"Quinn, why are you daydreaming? Your work is still a lot. I think you need overtime?" Sherly makes coffee for Quinn.
Right enough. It's been 2 weeks Quinn disappeared and of course it makes his work pile up. Although there are those who help him, but still there are some important jobs that can not be replaced by anyone.
"Hey! My americano coffee can definitely calm you down a little." Sherly pulls the chair in front of Quinn's desk.
"Thank you, Sherly. You are indeed the best friend. As you can see. My work piles. But I don't want to be overtime. My body still hurts. At least I should think about my health as well." Quinn sipped a cup of Sherly's americano coffee.
Quinn's smile rose on his lips. The woman slowly began to calm down. Quinn is starting to relax. Sherly's face is inversely proportional to Quinn's. Sherly's unusual facial expression intrigued Quinn.
"Why do you see me like that? You're not in love with me, are you? Sorry, but I'm normal!" Quinn misunderstood. However, Quinn still enjoys Sherly's coffee.
"If there's some vague gossip about you, you can ignore it, Quinn. Don't listen to their babble. Since you left there have been a lot of people eyeing your position. But the shareholders no one dared to comment about you. Do you understand Quinn?" Sherly gives a warning to Quinn.
It was true that since Quinn left and there was no news of him, that empty position made everyone two-faced after him. Sherly is very upset because she is the one who is always the target of questions from people.
Sherly doesn't know about Quinn's departure. But Sherly says Quinn has a problem to solve. Although Sherly did not say the details, people thought Quinn would be fired or resign.
"That's nothing new anymore. The position I have is a good position. So I'm not surprised about it. Thank you for this warning from you. I'll stay careful. That's what you mean?" Quinn guessed that Sherly was worried about her.
It was from Sherly's agitated face. Seeing Sherly fretting, Quinn clasped Sherly's hand. Justright. Sherly was also shocked as Quinn clasped her hands.
"Don't take too much heart. You know what kind of person I am. Relax, Sherly." Quinn tries to calm Sherly down.
"Somehow my hunch is not good, Quinn. I'm afraid someone took a grudge against you because you came back to this company" Sherly said.
Trings.tring..
"There's an incoming message on your phone, Quinn," Sherly said.
Quinn picked up the phone that was located on the table. His eyes widened when Quinn found out who was sending the message. Quinn also ignored Sherly's confused face
"Who sent the message so you got it like that?" ask Sherly.
"Dimitry. He invited me to meet. Sherly, looks like next time I'll buy you. Today I suddenly had an appointment with Dimitri" Quinn said.
"What do you mean you're going on a date with Dimitri?" pissed Sherly.
"Yes, maybe so. Dimitri asked me to meet, wasn't that also a date?" Quinn quickly replied to the message sent by Dimitri.
"Quinn! You're ignoring me again!" whining Sherly. "Be careful with a striped-nose guy. I don't want you to be hurt anymore! Anyway, I'm heartbroken if you're hurt."
"Stop your boay cries, Sherly! Don't you know that I'm knitting my future? Who knows if he's Dimitri Huberg! You'll be happy to see your friends dating great people!" Quinn widened her smile even more as she looked at Sherly's annoying expression.
"Hm. I-i know. So the point is you're in love with Dimitri's, Quinn?" guess Sherly.
Quinn held her motion. I don't know why Sherly's words are opening her mind wide. "Sherly, I have to go." Not wanting much more to comment, Quinn immediately left his desk. While walking the woman asked herself again. "Why is it so easy for me to fall in love?"
