Chapter 53. The Stiffening Situation.

With the vast sky covered in darkness. Bela who was standing beside the road with Engel in her carriage. Look over and over here for a ride to get out of there before anyone sees it. "Damn.." The voice of someone who sounded a little screamed, after the car glass was lowered.

"Maik... Quickly open the door..!" Excited Bela while holding Engel who was asleep in his carrier.

"Let's go in! What's the matter with you?" Maik asked as he hurriedly opened his car door.

"Take us out of here as soon as possible before my parents come! I'll explain later." Excited Bela with a look of panic while staring to and fro.

Without waiting for long, Maik immediately forwarded his car following Bela's request. After Bela had sat beside him with Engel in his arms. Maik was really shocked by what happened. But on the other hand, there was a slight sense of happiness that he felt. Because I heard what Bela said just now. Maik drove his car across the highway, occasionally glancing towards the rearview mirror above his head. His heart was sliced back as he looked at Bela. Who was peeping Engel over and over again.

"Let him down there!" Maik said after being in the room he occupied.

"Well, Engel can't be left out for long like this. He should get medical treatment. It's getting worse." Bela said after laying Engel on the bed.

"What actually happened? I can't make up my mind before hearing your explanation. I don't want to impose your will. Though Engel is my flesh and blood." Maik asked as he looked at Bela with a serious look.

"I want to ask for your responsibility as a father for Engel. Right now only you can save him. There's no one I can expect but you." Bela replied without daring to look at Maik's face.

"I decided to run away with Engel from the hospital, after hearing the talk of my parents. They no longer want to take care of Engel in the hospital because of cost issues. And they don't want to see me tormented for too long either. Because of Engel's situation like this." It was clearly Bela who made Maik directly look at him sharply.

"You mean, they've resigned themselves to Engel's condition because they don't want to see you suffer..?" Maik asked with a sharp look towards Bela who just nodded while looking at him nervously.

"As parents, they are very concerned about your situation. That's a natural thing. I feel the same way. I can't let my daughter endure the pain for too long. If you still want to be with her, come with me. But if not, I'll go get my daughter." Said Maik with a serious look towards Bela.

"Engel is everything to me. Whatever I will do for his recovery. Without him, I don't know if I can survive to this point or not? So don't you have to question all that. Just do your job as a father!" Replied Bela with a tone of voice quivering as it held back her cries.

"Tomorrow we go straight to America. Sleep with him!" Maik then stepped towards the sofa in the hotel room.

The tense atmosphere back in felt Maik also Bela because it was in one room. And at that time, there was no place for Bela to escape like time in America. When Maik first met him at the apartment where he lived.

"I'll wake you when he wakes up. Get some sleep so you have the energy to take care of it tomorrow." Pinta Maik and Bela just fell silent.
