"Finally it's done too." Quinn dropped her head on the table before closing her eyes. For a moment the woman wanted to sleep. He felt very tired because today had to be overtime to complete his piled up task.
"Hot coffee for my dear friend." Sherly appears with two coffees in her hand. The woman put it on the table.
"I want to go to sleep" said Quinn, still with her eyes closed.
"Quinn, you've done it all. After coffee, let's go home. You can sleep at home" Sherly said before sipping her homemade coffee.
"But I can't walk. Daddy's really mean. He could have told me to work until this late" Quinn protested involuntarily.
"That's what you mean, Quinn?"
Quinn immediately opened her eyes and sat down. The woman grinned while scratching her non-itchy head. "It looks like I fell asleep and became delirious about being rich" Quinn said, hoping Sherly would believe what she said.
"Yes, it's common if we feel exhausted. I often think that way too. If only I was the kid who owned this company, I would fire people whose work is not good, especially people who like gossip when working hours take place. Unfortunately, it was all just my dream. Since I want to reincarnate 10 times as well I definitely would not be possibly destined to become a conglomerate princess."
"Sometimes what we think isn't necessarily as beautiful as that either." Quinn took Sherly's coffee and sipped it slowly. "So conglomerate princesses don't always live a good life. They find it difficult because they have to bear such a heavy burden. First they have to keep the family's good name. Not to be carelessly out of the house because surely the kidnappers will target them. Plus their association is very limited because if they choose the wrong friends they will be trapped."
"You're wrong Quinn. It's just your mind because your mind has never been good to others. So the conglomerate's daughter was very good. Can sleep in a luxurious room, have a good car that much, if you want a vacation also just say just no need to think about mourning anymore. Want to buy nothing just take it not like we have to work hard to buy something we want." Sherly looks daydreaming while looking at the window.
"Do you really want to be a rich kid?" Quinn's face was getting serious.
Sherly laughed at Quinn's question. "Then if I answer yes, you can change my destiny to be a rich boy?" He laughed again.
"After becoming a rich man's son. What do you most want to do?"
"Eitherway. It seems like sleeping in a nice room all day without thinking about work and mediocre money will feel exciting. If hungry the maid will come and serve food with a variety of menus," Sherly replied quickly.
"That's all?" ask Quinn to go back to making sure.
"That too would never have been granted to Quinn. Already have. Even the night makes no sense. Now let's go home. I'm also so sleepy that I want to sleep." Sherly gets out of the chair.
Quinn moved her lips and then moved out of the chair as well. The two women immediately left the room where they had been working all along.
"Now I know what birthday gift I can give Sherly on her birthday. I was really dizzy about what Sherly wanted. But now that I know what to do on Sherly's birthday," Quinn said with a smile.
...***...
After driving Sherly home, Quinn quickly drove her car home. The woman felt her body crumble. She missed her favorite bed. While driving forward at a moderate speed, the woman recalled what Sherly said at the office.
"So she could just want to sleep in a fancy room."
Quinn immediately parked her car in the garage when she got home. A guard standing there opened the door for Quinn. Quinn held back her footsteps seeing that a car she did not recognize was also parked there.
"Whose car is this? What are Mommy and Daddy's friends? Isn't it very late. Why hasn't the guest gone home yet," Quinn said as she walked towards the door.
"alright. Be careful on the road. You should have stayed over tonight. I'm so worried about you driving alone."
"Tiffany, I'm used to driving cars at night like this. See you around. Keep your health and do not like to get angry so as not to get old quickly."
Quinn stood up while paying attention to the two familiar looking middle-aged women. The woman did not want to interrupt their moment. Until when one of them disappears behind the door Quinn just ventured to approach her own biological mother.
"What's Aunt Viana, Mom?" Quinn leaned her body against the wall with her arms folded.
"Quinn, why did you just come home? Where have you been?"
"Daddy didn't tell Mommy I was working this late at the company? Surely Mommy knew for herself Daddy wouldn't be able to stay put if I came home late unless I came home late for work from Daddy." Quinn's face looked upset.
"But at least you can tell Mommy. Mommy's still lazy to talk to Daddy."
"Mommy don't be like that. I didn't want Mommy and Daddy to fight just because Mommy stood up for me." Quinn held his mother's hand.
Tiffany was silent for a moment. He also did not like this situation. But he can not keep quiet if Luca continues to limit his daughter who is now growing up.
"Quinn, there's something Mommy wants to talk about. Come on, sit down for a minute." Tiffany immediately invited her daughter to sit on the sofa that was not far from their position.
"What the hell is it, Mom? Why does Mommy look so suspicious."
"Why are you talking like that? Mommy just wanted to give you good news." Tiffany smiled meaningfully to let Quinn know that there was something there.
"Okay, now tell me what the good news is."
"Tante Viana is married to a wealthy widower" Tiffany said.
Quinn frowned hearing that. "What does this have to do with me? Why did Mommy say it was good news? Want Aunt Viana to marry a brondong or a rich widower that has absolutely nothing to do with me and is not at all profitable for me Mommy." Quinn let out a rough sigh.
"This rich young man had a very handsome boy. Aren't you interested in marrying her?" tiffany Sahut.
"Mommy takes what medicine! It's weird, by the way." Quinn turned her face.
"Honey, Aunt Viana also agreed. If you guys get a match, Mommy and Aunt Viana can be a family. We will be the ones who get along. Please open your heart to Aunt Viana's son. Who knows you guys are fighting. At first you can make friends first while getting closer." Tiffany took something on the table. "This is her picture. Isn't he a very handsome man?'
Quinn received the photo and looked at the face of a man inside. He was even more handsome than Dimitri. Quinn was not interested. "Mommy, I'm tired. Can I go to the room? I want to shower and sleep. We'll talk about this next time."
Tiffany could only sigh. The woman also could not force her daughter to be close and familiar with the man of her choice. "alright. Then let's talk about it another time. Now go take a shower and rest."
Quinn landed a kiss on Tiffany's cheek before going to her room. While Tiffany is still on the sofa while looking at the photo of the man who became Viana's stepson at this time. "The age of Quinn is now supposed to be close to a man. I have to help my daughter find her soul mate. I don't want my daughter to be a spinster," Tiffany's inner self was filled with passion. The woman never knew that in fact her daughter was often in a relationship with a man but ended up hurt. Only Luca knows all that and Luca never tells Tiffany.
