CHAPTER 53

Hannah returned home in between by Demitri, when Hannah arrived home the state of the house was deserted because there was no sound Axel, Axel was already asleep in his dream.

There was only Darlen and Giovano sitting watching television together in the living room that Hannah met as she walked into the house.

“How was her date? smoothly?” asked Darlen while changing his sitting position to upright, he looked curiously at Hannah who was opening her shoes before putting the shoes back on the shoe rack.

“You do anything?" asked Darlen again, Giovano pinched his arm slowly. Try to remember Darlen not to urge Hannah to tell him about her personal problems if Hannah does not want to do it.

“Sick Vano, I'll just ask. It's their first date, I didn't mean to interfere. I just want to know if Demitri treats Hannah well or not.” Darlen snorted angrily, he turned back to Hannah who was now sitting on her couch leaning on the head of the sofa.

Darlen sees Hannah taking a heavy breath before releasing her with a loud sigh, as if to show that something is bothering her, something is on her mind.

“What's up? Demitri didn't do anything bad to you, did she?” now Darlen's tone of voice became heavier, a sign that he was seriously asking. Darlen's eyes also showed concern. Darlen is worried because Hannah does not look happy after going home with Demitri.

Hannah actually returned with a sour face, of course Darlen was made to panic because of it.

Hannah shook her head, Demitri has not done anything bad to her. Hannah felt guilty for Demitri because she had rejected Demitri's ring.

“Demitri did nothing bad to me, it was precisely me who did a bad thing to her.”

Darlen frowned in confusion, similar to Giovano, and Giovano was equally clueless about what was happening.

“You did a bad thing to Demitri?” Darlen is getting confused, “What are you doing, I think your date will go well and you will go home with a happy face.”

Hannah again sighed heavily, “Our date did go well, we just went to a romantic dinner, Demitri even gave a lot of surprises to me, flowers, melodious songs, she said, good food and don't forget the ring.”

“If your date was that perfect then why did you say you did such a bad thing to Demitri? What exactly are you doing?” ask Darlen again.

“I refused her ring.” Hannah replied slowly, Darlen and Giovano sat up straight and looked at Hannah with their serious eyes.

“Why did you refuse his gift ring? did you change your mind and not want to be in a relationship with her again?” this time Giovano asked, he thought Hannah was getting serious with Demitri but it turned out they were just like this.

“I also felt heavy-hearted to reject the ring, but the ring Demitri gave me was not an ordinary gift ring, she invited me to get married. Demitri proposed to me while we had not received Axel's approval. I can't give Demitri great hope if we're not sure about Axel's acceptance, if Axel doesn't want me to get married then I won't do it.” Hannah said slowly, recalling her conversation with Demitri at dinner together, Hannah remembers the disappointed face Demitri tried to hide but remained visible to Hannah.

“Then how? Demitri's mad because you turned down her ring?” Darlen thinks nothing of it, though Darlen has given Demitri the green light to approach Hannah but Darlen still thinks badly of the man. Darlen still can't think positively about Demitri, even more so with Hannah.

“Demitri is not angry with me, he actually said that he would fight hard to be able to get Axel's heart. Demitri says he will fight hard to make Axel accept her, not as a friend of mine but accept as a Father.”

This time Darlen sighed, Hannah's words reminded Darlen of Darlen's small talk with Axel before Axel went to sleep.

“But I don't think it will be easy for Demitri.”

Hannah raises her brow in confusion, “Why did you say that?”

“Because earlier when you went to dinner with Demitri, when I was trying to put Axel to sleep, we had a little chat. I deliberately provoked talk about Demitri to Axel, but Axel looks less happy with the fact that you started spending time with Demitri.” Darlen sighed for a moment, “When I was fishing about Demitri, if Demitri became his Father, Axel replied that he did not need Demitri as his Father because he already had me and Giovano.”

“Like his Axel does not want a new Dad, he actually hates because his time with me and also Giovano became divided because you continue to invite him to go out along with Demitri.”

Hannah randomized her hair in frustration, “It looks like I've made a mistake, supposed to keep them close instead of in a way of making them meet every day. It only irritated Axel, should they meet occasionally but meaningfully so Axel would love Demitri and would with his own will to meet Demitri. My fault is indeed, I'm stupid.”

“Don't blame yourself Hannah, Axel was a child he wouldn't easily hate Demitri for such a thing, he just felt his time with me and with Giovano so reduced, he said, so he refused lunch with Demitri that day because he missed me. Demitri must be patient, although it takes a while but I am sure someday Axel will definitely like Demitri and you can build the perfect family together.”

Axel did not sleep, or rather he woke up when he heard the sound of a car engine from outside the house.

Axel got off his bed and stepped towards his bedroom window, flicking the window curtain that covered his gaze outwards.

Axel saw the car he recognized, the car was none other than Demitri's car. And sure enough Axel's guess, he saw Demitri get out of the car and opened the car door for Hannah.

Axel who was initially still sleepy suddenly fresh when he saw Hannah was back, but after getting off the car Hannah did not go straight into the house.

axel's little eyebrows raised confused to see the incident, but he still peeked until Hannah really entered the house.

Axel's initial intention was to go out of the room and greet his mother, whining because he had been in the house and not invited then invite his mother to sleep together in the room.

But all that was not so Axel carried out when he heard the sound of conversation between Mother and her two fathers in the living room.

Little Axel is usually going to be stupid and still come outwitting even though his parents are talking in the living room but this time Axel did something different because he heard the name Om Demitri, but this time Axel did something different because he heard the name Om Demitri, her mother's friend was mentioned.

Axel did not understand what his parents called it, but Axel understood when they mentioned the matter of being a new father for Axel.

Axel is confused why his parents continue to say as if Demitri will be a new father for Axel, while Axel only has 2 fathers. 2 Fathers is enough for him.

Despite eavesdropping throughout his parents' conversation, Axel still did not understand. He decides to cancel his plans and goes back to sleep in his bed.

Axel intends to just sleep and ask this to his friend, maybe his friend will understand and explain later. Axel will ask his friends tomorrow.

“That means Mama Axel wants to marry again.” one of Axel's friends said, “Tante I have many husbands, she married four times. So cousin I have 4 Fathers.”

Axel innocently raised his eyebrows do not understand, “But my Mama did not marry much-many.”

“Iya did not marry much, but now you just want to marry again. The proof you said Om who often picked up here would be your father, meaning it's a sign that your Mama will remarry with that Om.”

“If you remarry with Om it means you will separate from your other Papa-papa.” said Axel's other friend.

Makes Axel even more worried.

“But why you should get married, there are already Papa Darlen and Daddy Giovano. What exactly is marriage for.”

“Married it out of love, if love yes married.later so have children together, said her you want to have a sister like me, maybe if your Mama remarried you will have a sister.”

Axel shook his head, “Axel better not have a sister than to have to separate with Papa Darlen and also Daddy Giovano.”

“You remarry or not the most important thing is that they love you.”

“Today you didn't come pick up Axel with me is okay, right?” Hannah calls Demitri by phone, first telling Axel before Demitri comes to pick him up.

“Yes, it's okay. You don't need to worry about me.” replied Demitri from there.

“I, Darlen and Giovano have agreed to tell Axel the truth before Axel gets older and finds out for himself, although he would not understand at least nothing we hide from him so he would not hate us. If we keep hiding her and Axel knows our secret surely Axel will hate us for having fooled her.”

“But are you sure?" demitri asked again from there.

“Yes, this is the best choice. I'll also say about you to Axel, I hope he will understand.”

“Yes, I pray for the best. If anything happens or you need my help, don't hesitate to ask for my help.”

“Yes, you take it easy I will call you if I need your help, I will also call you when it is done. Go back to work, don't forget lunch.”

Demitri hopes she can start her story back with Hannah, with Axel as well.

As long as he can be with Hannah, the woman he loves. That was enough for Demitri.
