Quinn came out of the room with eyes still drowsy. It's only been a week on the island but it feels like a year. Quinn misses her routine in town. She can't wait to tell her parents that she's okay.
"Why didn't the assassins show up? Do they know I'm here so they're scared?" quinn's mind as he stepped into the door. This morning Quinn didn't see Auntie Su. The woman tries to search the beach because usually Aunt Su is always there to find fish with Eli.
Quinn stepped on the sand of the beach while occasionally kicking the sand. The woman laughed cheerfully. Simple but enough to make her happy. Quinn's steps instantly came to a halt when he saw a ship stopping in the middle of the sea. Ships that are quite large according to Quinn. Some boots are now heading to the island where they are.
"Are they murderers?" inner Quinn. The woman went into hiding to make sure. But he did not become worried when he saw Aunt Su and other residents were also on the beach. It was as if they were welcoming a guest who had just arrived.
"What is that man they've been calling the Great Lord? What the hell is he. Why does everyone always praise his kindness?" Quinn noticed one by one the boots that were now very close to the beach. His eyes were rounded wide when he saw Dimitri coming down from one of the recently landed boots. "Him? Why does he have to be again?"
Quinn continued to watch the newly arrived group. "Just like Eli praised him. Actually he's handsome, just a little annoying," Quinn said slowly.
Quinn still doesn't know that it was Dimitrilah who kidnapped her at that time. However, when Quinn saw some of Dimitri's men who were now accompanying him. The woman came to know that she was actually the mastermind of her abduction on the ship.
"Damn! Apparently him! I'm really unlucky every time I meet a guy. Yesterday's been hurt now in the kidnap." Quinn sat on the sand while thinking. "He can't know that I'm on this island. He might kidnap me again later. I'd better get home now. Aunt Su would have been suspicious if I disappeared like this."
Quinn immediately ran towards the house. Dimitri looked at Quinn. Only his back was visible. The clothes worn by Quinn led Dimitri to think that the woman was a native of the island.
"Master, welcome back. I'm happy to see you in good health" Aunty Su said with a smile.
"How is the island? Is it safe?" Dimitri put his hand in his pocket before stepping.
"Sir, Mister. Oh yeah, do you want to eat? We'll cook you your favorite menu, sir. And how long have you been staying this time?"
Dimitri was silent for a moment. The man seemed to be considering his decision. "I should go soon. I'm also looking for someone" Dimitri replied. "Quinn, it's been a week but my men haven't found you. Are you still alive? Or maybe you've already ... I'm really stupid. I shouldn't have taken you sailing that time. Now I'm losing you." Dimitri sat in his arms as he stepped towards the house that had always been his resting place. The house is not too far from Auntie Su's.
"Master, have a good rest." Aunt Su said goodbye before leaving. The middle-aged woman looked at Joa who was always putting on a cruel face. "This child, why his expression from year to year never changed," said Aunt Su who was only brave in his heart.
...***...
Quinn stepped here and there with an agitated heart. He still did not expect that he would finally be on an island with a man he hated. In addition, now the residence is also side by side. If you don't find a way, Quinn's identity will soon be discovered.
"Miss, why are you standing here?" Auntie Su looked confused as Quinn stood in the kitchen as if she was hiding.
"You mean Mr Dimitri?" Auntie Su made it clear again.
"Dimitri's name?" inner Quinn. "Yes, he. I don't want him to know I'm here. I'mfrightened. Can you help me?"
"Of course, Miss. That's the easy thing. But you should know that Mr. Dimitri does not like to be approached by women. That's why we always forbid young women to approach Mr. Dimitri while he's here. So, you take it easy," said Aunt Su with confidence.
"He's really a two-faced man. Obviously yesterday he forced me to introduce. When I refused, He decided to kidnap me and take me to the ship. He's a playboy. Why are they not aware!" quinn's curse in the heart.
"Miss, what do you mean like this? This cloth can cover your hair and face. Like veils. Do you know the veil?" Aunt Su appeared with a black cloth in her hand.
Quinn glanced at the cloth before accepting it. "Thank you Auntie. This is what I'm looking for." Quinn tried it immediately. Of course assisted by Aunt Su to make it look neat.
"Miss, you're beautiful even though all you see are your eyes" praised Auntie Su with teary eyes.
"Tante, sorry before. There's something I want to ask. But I hope Aunt doesn't take it personally." Quinn opened the cloth again and looked at Auntie Su seriously.
"Tell me, Miss. I will answer all your questions." Aunt Su carved a sweet smile.
"I saw in that room there were a lot of women's stuff. You once said it was your daughter's room. Then, where is he now?" Quinn's tone was very careful. He was really afraid if he would offend Auntie Su.
Auntie Su sat on the chair that was on the dining table. The woman looked ahead with a sad face. "He's one of the victims, miss. I lost him that night. I think he's still excited at the place I set out. Turns out he got out of that place and chased his loose kitten. Until he was finally caught. They treated him so vilely." Aunt Su clenched her own hand firmly. The woman seemed to be holding back tears from dripping.
Quinn quickly approached Aunt Su and rubbed her back. The woman immediately felt guilty for opening the wound that had been lupain by Aunt Su for so long. "I'm sorry" Quinn said with a guilty face.
"You're not wrong, Miss. You should have asked like that. If I were you, I would do the same." Auntie Su tried to smile sweetly.
"Then I want to rest, Miss. Better not let this cloth be forgotten. Don't you want your face seen by Mr Dimitri ?"
Quinn nodded. The woman immediately took the face-covering cloth while looking at Aunt Su's back. "Tante Su, I will definitely repay their deeds. I promise!"
