Not knowing how else to do so, Luca and Dimitri decide to return to the house where Mr. Nio is hiding. While the rest are tasked to take Joa to the hospital in the city. However, the man needs medical treatment with drugs and tools that are much more complete.

Upon arrival at Mr. Nio's residence, Luca and Dimitri immediately ran towards the kitchen where Mr. Nio took the antidote. The two of them were both shocked when they saw Mr. Nio lying on the floor with both eyes open. The floor was filled with blood coming out from the chest of Mr. Nio who was shot.

"Who's done all this?" Luca looks very sad when he sees a broken bottle and the liquid inside scattered on the floor. The middle-aged man thought that the bottle contained the antidote liquid that was supposed to be given to Quinn.

"Boss, Why did you have to come here? I was getting ready to meet you."

Joni emerged from behind the wall. The man looked happy because in the end they could win against Mr. Nio.

"Joni, why did you kill him and why didn't you snatch the antidote he brought?" yelled Luca furiously. The man's emotions were uncontrollable at this moment. He was very angry with the situation. Plus now Luca does not know how his wife.

"I wanted to take the antidote and take it. But I saw something strange there. Mister Nio was like frightened as he gulped down the bargain. Then I let him gulp down half of the antidote he was holding. Not long after that, he looked more and more in pain.

"Dad, don't be rash. What if what Joni says is true? Look over there. There was a body that had just been shot. That means what Joni said is true." Somehow Dimitri felt that Joni was innocent.

My devotion has all this time only been considered nonsense that has no benefit." Joni's disappointment is becoming more visible. Luca begins to worry and doubt with his own attitude.

"alright. Then we prove it right now!" luca was impatient. The man immediately pressed Quinn's number. Even though it was night, Luca hoped that his daughter had not slept and could now help him deal with this problem.

"Hello, Dad. Is Daddy okay? Why are you just now telling me?" quinn Protest.

"Quinn, do you now know where Daddy's position is?"

"Wait, I'll track him down" Quinn said. The woman played her laptop before finally making another sound. "It has. Even I know that Dimitri is now next to Daddy and Uncle Joni is in front of Daddy."

"Of course I can. The room has a cctv. I can track what's going on using the CCTV" Quinn replied confidently.

Luca immediately disconnects his phone call along with Quinn. While Dimitri and Joni just looked at each other with their thoughts each. 5 minutes after waiting finally Quinn sent the recording requested by luca. Without waiting any longer the middle-aged man immediately played the recording sent by his daughter.

How shocked Luca was when he saw the recording. Everything that happened was exactly the same as what Joni was told. Now the man feels regret for accusing his confidant. When the tape ended, Luca could only look down at Joni.

"Maybe this is the end of our meeting, sir. I'm happy to be working with you all this time. You're a very nice guy. Leaders who care enough about your subordinates. I won't go away with a bad impression of you. I hope in the future you can meet someone much better than me." Joni stepped forward and took out three bottles filled with clear liquid. "I found this neatly tucked away in a room in this big house. I think this is the antidote. Because the man who had killed Mr. Nio came out of the room where these bottles were stored. But it would be best before giving this antidote to Miss Quinn, it would be nice to have it checked first in the lab to confirm if this is the true antidote."

Luca just silently looked at the 3 bottles that Joni had just placed. The man was at a loss for words at this moment. He doesn't know what to say anymore. His heart is truly sorry.

"Thank you Sir. From the beginning I knew you were a good man" Dimitri said. Joni simply replied with a nod. He looked back at Luca.

"I am old too. I should have retired, right? So you don't have to be sad like that sir."

Joni immediately twisted her body and stepped away leaving Luca and Dimitri still there. Not long after, a scream came out of Luca's mouth.

"Wait!"

Joni held back her footsteps. But the man did not turn around. Luca immediately walked over to Joni. While Dimitri immediately secured 3 bottles containing the antidote.

"I'm sorry Joni. Things kept me short-minded until I finally hurt the person who had been protecting me" Luca said with regret.

Joni smiled hearing that. However, it was still clearly a sense of disappointment from the middle-aged man's gaze. "You are a very good boss. I know and I understand your position. If I were in your position, I would think so. At first I myself also blamed myself for failing to keep Miss Quinn until Miss Quinn was finally in her present position. So I consider all this to be breakeven. I have absolutely no grudge with you sir."

"Joni, I'm sorry." Luca immediately hugged his subordinate. "When you want to come back come to me."

Both of Joni's eyes look teary hearing Luca's words. In the end the man immediately hugged Luca and patted him on the shoulder. "Why is it so hard to separate. Is our whole life meant to be together?"

Luca laughed at hearing that. The man returned Joni's embrace. "Are we at peace now?"

Joni nodded. "I'm not leaving. We'll always be together until one of us goes first."

Seeing the sight made Dimitri again remember with Joa. His relationship with Joa was like a sibling. "I wish Joa and I could be like them. Together until old and protect each other."
