"What's this?"

Quinn frowned as Dimitri thrust out a black box before him. Like a jewelry box, but this is bigger in size.

"just open. You'll know what's inside." Dimitri was already impatient to see Quinn's expression when he saw the contents inside the box.

"All right." Quinn opened the box. How shocked he was when he saw the diamond inside. "What's this?"

"Diamond," Dimitri replied casually.

"I mean, what for?" Quinn closed the box and pushed it in front of Dimitri. "I can't accept such an expensive gift."

"Then return to the island." Dimitri looked very calm that afternoon. He sipped a cold drink of his order while enjoying Quinn's beautiful face that was never dull.

"What do you mean?"

"This diamond is a gift given by the islanders. They told me to give you half of it."

Quinn laughed at hearing that. Obviously he did not believe it because from what Quinn saw, the islanders were people who were struggling in terms of economy.

"You kidding? Don't fool me!"

"Actually I have the same thoughts as you Quinn. But they do have treasure. They purposely kept this information from everyone." Dimitri was trying to tell Quinn what he knew.

"Was money causing the pirates to attack the island? They knew that there were treasures on the island that were so precious." Quinn also sipped her cold drink.

"Then you? What did you take from the island?" Quinn's probing gaze made Dimitri not dare to lie.

"There is a weapon-making material on the island that someone is hiding. He told me this secret. All this time I went to the island to collect all the materials on the island," Dimitri replied as he was.

"I guessed it. You must have taken advantage."

"But you misunderstood, Quinn. I never knew that the island was inhabited by villagers. Do you know how they were when I first arrived on the island? They all look so pathetic.
