Marrying the Rich Widow

Marrying the Rich Widow
Chapter 7 First Day of College

Cherry squirms, her body aches all over.

"Lazy, get up soon." David who had been neat in his suit surprised Cherry.

"It seems I'm spoiling you too much. Starting tomorrow, you must prepare my needs before going to work. When I get home, you should be home."

"Good." replied Cherry resignedly.

David leaves Cherry, still in bed.

"It's early in the morning, why did he leave for work?" muttered. Lazily he stepped into the bathroom.

"Ah, I deserve all the pain in my body. It turns out that monthly guests are visiting. Maybe Mia has supplies for herself, I'll ask for one."

He quickly took a shower and cleaned himself. Just wearing a bath robes, he went downstairs to find Mia. He thought there was no one at home. Men are rarely seen in the home.

"Mia." call Cherry.

Mia who was busy making something in the kitchen stopped her activities.

"Yes, Madam."

"Mia, do you have any pads?"

"Sorry, ma'am, nothing. Do you need it?" tanyakanya.

"Yes." Yeah."

"I'll buy it for you."

"No need, you just continue your work. I can get out on my own." Cherry turned her body ready to return to her room. But the figure of a strapping body confronted him, almost making Cherry fall.

"Oh."

"Where are you going?" david asked, ignoring Cherry who rubbed her nose because she was hit.

"I thought you were gone."

"You?" David scrunched his forehead.

Cherry who felt she had done nothing wrong was still relaxed.

"If you still dare to say "you", I will punish you."

"Aah!" Cherry who was slow to realize her mistake could only smile awkwardly, "yes, dear. I won't do it again." said Cherry softly, afraid Mia heard.

"What's up?"

"Eh that .. I have to go to the mini market first. Want to buy something."

"Let Mia go."

"Don't, Mia is still preparing breakfast. I can do it myself."

"Let me go, what do you need?"

Cherry looked at him in disbelief, should David buy it?

***

"There are many kinds. Whatever it is the longer the better." murmured David.

Some women who are shopping like getting a cool breeze when they see David in his suit passing between them, let alone see his shopping cart full of sanitary napkins.

"She must be buying her boyfriend. It's romantic."

"I want a handsome one like that too."

The women couldn't help but whisper about David behind her.

Because he did not have much time, David finally took all kinds of neatly lined up on the mini market shelf. He proudly carries a shopping bag full of various brands.

Cherry who was waiting in the room made dumbfounded to see a lot of pads, "this can be for stock up to a few months." murmured in disbelief.

"You made me late for work" David said after handing it over to Cherry.

"Ah, forgive me for bothering you, and .. thank you, dear." His cheeks were red when he said it.

David immediately turned around and walked outside, not wanting Cherry to see him smile.

"The cold man. I tried to be sweet but she was still indifferent."

Today is his first day of college. Not wanting to be late, Cherry immediately tidied up and rushed off. Johan had been waiting for him in the courtyard of the house. Don't forget he took a white envelope on his dresser containing money.

"Although it's cold but he's not stingy." murmured Cherry cheerfully.

"Johan, I'll call you when I get home" said Cherry, who asked Johan to stop the car in a quiet place. He does not want to be the center of attention.

"Good, Mistress. I'm back in Mr.'s office."

Cherry got out of the car and walked into the campus area. The atmosphere of the campus is so crowded. Cherry headed to the hall to attend the freshman welcoming event.

"Michel." murmured Cherry, she never expected to see him. A schoolmate who bullies her because she is poor.

"How could a poor girl like you be here? Don't tell me you went to college here too."

"Unfortunately it is."

Cherry felt no need to serve Michel and his friends. It went by.

"Hey, is this your best shirt? It's also quite nice." mocked Michel, "you're really wearing new clothes, bags, and shoes. Where can he get those expensive things? Don't-don't ..."

Cherry stopped her steps, "thank you for being so considerate of me. Even you know everything I'm wearing right now is new." Then he actually stepped away leaving the girls.

The main hall of the campus was filled with new students. After the welcoming event, Cherry toured the campus alone while waiting for her first lecture schedule to begin. He didn't have many friends before, because after school he had to go to work.

"Cherry, did you take this class as well?" sandra asked as they met in front of the lecture hall.

"Hey, Sandra. We're taking the same major, right?"

"Ah, of course. I'm so glad to be with you. Come on, let's go in."

Sandra held Cherry's hand. He saw the clothes, bags, and shoes that Cherry was wearing. He knew that what he was wearing was not cheap stuff.

"Your face is beautiful. Where did you buy it?" Sandra observed the details of the clothes Cherry was wearing.

"Ah, I bought it at a discount at the mall." Cherry lied on purpose, she couldn't have told me about David. His wardrobe was full of various models of clothes, Cherry only wears the ones that have been provided for him.

"Other times we have to shop together" said Sandra curious because she knew Cherry would not be able to buy expensive items.

"Yes, of course."

"Sssst, the lecturer's coming."

***

"Cherry, I have urgent business. We can't go home together" Sandra said as today's lecture ended.

"Calm down, Sandra. Now I don't live in my dad's house anymore, either, so we're not in the same direction."

"really? Where do you live then?"

"Southward." Because of their house to the north, Cherry only mentions to the south. It was impossible for him to say that he lived in the terelit area of this city.

"All right, I gotta go. See you tomorrow. Bye ..." Sandra waved and ran over leaving Cherry still in the classroom.

"Bye ..."

Cherry took her phone in the bag. He saw it on his phone screen now at four in the afternoon. He calls Johan to pick him up.

"I'm sorry, did Madam wait a long time?" johan asked when Cherry was in the car.

"No. Is David home?"

"Yet, Madam. Usually you come home at six."

"I'm so tired. Let's go home."

"Okay, Madam." Johan drove his car.

Cherry looked out the car window. The atmosphere of the streets in front of the campus was quiet. There were only a few pedestrians who were about to head to the bus stop in front.

"Sandra." he muttered.

She was alone with Alex. The two joined hands and laughed happily.

Cherry took a long breath.

"It looks like both dates are fun" she thought.

Then suddenly David's face was peppering with it.

"Ah, why did he show up? He always bullies me." - grimace.

"Mrs, is there a problem?" ask Johan.

"Nothing, I just remembered something" Cherry said misbehaved.

Once at home, Cherry immediately took a shower and changed clothes. Opened his closet wide. He only realized that the clothes he intended could not be bought with money from part-time work. It's only fitting that his friends don't believe he can wear it.

"The clothes have already been bought. Do I have to buy new clothes like the ones I used to wear, huh? These clothes are too expensive for me." Cherry stared at the contents of her closet that was not even used by a quarter.

"I'd better go down first. If the boss doesn't see me, he'll bully me again" he said, descending to the ground floor.

Cherry sat on the sofa and turned on the television. Not long ago he sat down, the sound of a car in the yard. Cherry immediately opened the door and greeted him with a smile.

"If I make her happy, I may be allowed to buy clothes. Even though he gave me a platinum card, I didn't dare spend it on unnecessary things." she said.

David got out of the car and walked towards Cherry.

"Welcome, dear." Cherry grabs the briefcase from David's hand.

"Hm ..." David furrowed his brows, feeling that something was wrong with his wife's behavior.
