Dave really feels really sorry. This time he sensed how the law could not be toyed with. His best friend Jang can't help him anymore. There was no way for him to be free of those demands. Only resignation and feelings of regret still enveloped his heart.
If time could be repeated, then he would never fall into that dirty work. But what to say. The stale has become a porridge. All of that was just a waste.
"I'm sorry Dave, I can't help you at all" Jang told Dave.
Dave was silent and was lamenting his fate ahead. He's going to jail and will likely lose Dinda. Now he really had feelings for Dinda. Will the past happen again?
How our loved ones feel about other men. That's what Dave doesn't want right now. This time he really lost. But he still hoped for Dinda. She doesn't want Dinda to leave her like Cindy did in the past.
"I'm really sorry Jang. I didn't expect it to be like this." Dave regretted.
Jang tries to calm Dave down. He tried to encourage Dave not to despair.
"I'm sure Dinda won't leave you" Jang said suddenly and made Dave stare intently at him.
"You mean?" ask Dave curious.
"Yes, I'm just sure Dinda won't leave you. She doesn't seem like a woman who would leave you like this." Jang replied.
"Are you sure?" ask Dave again.
"That's possible. But I'm pretty sure. I know he still loves Adit. But her position is now she's still your wife." Jang replied again.
"Come Jang. I just fell down with all this. I'm ready to lose everything. I deserve it." said Dave resignedly.
"Hey, where's the Dave I know? you're not like this. You don't get desperate." Dave reminded.
"What can I do again. I can't do anything about it. But I'm really very sorry."
"That's Dave, it doesn't have to be like this. You still have Dinda. I'm sure he'll help you. The decision is in his hands." said Jang.
After news of Dave's arrest and his past case is brought up again, Dave's company is in complete disarray. The hotel that Dave's parents trust to manage has been taken again by his parents. They handed it to Dion to run. The heartache and disappointment in Dave made his parents take that shortcut. They also trusted Dion. They had seen how enterprising Dion was as they lived together.
"Where is your mom going?" dion asked when he saw Kikan as if he wanted to leave.
"Mama wants to see Dinda." Kikan replied.
"Ma, Dion's coming. Dion also wanted to meet Dinda." pinta Dion and replied nod by Kikan.
20 Minutes later, Kikan and Dion arrived at Dinda's house. Dave's apartment Dinda lives in.
The doorbell rings. Dinda who was looking at the photo she got while cleaning Dave's workspace immediately realized. He hurriedly descended down to see who had come to his residence.
Dinda immediately looked at the monitor and she could instantly tell who was visiting.
Dinda opened the door. "Auntie, Brother Dion?"
Why are they coming? are they gonna scold me for marrying Dave?
"Please enter Aunt, Brother Dion." take Dinda. They also said and sat down on a couch.
"Dinda." call Kikan.
"Yes Aunty." reply Dinda. He did not know whether Kikan was now angry with him or not. The look on his face was completely unpredictable.
Kikan stroked Dinda's hair gently. " I'm sorry Auntie's son. Aunty knows you've been suffering from it." said Kikan and made Dinda a little surprised. It turned out that Kikan was not angry at him at all and instead pitied him.
"Yes Aunty." reply Dinda.
"You're okay, right?" dion asked a little worried.
"Dinda, Auntie knows you must have suffered a lot all along. You've been hiding it all this time." said Kikan sadly. "Tante also knows you married him for being forced, right? you love other people and Dave is forcing you to get married. Aunt was really disappointed with Dave." upset Kikan when she remembered her son.
"You still want to be with the people you love, right?" ask Kikan to Dinda.
Dinda quiet. He did not understand what Kikan meant to him. He still loves Adit. But why did Kikan ask like that.
"You'd better get divorced with Dave. Aunty doesn't want to because Dave gets your love blocked" Kikan said. Although his heart desperately wants Dinda to remain his daughter-in-law, but because he knows Dinda loves others and is forced to marry by Dave, he is willing to let Dinda go.
His parents wanted the same thing.
"Tante, Dinda won't get divorced." Dinda replied. Kikan and Dion widened their eyes in disbelief. For what reason does he maintain this marriage if he does not feel at all happy and in love with others.
"What do you mean Din?" ask Dion for wonder. He knows how Dinda suffered all this time. But why does he still maintain a marriage that is on the verge of collapse.
"Dinda knows you must be surprised by Dinda's words. But Dinda says that's why." reply Dinda.
"But why, baby?" ask Kikan for confusion.
"Over the last 2 months, Brother Dave has really changed. He was never again rude to Dinda. He also allowed Dinda to come out. Even though he didn't allow Dinda to meet that person" Dinda said.
Did Dave really love Dinda. Otherwise, it would be impossible for him to forbid Dinda from meeting with his loved ones. I hope so.
"But not that you still love that person. But why do you still want to survive? Dinda, Aunty does not want you to later regret this decision." recalls Kikan.
"Dinda does still have feelings for that person. But his feelings are not as big as they used to be. As long as Dave's brother turns on Dinda, Dinda tries to open her heart to him. Although until now it has not succeeded, but Dinda will continue to try." Dinda reassured Kikan.
"Are you aware of Dinda?" ask Dion for wonder. She felt that Dinda was not like the Dinda she knew.
"Sir Dion, Dinda knows she's worried about Dinda. But, Dinda has her own decision." said Dinda.
Dion just breathed a sigh of resignation. She still doesn't like Dinda and Dave's wedding as much as she used to. For him, Dinda is not at all suitable if juxtaposed with Dave.
"If it's your decision, you can't force it" Dion said resignedly.
"But what about him, Din? does he know your decision?" ask Kikan again.
"He doesn't know it yet Auntie. Dinda will try to say it. Dinda knows this is risky. But Dinda doesn't want anyone to get hurt." explained Dinda again.
Almost a day Kikan and Dion were in the apartment, finally they decided to go home.
"Dinda, let's say yes. May you be happy with your decision." said Kikan.
Dinda just smiled. Seen it there is still something that holds up and the curiosity is very big at this time.
Did I ask aunty. He must know who Dave's friends are.
Aunt, can Dinda not?" ask Dinda a little scared.
"What dear?" ask Kikan back.
"Did Auntie know who Dave's best friend was when he was in college?" ask Dinda again.
Kikan tried to think and remember. "Tante doesn't know. Just as a aunt remembered, she once said she had a friend who was still in school at that time. Auntie doesn't know which one. Maybe now they are still friends" Kikan said after remembering.
I think Aunt Kikan knows.
"Why Dinda?" ask Kikan curiously.
" There's no aunt."
