Chapters. 187 Is not a Brother

Audy was sitting under a tree while bending her legs. The woman looked ahead with a blank look. Now they have arrived at the place Audie wanted to be. But Xander saw that the woman was unhappy. Even when she first got off the car, Audy asked Xander not to follow her.

"Master, this forest is very far from the city. You sure this place is safe?" ask the man while watching the surroundings.

"It seems like a place to calm down. Not a hiding place. Go awayl. Find something we can eat. Don't forget to get a change of clothes. We don't know until when it's here." Xander looked at the simple hut in front of him. "Be careful and make sure no one follows you" Xander ordered.

Xander's personal bodyguards bowed respectfully. "I'll be right back, sir. If you're in danger, call me immediately."

"You take it easy." Xander stuffed both of his hands into his pockets before looking towards Audy. While Xander's personal bodyguard immediately left from there.

Audy wiped away the tears that suddenly dripped. Seeing Audy's sad face like that made Xander not have the heart. He slowly walked closer to the position Audy was in at the moment.

Audy glanced at Xander before turning her face away. "I told you, leave me alone."

"I can't possibly leave you alone under these circumstances. If you've decided to solve your own problems in the first place, why involve me?"

Audy was at a loss for words hearing Xander's words. "I'm sorry for having to trouble you again."

"I'm used to it." Xander sat down next to Audrey. Now they both look ahead. More precisely the wilderness that looks scary. It could be that behind the bush there are wild animals hiding.

"Are you busy?"

"No." Xander looked towards Audie again. "You're engaged?" He was hesitant to ask such a sentence. But she should know Audie's status by now.

"Already," lies Audy. He still did not want to tell the real problem.

Xander nodded. "The man must be looking for you now. His missing fiancee. Not to mention your brother who is the chairman of Cosa Nostra. Everyone in Rome must be busy looking for you" Xander said.

"That's impossible." Audrey looked at Xander's face. Both of his eyes were still glazed. "Someone showed up and said that I wasn't his real sister. He's my stepbrother. I can't believe my mom's cheating on Daddy. And the severity of the woman I've been calling mommy has not known it either. Someone traded me for the real Audy." Audy smiled bitterly. "It shouldn't be my name."

Xander was shocked to hear Audie's story. She did not expect that Audy could have this much trouble.

"But you're not alone. There I am here." Xander held onto Audy's shoulder and pulled her. The man hugged Audy carefully while rubbing her hair. "You're not the wrong Audie. You don't have to cry and regret the fate that happened."

"Sir Leonzio looks disappointed. She didn't even care when I left" Audy said.

"Why are you running like someone's after you?" xander asked with a serious facial expression.

Audy just realized that there's something she's still covering up from Xander. The woman clenched her hand tightly. "I just don't want anyone to see me" Audy replied softly.

Xander nodded. He patted her on the shoulder. "Come here. I can be where you lean, Audy. Take all your frustration out. That way you'll feel relieved."

Audy dropped her head on Xander's shoulder. "thank you. Thank you very much."

One day before ....

The engagement party looked very luxurious and grand. How not. A man named Aldo who will be engaged to Audy is a rich man who is very respected. Judging from the invited guests present also mostly came from among the nobility.

The man toasted with some of his colleagues to celebrate this happy day. It felt like he could already imagine how much freedom he would gain after Audy got married.

Audrey stood facing Aldo. A series of events had already passed and it was time to exchange rings. Audy was stunned to see Aldo's face which turned into Xander's. It was hard for Audrey to forget the face of her first love.

"Audy, I love you" said Aldo. He is a very feared man. But in front of Audy she always showed her gentle and understanding nature. Aldo took Audy's hand when the ring box was opened. Just as Aldo wanted to pin the ring, Audy suddenly pulled his hand and made the ring fall off.

All the guests were shocked. Including Leonzio. In contrast to Aldo who just smiled to see it as if there was no problem there.

"You're not ready to get engaged to me yet?" ask Aldo. The man looked at Audy with a loving look. There is not a single bit of anger there.

"I'm sorry." Audy.

In that second also an old woman appeared to destroy the engagement event. He brought a lot of evidence to make Leonzio believe everything he said.

Aldo initially wanted to expel the old woman. Leonzio prevented it. The Aib of the Cosa Nostra family was dismantled in front of everyone.

Xander turned his face away as Audrey kept looking at him. "How about we get out of town? We can do a lot of things."

Audrey disagrees. He didn't want to trouble Xander's life anymore. What's more is now her enemy, Audy, her own half-brother. Someone who is very powerful in Rome.

"Don't. It's better we never see each other again" Audy said in the end.

Xander was shocked to hear that. The man looked at Audrey face seriously. She did not expect that Audrey would say such a sentence. Xander's heart ached when he heard it.

Audy held Xander's cheek and shed her tears. How dare a woman kiss Xander first. Chewing it with love and tenderness.

Xander kissed Audie back. The man was also already infatuated with Audy. It felt like this kind of touch was making him even more insane.

"Go away. I can solve my problem!" Audy pushes Xander's body. The woman then stood up. When he wanted to leave, Xander quickly held Audy's hand. To stop him from going anywhere.

"I'll always be by your side, Audie. I won't just leave you alone" Xander said with a solemn expression.

"Why? Why didn't you say something like this yesterday? When I asked you to get married? Now things are not the same" replied Audy.

"It's still the same" Xander said with confidence.

"If we were married then I wouldn't have to meet Aldo. Xander, you don't know what I'm doing right now." Audy pushed Xander's body again. "Go away. I don't want you to be fucked."

"Audy, don't you want to marry me? Come on, I'll take you home and we'll get married there" Xander said.

"No, Xander! No!" scream Audy. The woman's voice began to crackle. "It's all too late. Your family will get into big trouble. Nah! I won't let that happen!"

"Audy, you don't have to worry. I'm ready to face whoever you're on my side!" Xander now persuades Audy.

Audy shakes. He looked towards the road. A few black cars appeared there. Audy immediately stepped back to distance herself from Xander.

Aldo got off one of the stopped cars. The man took off his sunglasses and walked towards Audy.

Audy knew that Aldo could definitely find his current whereabouts. The woman glanced at Xander. He hopes Xander doesn't make a mistake right now.

"Who is he?" aldo asked with a cold expression.

"You're Audy's fiance?" ask Xander to go back to make sure.

Aldo nodded. "Then, who are you?"

Xander extended his hand to introduce himself. "I'm Xander. I'm Audy's future husband!"
