    Mira smiles happily to find her engagement party so festive. Mira's family is big. From her father's next-door family, she has three uncles and two aunts, three female cousins and eight male cousins. Two female cousins and five male cousins were married and given children. While from her mother's family, Mira has one aunt who lives in Bekasi, two female cousins and one male cousin.

Mira wonder. How everything can be present at his engagement, even though this event seems sudden.

    Mira immediately returned to the hotel room after the event was over. He changed his clothes with more relaxed clothes. Blouse with red sabrina and dark blue black jeans is an option. Stella was in the room with Mira. He also changed his clothes with a shirt and trousers. But more than that he was about to talk to Mira. Yeah, they need to talk.

Stella looked at Mira with a sad look. "No. You never let down mom and dad. Sometimes you make mistakes. Of course everyone has done it. But instead of regretting the mistake, you prefer to fix it. You always have a responsible attitude."

 The two looked at each other, like they were communicating through the eyes. Mira automatically realizes that her mother must have known the carelessness she did with George.

Mira found herself coming closer to her mother then fell down and hugged the woman tightly. Mira's tears soon spread. For a few seconds Mira spills her grief, guilt and shame through a bitter cry.

"Already, already." comfort Stella. "Don't cry anymore."

Mira then looked at her mother's face. "sorry Mira ma," she said sadly.

Stella took a deep breath, bracing herself. Then he reached out his hand right at Mira's cheekbones, then rubbed her gently. "You must be happy, promise me!" The woman's voice sounded not like begging, but like commanding.

Mira looked at her mother without being able to answer. So he could only nod.

"Listen!" stella said again. "Men are basically selfish. In a household, men usually want us, women think of them as leaders rather than partners."

Mira was stunned to hear her mother's advice.

"I know from a long time ago you liked to argue and even reject openly - frankly when there is something you do not like. But now you can't be selfish."

Mira was sure the words her mother said meant that it was not a good attitude.

"After marriage, your life is different" Stella continued. "Not everything has to go your way and your rules. I was hoping you'd change. More to hear than to speak."

Mira opened her mouth to interrupt, but then closed it again. The response he wanted to say suddenly disappeared.

"All will be well as long as you are patient. I'm sure love will grow between you as time goes on."

Mira did not know how to respond to the words of her mother, so once again she could only nod her head. This time the movement was looking so clear that it made Stella display a gentle smile on her lips.

Right after that the door to the room was knocked. Mira wiped her tears and opened the door immediately.

Mira said goodbye to her parents, to her sister Mark and to some of the family members who were still in the hotel.

"Sorry, we can't get you to the airport" Martin said sadly.

"It's okay, pa. We'll meet in New York next week." Mira.

Mira hugs once more on her mother and her father and her sister Mark before she leaves.

    Mira's trip to New York sends her on a new life far different from her old life.

His presence in New York is not just because he is getting married. But more than that he had to venture out, seizing the heart of the CEO of Goldsmith Company.

It suddenly flashed through his mind what he knew about the man.

George is the CEO of Goldsmith Company.

George has a history of cyclotomia.
