Chapter 19 Galau
Unsettled and unable to sleep, Cherry decides to find out what David is doing. He came out of the room and opened the door to David's office, empty, there was no one there.
Then he walked down the stairs. The lights had been extinguished, he walked in the dark towards the row of empty rooms. Seen a beam of light under the door of a room, Cherry sure that the room is being occupied by David's sister. Cherry approached him, putting her ear on the door. He tried to listen to the sound of conversation.
"Hug me." The voice of the woman was so spoiled.
"Sleep" said David.
Cherry walked away, unable to listen anymore. He ran back to his room, his heart was so sick.
"Sister? Could it be with a sister? You've been playing me." Cherry spoke to herself in the bathroom mirror, "is that what it's like to be cheated on?"
Cherry was so angry, sad, and disappointed. Her tears have been so hard.
"I knew one day you'd dump me. I didn't think it was this fast."
Cherry locked herself in the bathroom for several hours. He continued to cry until he was exhausted and fell asleep in the bath tub (there was no water in it).
"Tok tok." The bathroom door was knocked, "Cherry, are you inside?" David's voice woke Cherry.
"Yes." Yeah." Cherry saw the light in the morning, "i'm still in the shower" said Cherry, making excuses, she didn't want David to see her sleeping in the bathroom.
After taking a shower, Cherry put on her bath robes and walked out. David was staring at her, and so was Cherry. David was still wearing his bath robes last night. Cherry's heart ached in pain imagining what they had done last night.
Cherry doesn't care about David, she changes her clothes.
"My Cherry ..." David hugged her from behind.
"I'm hustling. There's a lecture this morning." Cherry brushes David's hand.
David turned Cherry's body around, "are you angry?"
"No."
"Then why ignore me?"
"Darling, release. I had a lecture this morning." Cherry rolled her body, her eyes were so hot, she could not hold back the tears that slid without excuse.
"You crying?" David wiped Cherry's tears, "what's up?"
Cherry sighed, she tried to calm herself down, "is she really your sister?"
"Megan? Come here, sit down." Come on." David guided Cherry to the bedside, "Megan is the sister of my late wife who died a few years ago."
"Oh."
"Cherry .. I can't ignore it. She lost her brother. Right now I'm the only person he can count on."
"Has his parents died?"
"No, they're still healthy."
"Oh."
"I don't like you saying oh."
"Then what should I say?" Cherry got up from her seat, "I have to leave immediately."
Cherry continued to prepare her needs without caring about David.
"Cherry, you're jealous. He's just I think of him as my own brother."
"All right, I'm leaving." Cherry leaves David still in bed.

The campus is still empty. It's still too early. Cherry was just looking for an excuse to leave, she didn't want to see them both making out.
Cherry walked off campus. He went down the sidewalk. At the end of the room a cafe was opened. He remembered that he had not eaten anything this morning.
"I want a glass of warm cappuccino and pancakes." Cherry ordered her food and sat on a balcony decorated with various plants. From here he could observe the passing of vehicles on the highway.
It was the first time he had ever felt sitting in a cafe. A place like this was not affordable for him. The money wouldn't be enough to eat in a place like this. But now, he just swiped the card given by David.
"Well, I'll use this card well before you dump me." he murmured.
Cherry enjoyed her breakfast. He sat for a long time in the cafe. Think about what he should do next. Doesn't that woman just think of him as a sister?
Cherry booked an online taxi to take her to a shopping mall. He didn't expect David to know what he was doing right now. But Cherry did not know, all transactions he did with his card, automatically notification of card usage notification will go to David's phone. And David easily knows what Cherry is doing right now.
Cherry walks in shopping malls. He had no interest in buying clothes, David had bought them quite a lot. He passed by a jewelry counter, his net attracted to a pair of beautiful rings.
"Please." greet the salesperson kindly.
Cherry observed the pair of rings.
"You can get your name engraved in it."
"really?" Cherry seemed interested, she saw the price hanging beside her.
"The price is quite expensive, I can sell it for a year's worth of food if one day David dumps me." Inner Cherry.
"I'll buy it."
"You want a name engraving?"
"Yes, Cherry and David."
"Good, Miss. Please wait a minute."
Cherry does not have a wedding ring. At his wedding, David didn't give it to him. Now that he suddenly wanted to buy it, he thought maybe one day he needed it.
Cherry's mood has improved. He plans to give the ring to David at home. But now he still wanted to go around in the shopping mall. While carrying a papper bag containing a pair of rings, Cherry looking for a place to eat. He wants to rest.
Suddenly he saw a stranger in his eyes, it was David. She was with Megan at a boutique across the street from the restaurant she was sitting in. Megan is still stuck in David's body. He was pampered in his arms.
The sadness and disappointment that he painstakingly removed, now again destroyed Cherry's defense. But he decided to stay seated and watch them from afar.
"Megan is so special. Your late wife must have been precious." Cherry muttered to herself as she played the food on the table. His appetite has gone.
After a while, David and Megan left the boutique with a lot of shopping bags. After they don't see him again, Cherry pays all the bills and leaves. He no longer knew where to go, his feelings were chaotic.
Then Cherry decided to go home by taxi online. When he got home, he saw a guest sitting on the sofa.
Cherry planned to meet him to give her a greeting, then rushed towards her room. The guest invited him to talk.
"Sit down, tell me what your name is" said the woman he was in her 60s but still looked beautiful.
"I'm Cherry." Cherry sat next to him.
"Are you David's wife?"
Cherry was surprised to hear the question because not many knew who she was, "yes, Madam."
"Basic, David. How dare he get married without telling me." she said annoyedly, but then her face softened, "don't call me madam, call me mama."
"What're you? Ah, forgive me." Cherry was wrong.
"No, don't apologize. I know you're a good boy." he said kindly.
Before coming here, big lady Chuay had gotten information about Cherry. He was upset that David never took him to the Chuay family mansion in the city of M. So he decided to come here without David's knowledge.
"Madam, lunch is ready." Mia had prepared a slightly late lunch for mama David.
"Cherry, have you eaten?"
Cherry is hungry because she didn't touch her lunch, "not yet."
"We ate together."
"Good, Ma."
Then they both had lunch together and talked about many things. Mama David is a friendly and meek person, her personality is really far from David. Cherry accompanied David's mother until dinner time.
"Why hasn't David come home yet?" Mama David was upset.
"Maybe there's still work in the office, Ma." Cherry tried to calm down, there's no way she'd say David was having fun with another girl.
The sound of a girl's cheerful laughter was heard outside, then it appeared that Megan was struggling in David's arms.
"Mama, when did you arrive?"
Mama David ignored her, but was surprised to see the girl next to David, "Rachel?"
