as Nindy was safe in her home. However, upon receiving news that Nindy had fainted in the room, Yang Pou Han regretted leaving the woman to work.
He pushed the door, where the doctor's room handled Nindy specifically. He stepped back, then sat down at the woman's doctor's desk before being welcomed.
"What happened to him?" yang Pou Han asked impatiently. His face looked messy with hair that was not neatly arranged as usual.
The doctor's face looks grim, enough to show if Nindy's condition is not okay.
"I'm very sorry about this, Mr. Yang. Your pregnant wife is in a bad state. I am so sorry to know that too late. I hope you can deal with it calmly. Your wife is in desperate need of your support."
"Don't convolve! Tell me, what happened to Nindy?"
The doctor seemed to take a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. His net caught a thick anxiety within the man. But there was nothing he could do but tell the truth. "Mrs Yang, she has stage one stomach cancer."
"A-pa?"

Yang Pou Han stepped limply as his foot nearly reached Nindy's treatment room. He could not bear to say the truth. The happy face of Nindy who was previously seen because of her pregnancy, will definitely turn moody and sad.
Just now Yang Pou Han was happy for the woman, who had always felt suffering from birth and inner pressure. And the bad news that Nindy will receive this time, will definitely destroy the hope of the woman to get the happiness she is waiting for.
Yang Pou Han slowly opened the door of the room, and found Nindy lying there. Their gaze met each other with a smile perched on Nindy's lips to find Yang Pou Han had been present to meet her. What could be happier than worrying about a loved one?
Yang Pou Han stepped closer, towards the gurney with wide steps. Their gazes were still met with forced knot smiles, which were as powerful as Yang Pou Han had formed for Nindy's sake. The man's steps came to a halt, as his knees touched the edge of the gurney, then sat on the empty side. "How are you?" ask Yang Pou Han then.
"Well, sorry to worry you."
"It's okay." Yang Pou Han looked down, unable to hide his sad look in front of Nindy. His mind was already very chaotic, imagining how Nindy would feel if she knew the truth.
But he has to be strong. If not, how could he encourage Nindy?
"Which, what are you thinking? Why are you that sad?" nindy asked with a clutch of Yang Pou Han's hand.
Yang Pou Han smiled in a knot, trying to come to terms with the thought, but he had to say his intentions were probably going to make the woman's feelings crumble upon hearing it.
"Ndy, I need you to abort your womb."
Instantly Nindy's hand was released. His net was perfectly rounded with a whack of surprise, encompassing.
No, he heard wrong, didn't he? What Yang Pou Han just said was just a joke, surely the man was just joking with his words.
"What are you saying, Yang?"
Nindy gasped at what had just been ejected from Yang Pou Han's lips. How the man could easily pronounce the word "abort" as if the life that was currently struggling inside his womb was completely worthless.
"You want to kill our son? Our flesh blood? No, I'm not gonna do that. He's my son. If you don't want to accept his presence, I can take care of it myself. Don't expect me to abort this kid, Yang. Don't hope!"
"Thanks!"
"No! Just go! I don't want to talk to you!" Nindy turned around, turning her back to Yang Pou Han. Her tears melted, soaked her cheeks, flowing over the pillow she was wearing.
How could Yang Pou Han want to finish off a baby that was still very weak in its womb? Why is he so bad? Did he not love that child at all?
Nindy would never want to do something that could endanger her son's life. It will never! He will sacrifice his life for the sake of the child even though his father does not want him.
Didn't her mother do the same? Although heavy, in fact his mother can do that. Nindy can do the same for her baby.
One pat on Nindy's right shoulder made the woman wipe her tears.
"Nindy, I love that kid. But I can't lose you. I have to choose one. Do you understand? It's very difficult for me, but I still have to do it."
Nindy immediately turned around, her back touching the bed again in a supine position. He stared at Yang Pou Han who looked chaotic with a face full of tears. No, the man was even more chaotic than he expected. Nindy could see the despair from the man's face.
"Which, what do you mean? What the hell is going on?"
The man rubbed Nindy's head affectionately, downhill touching the woman's cheek, then stroked her.
"Sorry, it's got you pregnant. I should have found out about this a long time ago. Since the first time you often fainted due to pain in your stomach. I should have checked it further. But I just ignored it. I'm sorry, Nindy. Ii'm sorry. Everything that happened was my fault."
"Which, what do you mean? Say it right! What the hell's going on? Don't confuse me!"
Nindy was powerless to hold all the curiosity stirring in her chest. Yang Pou Han never answered, with a face that was already unpleasant to look at. The man was just silent and unmoved on the spot. Until Nindy's hand shook the man's arm, as if she was pulling Yang Pou Han's daydreams to immediately return to the surface, the man rubbed his eyelids twice, then looked at the clear bead that belonged to Nindy who was also looking at him.
"There's cancer lodged in your stomach. You can do treatment and healing if there is no fetus contained in your womb. Nindy, this is a very difficult decision for me. I love you guys. If only it could be exchanged, it would be better for me to experience it."
The clear dew in Nindy's eyes grew louder, flowing smoothly down her cheeks and face. He doesn't know all that. However, the word cancer must be closer to death. Although many people can survive cancer, but they have to undergo various medical treatments both natural, and chemical. Even the most painful and hated chemotherapy that people with cancer have to do for the sake of healing.
However, what about the weak fetus that is currently struggling to live in his stomach? Nindy could not endanger the life of the sacred fetus for the sake of his recovery. He would not be able to forcibly take away the life that his heart had just begun. Nindy felt like she was a selfish mother, having no conscience to do that. Until one difficult decision, he must immediately take.
"I will fight for this boy, Yang. I will not be able to sacrifice it just for my recovery. I want this child to be born. She deserves to be born into this world, she deserves life just like any other fetus. Yang, please! Don't abort this kid. My regrets will be greater and I will bear my whole life if I do."
"But ...?"
"Please. Give this boy a chance to live. I will try my hardest to give birth to her. Promise me, Yang!"
