CHAPTER 48

Already during the week Axel every go home from school always picked up by Hannah and Demitri, Axel did not feel disturbed it was happy because every school home became more fun.

But Axel could not deny that he missed lunch with Darlen, because this week Axel always had lunch with his Mother and Demitri.

Eating together with her Mom friend was fun, but Axel still missed lunch with Darlen at their house. Although Axel still has dinner with Darlen and Giovano, Axel has been used to lunch with Darlen before.

Although there is Demitri though, Demitri's position still can not replace Darlen.

Now Axel, Hannah and Demitri are in the car. They had lunch together and now Demitri was delivering her home.

“You know Demitri you don't have to bother picking Axel up like this, I'll pick Axel up enough. Your work must be waiting for you while you waste your time with us.” Hannah said slowly to Demitri who was driving, trying to make his voice was not heard by Axel who was sitting in the back seat.

“Just calm down, you don't have to worry. My work is not a problem.” replied Demitri in a quiet voice as well.

Of course Demitri does not feel troubled by this, it is precisely a golden opportunity for Demitri to be closer to Axel and also be able to spend time with Hannah.

Demitri stops her car right in front of Giovano's house, descending first to open the car door for Hannah and Axel.

Axel who got off Demitri's car immediately ran into the house after thanking Demitri. Hannah is still with Demitri.

“Teethank you for driving us, I appreciate your struggle. See you tomorrow.” Hannah tiptoes and kisses Demitri's lips briefly before she catches up with Axel.

Although only a short kiss, Demitri was happy not to play because of it. Indeed Hannah gave the kiss as a reward for Demitri for this week who had taken the time to always pick up Axel and have lunch with them and drive them home until always late back to the house the office's.

The kiss that Hannah gave made Demitri more excited, Demitri will be more active to pick up Axel, count and date indirectly also with Hannah.

Rafael frowned in confusion as he looked at Demitri who returned to the office with a big smile and also Rafael noticed Demitri constantly touching his lips.

Although confused and curious Rafael chose to be quiet rather than he asked and will be exposed to scolding later, after all as a secretary it was not Rafael's business to know what caused Demitri to keep smiling like that.

But in hindsight Rafael became reminded of the gossip circulating among the employees in the company later this.

Of course the gossip about his superiors, which was none other than Demitri himself.

Demitri often leaves the office before lunch and returns late but with a big smile, demitri's mood is very good lately makes it a gossip for employees because previously what employees saw from Demitri was always a grim face and also anger.

Demitri always looks gloomy and scolded every employee all-out even though because of a small mistake. But lately Demitri is different so that makes the employees speculate that Demitri is in love.

Rafael already knows that Demitri is in love, and to whom Demitri falls in love, of course, with her former co-worker Hannah.

But no one else knows and they wonder who the lucky woman who gets the heart of a rich man like Demitri is.

Just like the day before Demitri left early for Hannah's house to pick Hannah up and the two of them would go together to pick Axel up from school and have lunch together.

Upon seeing Hannah's face, Demitri recalled the kiss Hannah gave her yesterday. Demitri does not understand why he became like a teenager who just fell in love like this.

But to be honest, seeing Hannah made Demitri's heart beat faster than usual.

When Hannah gets into the car, Demitri drives her car to Axel's school. Axel School is not far away so it does not take long to get there.

The moment they reached Axel's school, five minutes after his bell came home and the children began to leave their respective classes. Hannah and Demitri get out of the car to greet Axel as usual.

From a distance Axel can be seen running towards them, Axel smiled towards Hannah but then Axel's smile faded when he saw Demitri.

Hannah may not realize this, but Demitri realizes it, and Demitri's feelings begin to feel bad. Feeling as if there was something with Axel and it concerned him.

Demitri opens the car door for Axel, his feelings are still bad, but Demitri tries to get rid of the thought and smiles.

Axel and Hannah had gotten into the car, Demitri turned to the two of them.

“Well, today Axel wants to eat what. Where do we want lunch?” demitri asked before driving.

“Axel wants to go home, Axel wants lunch with Papa Darlen.”

Hannah was surprised to hear Axel's words, “Axel did not want to have lunch with Om Demitri?”

Axel shook his head, “Axel wants lunch with Papa Darlen, yesterday it was the same Om Demitri. Papa Axel right Papa Demitri is not Om Demitri so why Axel the same Om Demitri lunch Om Demitri continue while Papa at home alone.”

Ah, Demitri can't say anything. So this was the bad feeling he felt. Axel's smile faded when he saw his presence because Axel felt saturated with Demitri who kept coming and trying to take the time Axel could spend with his Papa Darlen.

Axel only considers Demitri as a friend of his mother, and Axel is happy with Demitri because Demitri is good but Demitri understands that Axel will certainly also feel annoyed if it continues to be plastered so.

Demitri glanced at Hannah who was also looking at her, Hannah as if she was sympathetic towards Demitri and said it through her eyes.

Demitri nods to Hannah, giving a sign that she is okay and this is not a big deal, of course Axel will prefer Darlen on his appeal. Darlen has been with Axel since childhood while Demitri is nobody.

Demitri drove his car in silence, in the car there was only a soft humming sound from Axel while looking at the street from behind the window. Axel innocently does not know that his refusal to have lunch with Demitri inflicts a small scratch wound on Demitri's heart.

“About sampaai.” Demitri cheerfully opens the car door for Axel, Axel jumps down from Demitri's car and laughs at Demitri.

“Thank you for picking up Axel. Axel in yes Om, dada~”

As usual Axel went into the house first while running cheerfully, leaving Hannah with Demitri both.

“You okay?" hannah asked Demitri, Demitri turned and nodded her head. Of course he's okay, Demitri has no reason to be upset, no, he's not Axel's nobody.

“It's okay, it's only natural that Axel wants to have lunch with Darlen. All this time you always have lunch together, I was the one who suddenly showed up and stole his time together with Darlen.” Demitri smiled bitterly, at first he had a big head that Axel would really like him and Demitri's journey to be able to get Hannah and Axel would be easy, but in fact not that easy.

“Don't get discouraged.” Hannah said quietly as she patted Demitri on the shoulder.

“Oh yes, tomorrow weekend. Can you and Axel come with me. I want to take you guys for a walk.” Demitri tries to rekindle the atmosphere, she is reminded of her plan to take Hannah and Axel for a walk tomorrow.

Actually Demitri was about to invite when they had lunch together, but their relationship was not so lunch with Demitri so ask her now.

Demitri's smile faded as she looked at Hannah's facial expression, Hannah looked at him with a guilty look. Demitri knows her answer, Hannah can't.

“I'm sorry but we'll go with Giovano and Darlen tomorrow to the zoo. Axel had asked for it a long time ago, Giovano had also planned it from far away. Again forgive me, maybe we can go with Axel next time.”

Demitri tried to hide her disappointment, she smiled and nodded. “Yes is okay. There is still a lot of time ahead, we can go together next time.”

Hannah grabbed Demitri's hand and clasped her tightly, “You don't have to be sad, tomorrow night you and I can go together even without Axel. If you remember after I gave you a chance, we've never been together, dating is just you and me.”

Demitri who was initially moody again excited, Demitri looked at Hannah with a look of disbelief.

“You're serious?”

Hannah nodded her head, “Iya I'm serious, make sure tomorrow night you take me to a good place. I don't want our first date in a bad place. You have to choose the place correctly.”

Demitri excitedly brandished her Thumb. “Just relax I won't let you down.”

“Alright then now you're back in your office, ah yes. Don't forget lunch, just because you can't have lunch with me and Axel today don't let you miss your lunch.”

Demitri laughed at Hannah's advice, “Yes, you don't have to worry. Then I go first.”
