Chapter 21 Wasted

Again tonight David did not sleep in his room. Cherry was restless all night, she couldn't sleep well. Various prejudices filled his brain, "what are they doing?"

By morning, David had not appeared.

"Where's David?" ask the big lady of Chuay when she will eat her breakfast.

"Maybe there's still work." Cherry tries to find an excuse for her husband, but she doesn't even know where David is.

Suddenly David emerged from the front door.

"David, where have you been?"

"Ma, I have to change clothes and go to the office. We'll talk later." said David as he walked upstairs.

"David!" Big lady Chuay looked upset.

"Sorry to disturb the Madam." Mia came by the phone, "The big master wants to talk to the madam."

Then the big lady Chuay took the phone and took it to the room. As for Cherry, she was just playing her breakfast, her feelings were so chaotic.

"Cherry, why are you daydreaming?" the voice of the great madam Chuay shocked him.

"Ah, no." replied Cherry nervously.

Grandmother Chuay sat beside her, then held Cherry's hand, "honey, I know you're a good boy. Hold on." then he let out a long sigh, "father David asked me to go home immediately. Are you all right?"

"I'm fine, Ma."

"Wanna go home?" David was suddenly in the dining room.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Let Johan take you to the airport" said David.

"No need, mom can arrange it herself. Let Johan take Cherry to campus."

"Be careful on the road, Ma. I need to get to the office. See you soon." David just left, but Cherry was eager to ask him a lot of questions.

"All right, sweetheart. Mama should get ready." Said the big madam to Cherry.

"Be careful on the road, Ma. Cherry must leave, too." Cherry said goodbye and they hugged each other. Cherry was so comfortable hugging her, she missed the warm embrace of a mother she never got.

Johan had been waiting for Cherry in the courtyard. Along the way Cherry looks moody, he did not say a word until the car stopped in front of the campus.

"Madam, we've arrived" Johan said.

"Yes." Yeah." Cherry got out of the car and walked into the campus gate.

David is busy in his office, a few days with Megan makes a lot of work delayed.

"Klings." A message from Megan went into her phone.

[Sister, why did I suddenly leave while I was still sleeping? I'm afraid to be alone here.]

[There's still work to be done. We will eat together.]

[Good, Brother.]

When lunchtime arrives, David piles up his unfinished files and goes to the hotel where Megan is staying.

"Sister." Megan hugged David who had just come to her room. Then Megan took him to the sofa in the middle of the room.

David looked at Megan who was wearing a thin nightclothes so as to make her curves visible.

"Sister, there's a drink here. Would you like to try it?" Megan had poured it in a glass.

David picked up a drink and shook it slowly. He recalled when Cherry was drunk with just a sip of a drink from her lips in this room. Yeah, it's the same room he had sex with Cherry.

"Why didn't Cherry ever call me?" his inner.

Got his cell phone out of his pocket, and David sent Cherry a message,

[Cherry, what are you doing?]

"Who did you send a message to?"

"Cherry."

Megan doesn't like to hear it, "sister, I'm hungry" she said spoiled.

"All right, let's eat."

"We can eat in the room?"

"Can. Order what you want."

"Sister is the best." Megan kissed David on the cheek, then ordered food using phone service.

"Sister, don't keep working. I'll put your phone away." said Megan with a cheerful and spoiled face, she put her phone on the nightstand, Megan secretly turned off the phone.

"Mayean ..."

"Come on, sister, just until we finish lunch." persuaded Megan.

A few moments later the hotel staff came to deliver the food. Megan has no intention of letting David go this time, she will make David drink a lot because last night she had failed to seduce David by his seduction.

"Let's have a toast" said Megan, brandishing her full glass, then gulped it down.

"Megan, don't drink too much."

"I've always been a good boy, brother. Let me enjoy it now. Come on, brother David, finish your drink."

David gulped down the glass. Then Megan poured the two empty glasses.

"Why is it suddenly so hot." Megan took off her thin robe, making the lingerie she was wearing even more challenging.

"Isn't my brother angry?" Megan tried to take off the suit that David was wearing.

"Megan, you're drunk." David brushed off Megan's hand.

"It's just two glasses, how could I be drunk." Megan grabbed David's cheek with her hand and brought her face so close that her lips touched David's.

"Megan." David dodges Megan's lips, her hands holding Megan's body against him.

"Sister, I don't want to be alone. I'm scared." whine Megan, taped her head to David's chest. His body was above David's. In such a position, which man would not be tempted.

"Megan, take care of your attitude." David's voice turned cold, he knew Megan was just pretending to be drunk.

David pushed Megan's body slowly, then stood up to fix her suit, "eat, I have to go back to the office."

David picks up his phone on the nightstand near the bed then leaves out of the hotel room, leaving Megan alone.

"Damn it!!!" shouted Megan, "this body I have made as similar as possible to Rachel, even I have to do some plastic surgery. Why do you keep rejecting me?" Megan gets angry and throws the glass in her arms.

David thinks that Megan is Rachel's replacement, he can treat his longing for his late wife. But their nature is different, even though Megan and Rachel look the same physically.

David was surprised by himself, he thought he wanted Megan so much that Cherry did not he ignore these few days. But why didn't her body respond when Megan tried to tease him? What's up with him?

David hides his grief by continuing the pending work in his office. He was unaware of his cell phone being inactive until the afternoon.

"Tok-tok-tok." Door knocked.

"Lake in."

Billy went into the room, his face agitated.

"What's up?" ask David.

"Johan tried many times to contact Mister, it seems like your phone is off."

David looked at his phone lying on the table, only to realize that Megan turned it off.

Billy continued, "Johan can't find Madam."

"What do you mean?"

"The lady's not on campus. The phone is inactive. Johan had been going around the campus looking for her because it was time to go home."

David took his cell phone and got out of the chair, "we're going to college."

"Good, Sir." Billy followed her from behind.

Billy drives the car at high speed. During the trip, David tries to call Cherry's phone, but the phone is off, "Cherry, where are you?"

When he arrived in front of the campus, Johan had been waiting for his master's arrival, "forgive me Mr. David, Madam I have not found."

"Have you checked the CCTV?" ask David.

"Already, Sir. This morning CCTV recorded the arrival of the Madam, a few minutes later the Madam came out of the campus gate and then did not enter again until the afternoon."

"Johan, look for her presence around this street. Billy, go to his dad's. Get the information there."

"Good, Sir." Billy leaves soon, and so does Johan.

David let out a long sigh, "Cherry, I'll punish you later."

Apparently no one could find Cherry, until a week had passed.

David becomes irritable to his employees at the office. He often daydreams in the middle of his work.

"My Cherry, where are you? Are you angry that I wasted you? Don't let anything bad happen to you, or I won't be able to forgive myself."
