Before Mira got out of the car, Steve again said, "Miss, I'm sorry if I was presumptuous. But would you consider Mr George's offer?" Mira looked at the man seriously.

"Mr George isn't as bad as you think. It was indeed haughty in nature and he obviously hated if his words were denied and his gift was rejected. However, believe me that Mr. George is a good man. And I don't know why I'm sure you can make Mr. George happy." Steve added.

Mira was confused for a moment. During their journey, the man said nothing. However, just before Mira left, the man instead said at length accompanied by eyes filled with a lot of hope.

Mira smiled regretfully. "I'm sorry, it looks like I..."

"You don't have to answer now, miss. Think about it first. I beg you."

The last part of the man's sentence left Mira touched. He took a deep breath and looked into Steve's eyes. "alright. I'll consider it"

George looked up at Steve. "good. By the way, what do you think? Is she fit to be Goldsmith's mistress?"

George was always open to Steve. George never doubted the man's loyalty. Whatever the problems and situations that occurred in George's life, everything is known to Steve. And as his confidant, Steve was happy to help his boss. Anything for Mr. George.

"If he can make you happy, then he fits" Steve said briefly.

Steve's words were unexpected. George's eyes narrowed at Steve. "Are you sure he can make me happy?"

"Yes" replied Steve.

"How can you be so sure?"

"Because the woman is experiencing exactly the way you have in the past, the subject of a love affair. Not long ago she broke up with her lover because her lover was having an affair.With such a painful experience, I am sure she will not betray you. And more than that, I'm sure she's the loyal type of woman."

George cringing. "really? Pity him." said George concernedly.

George recalls his past with his treacherous ex-girlfriend. That feeling is horrible. George knows what it's like to be betrayed. That's very painful.

So, getting Miranda Starlin married was the right decision. And George was sure the woman would accept him gladly and ignore whatever he had done. He was handsome, had many treasures, came from a distinguished family and was young. Come on, he's only thirty. For a man, that age is still relatively young age, is not it. So there's no way Miranda Starlin would turn her down, George thought.

And there is no need for love in their marriage. All it takes is a deal. George is willing to give Mira property, wealth and popularity if he is willing to marry and agree to a deal. And that woman has to.

"All right Steve. Do whatever it takes for that woman to marry me" George said in a stern voice

And Steve knew that whatever George said, it had to be done.
